  1. I'm using a 32" Sony Brava flat screen TV. I sit around 5ft away from the screen and can see everything including gauges etc no problem. It works well for me.
  2. This sounds fantastic. Gazelle is shaping up to be a classic module.
  3. yup............me too. :music_whistling: EDIT Latest newsletter is up http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=151478&page=3 no mention of the Gazelle :(
  4. /\ /\ /\ /\ Nice pic. Well, they look ok on our Gazelle to me, actually the detail they have put into this is amazing. I just looked at the start of the quick-start video where you can see the doors and if you look at the hinges, rivets etc. they have out Gazelle very close to it's real life counterpart. Wonder if it will release today? no sign of the weekend news letter yet........
  5. Lucky man, I'd love to try VR out on this bird. Lets hope we don't have to wait that long for the Gazelle to arrive!
  6. If we are really lucky.........we will get both :D
  7. Incredible detail......what an AWSOME module. Just fantastic. Well done all at Polychop. Are the clouds gathering yet? :joystick:
  8. Winds still light and variable here................no sign of that storm yet :music_whistling:
  9. So has the barometer started falling yet, are the storm clouds gathering on the horizon? or do we have a week or so of fine weather ahead? Do I need to ground all the other aircraft in the hangar and batten down the hatches (we all know helicopters fly better in rough weather right :joystick: )? :D
  10. Thanks for the reply  Not long now then :D :pilotfly:
  11. I remember when the M2000C released, Razbam released info that the completed module had been sent to ED for proof testing and the forums erupted. It was like a week later when it was finally ready for release. This time my bet is on no release of info at all, to avoid the hype explosion on the forums. The word will just come from ED as a post announcing the release of the module, together with a link to the store and an update to 1.5 and 2.0 to update both releases with the Gazelle files. Polychop will then start talking to us again, but until ED give their blessing and release it......it will remain firmly under wraps. EDIT Well, looks like no gazelle this week guys, the new A10C training campaign looks good though.....
  12. I'd love to see this released today. After what happened with the M2000C release I think they are playing it quiet this time and not giving much away as to current progress and release dates to keep hype down. When it does drop it will be sudden and unannounced before hand. Time will tell........
  13. Hoping to hear something new soon, as we only have a little over 2 weeks left if Polychop are still planning on a Q1 2016 release as they stated in their December update. Any news, rumours or scuttlebutt gratefully received :D
  14. It seems to have gone a bit quiet on the Gazelle front lately (or have I missed some dev updates?). In the OP Polychop talked about a release, if all went to plan, for Q1 2016. Well....we have just over two weeks left of that period, so I was wondering if this is still the plan or have there been delays since December when the OP was posted? Any info gratefully received :D
  15. Nice find Skull  Thanks for sharing it buddy.
  16. Superb video. A fitting tribute to Blooze. Well done to all who took part and supported this touching tribute to one of our finest. Clear skies Blooze...................
  17. Anyone know where it is being moved too? I can't find anything on it :(
  18. Sad news. My deepest condolences to all his friends and loved ones.
  19. Excellent news.........been waiting on this for a long time  As they said in that coffee advert......"worth waiting for" was it coffee?? :helpsmilie::D Nice work Pman and all at VA, well done guy's Game on :joystick:
  20. You guy's never seen that B movie "Tarantula"? They wiped that giant spider out too at the end with an air strike :joystick:
  21. You guy's not seen the 1950's B movie "Tarantula"?....I guess this is ED's version :D Nice easter egg that.........it's up north just to the east of Rachel if anyone wants the location, fly high and you cant miss it. :joystick:

    Harrier poll

GR7/GR9 all the way for me. This module will truly be the icing on the DCS cake for me :D and for you guy's and gal's who fancy a little bit of reading to get you all in the mood for the GR7/GR9 I can HIGHLY recommend.... "Joint Force Harrier" By Commander Ade Orchard RN. This really is a stunning book and shows off the potential of the Harrier and what the brave and talented guy's who flew it achieved, in this truly astounding and versatile little jet. Hope the Dev's find time to read it too as it shows off the role to which the Harrier is most suited and will hopefully give them inspiration when building the module and what it can hopefully be used for within DCS world. God speed on this one RAZBAM, I can't wait..... :D

    Air refueling

But you make it look so easy! :D :joystick: Nice video Maverick..... What you said in a later post about having to pump the throttle to keep position......that can not be realistic surely! I had many trips in VC10 tankers when I was in the RAF and witnessed lots or AAR and it ain't easy for the pilots at first, but the pumping of the throttle thing has to be a limitation of AAR in game as that doesn't happen in real life. Yes throttle adjustments take place obviously, but to that extent :O Hope they get it implemented soon. On another note I absolutely suck at AAR, I struggle with the A10-C, but would love to master it.
  25. Great video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing it. Loved the forward view from the instrument panel coaming. Nice work buddy
