    Mini HUD

    In 1.5.8 there's mini-HUD option in settings. It works with F-15C, Su-27 and MiG-29 for sure.
  4. Yes, I know and I do my tests somewhere in this area. What about vsync? Is it worth to turn it on? I would like to change frames number from 30 to 60 but I don't have any idea how to do this.

My the newest settings: I also tested different settings with high shadows, 16500 trees and 100000 preload radius also with 8x MSAA but I didn't notice much difference but fps drops were appearing frequently. High shadows are noticable but not that much as I though while there's fps difference. Looks a bit better and flares are cool, that's all. I haven't tested it during dogfight. Sometimes, I had fps lags when shadows were on high. But now is much better. I prefer more preload radius than this and only 8000 trees which makes that I can see further and when trees're appearing, it's smooth. By the way, Art-J, what your settings are? What is Heat Blur excatly is and what resolution of cockpit display is the best in your opinion? 512 vs 512 Every Frame vs 1024 vs 1024 Every Frame? Anybody tested the difference between flat and default in terrain shadows?

Visibility range - still the same, so high because I've noticed the difference between medium and high Shadows to medium - didn't notice any difference but game seems to be fluently MSAA to 4x Lens effect = flat + dirt but I don't know what dirt could mean here Trees visibility - the same, looks good, works fine Preload radius - you're right and I wondered about it. Changed to 135000 instead of 150000 Terrain object shadows = default

    Thanks for response. Probably it's not, there're no any vibrations, etc. However, it seems that turning this on makes that plane is more sensitive to what I'm doing. That joystick has about 12 buttons. Most of them are set for options which are the most needed in my opinion. I'm just asking what sensitivity for axis, etc can be good in this situation.
  8. Hello, I've got a few questions to you which reffer to graphic settings. Some settings are ununderstable to me and I don't see any difference when I change something there. In photo, I marked a few things. Can you explain me what's going on with them? My game looks good but sometimes I've got lags, especially over mountains ( use Starway`s terrain mod ), sometimes over forests, cities - not high. What's the best combination of these marked settings for me if I've got i5-2500, GTX 960? Sometimes, it's hard to fight in near contact. Maybe it's because of shadows? I used to use 1024 resolution of cockpit and 8x MSAA. Is there any difference between 4x and 8x? And where are 8QX, 16QX, etc.?

    Joystic settings

    Hello, after update I've got problem to control my plane. I've got Logitech Attack 3 and I would like to ask you to help me in choosing the best settings for it. What sensitiveness should be set for my joystic? Force feedback should be turned on or not?

I've noticed a few things. - it's harder to take-off ( with the same load, there wasn't any problem to take-off over 140-150kn, now it's almost impossible ) - harder control during low speed (~200 kn ) - I've changed nothing so far but even at ground 'flaps' are still moving ( to big sentivity ) - Don't know why but my plane diving like Su-27 when it's not trimmed Btw.: Most realistic is using Force Feedback or not?
  11. Doesn't work. I've tried so many times so far and have no idea what shall I do to make it working. I used to use this mod before upgrade and now I can't open my mission. ( click on the photo if it's black )

  13. You're right. 1 - I've checked a lot of photos and haven't seen a configuration like this. 2 - it's like with Su-33 a bit, when it's too heavy, it can't take off from carier, so it can't take all weapons or it has to refuel during flight
  14. No, I'm not over max weight. If you take 3 tanks, 2 magics, 4 belugas, that makes the plane is really heavy.
  15. Some bombs are useful and that makes you can carry more and use more weapons. Why am I looking for other, lighter fuel tanks? Because after update I've got problem to take off and I need over 3/4 of runway to do this.
  16. Just for look. I really like Mirage 2000-5 Mk2. As you can see, there's also HAF skin of Mk2, so you would also say there's no sense to use skin like that one because it's not Mk2 version. Not always I fly in combat missions. Really often just for training or just for flight.
  17. Tanks're working but still looking for better tanks for wing pylons. MiG-29 fuel tanks are good but they've different angle. The next problem is fact that all tanks I added to wing pylon are in lower position than 2000L tank and have no clue how to change this.
  18. Thank you, it explains a lot. Is there any fuel tank in game similar to this carried by HAF which could be added to game by me and can be working perhaps? I created my own mod and added possibility to carry MICA IR, RF, GBU-12 on more pylons, 2xGBU-12 on wing pylons, and AGM-154 ( as SCALP ). Targeting pod as Damocles (only on one pylon) which is not using by HAF. Most of them are not able to be used, some GBU-12 works. Also added AN/ASQ-T50 TCTS Pod.
  19. Hi guys. M2000 in DCS has got 2 model of fuel tanks. First is on central pylon, 2nd can be added under wing. I was watching photos and I noticed that in real, Mirages also use other tanks under wings which are more lighter. Check this out: What's more, I used to use better textures of tanks for my M2000C but it seems something went wrong after update: Notice that enging of pylon is white. Problem disappeard when I deleted tank texture. :(

  21. It can be Mirage 2000EG or Mirage 2000EGM, so it's not similar to C version. EG is a bit different. EGM more different. Also, HUD of HAF Mirage 2000-5 Mk 2 is quite different that 2000-5F.

  23. Yes, once I watched video on yt and an author was showing how to add waypoints do radar display.
  24. That one, press twice and refueling lights are turning on. As you can see, it works. Earlier, the button which is responsible for refueling light was in different place, where SERPAM (what ever it is and if it works ) is placed now.
