  1. I'm in....donation sent. Good luck to all of us, hope this makes release.
  2. I would have to go with number 5 right now. Only time will tell on some of the other comments. I have played IL2 CoD and liked it to a certain extent, but for me DCS's attention to detail on the modules keeps me here. They are a real challenge in themselves, not counting the combat too :joystick: The folk I have talked too on IL2 servers say that DCS isn't fully fleshed out yet, ie no WW2 map, but that is coming soon hopefully, and the server limitations on DCS, numbers of players and lag etc keep them away for now. I think that DCS WW2 servers would become as popular if not more so than say IL2 CoD servers if some of these issues were addressed, and lets face it, if they can achieve this then there's quite a large customer base there (and it's associated income!) just waiting to jump on board the DCS train. I really hope they include Southern England in the Normandy map, in my view it is vital they do!, as that would open up lots of possibilities for different periods of the WW2 conflict, not just 1944. Ok we wont have a MK1a Spitfire, Blenheim or Hurricane for a Battle of Britain scenario (at least not yet!) but we do have a damn fine 109, soon a Spitfire MkIX, and a Stuka, so I guess the basics are there for a BoB scenario even if it isn't historically accurate. I for one am really looking forward to seeing how DCS WW2 pans out. My two cents. :)
  3. Thanks for sharing it alaryk. Look forward to trying it.
  4. The included campaign with the Gazelle is excellent, very professionally done. Just make sure you know the Gazelle systems inside out before you try it! It's an awesome module.
  5. Nice work Sleipner  Been looking forward to these, thanks for your work.
  6. LOL. Well personally speaking, I like the guy.....he has died for me many times under my command :joystick:
  7. Where's your Test Pilot spirit :D
  8. Any chance you could let us know when it gets uploaded please?
  9. Just a single monitor, a Sony 32" flat screen TV and also using TrackIR with a Pro clip.
  10. Description: Ever since the Gazelle released, if I have the controls indicator box up on screen (the little red box you have options to show in top left of screen, bottom right etc.) I get the vertical line within the box ok but not the horizontal line. DCS Version: All versions 1.5.3 public, 1.5.3 open beta and 2 open alpha. Steam: no Map: Caucus and Nevada SP/MP: Both SP and MP Reproducible: yes, every time I open the controls position box in the Gazelle, problem is not apparent on other modules. Step to Reproduce: Open any mission or MP session and enable the controls indicator in game. Screenshot/Video available: yes, attached. Track Available: no Mission File: Any mission or server replicated the problem at my end. Controllers: HOTAS Warthog stick and throttle, Saitek Combat Pedals OS: Win 7 SP1 RAM: 16GB GPU: Nvidia GTX980 Mods: None Any Additional Information: none. EDIT...For some reason it hasn't uploaded the screenshot however if you take a look at my other bug report here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167354 the same screen shot is attached and the issue is apparent in it. Sorry I have the flu and I'm not firing on all cylinders here!! BTW guy's this is nit picking, you have really given us an absolute astounding module with the Gazelle. She is a stunning work of art and a real credit to all at Polychop.
  11. Description: I can not get the pilots body (pilot or co pilot depending what position you are in at the time) to show in game. I've tried R Shift + P but this has no effect. If you are in the co pilot (aircraft commanders) position the pilots body is visible but not your own, same thing if you are in the pilots position. DCS Version: 1.5.3. Open Beta release only ( works fine in all other versions - 2 open alpha and 1.5.3 public ) Steam: no Map: Caucus. Reproducible: yes, on every flight in the Gazelle on the Open Beta release. Step to Reproduce: open any mission or multi player session. Screenshot/Video available: yes Track Available: no Mission File: any mission, it happens in all flights in the Gazelle. Controllers: HOTAS Warthog stick and throttle Saitek Combat rudder pedals OS: Win 7 update 1 RAM: 16GB GPU: Nvidia GTX980 Mods: none Any Additional Information:
  12. I thought I would post here first with this as so far no one else has mentioned it so issue may be at my end rather than a bug. Ever since the Gazelle released and in every version I have (beta, release and alpha) it's the same.....on the controls position box, the red one that you can set up in different corners, I don't get the horizontal line in the box, just the vertical one. Also with the latest beta version release I can't see my own pilot body, tried r shift + p but nothing. All OK in other release versions. Hope this makes sense.....I'm grounded with the flu at the moment and not functioning too well!!!
  13. I voted no, but this is a very good compromise that I'm more than happy with. Thanks Dimitriov
  14. Nice one......looking forward to that desert skin. Great work.
  15. This is indeed a shame, I was really looking forward to this DLC. Set up a donation site or online store Starway and I will happily contribute, please include Paypal option :smilewink:
  16. LMAO  You even had my wife in hysterics with that!! Update sounds great Roie, nice to have a choice. But mine.....I'm gonna stay well clear of hash browns and baked beans, after all the work you guys put into the pilot models there's no way I'm gonna fart, push him out or anything else, I like him just where he is.....even if his eyes are a little weird :D
  17. I'm interested! Good post btw:thumbup: Keep at it, it gets easier honest. Then you will look back and wonder what all the fuss was about. Then jump in a Huey and crash it straight away!!! I did...lol. I can't get enough of the Gazelle, she sure is awsome.
  18. Well said
  19. Fantastic update, thanks for sharing it with us. Gazelle is really looking awesome now  Keep up the great work guy's.
  20. This behaviour could be normal. Check out page 53 of the manual. It says the COMB warning light will come on when 50 ltrs fuel remaining and will stay on once lit until the main fuel tank level reaches 387 ltrs on refuel. So if you refuelled to less than this amount, that's the reason it's still on. From the screen shot it looks like you just refuelled to 250 ltrs.
  21. I just checked this also, and it works ok for me in 1.5.3 - 1360x768 on Sony 32" flat screen tv. Could be screen resolution issue in the settings?
  22. I read a post somewhere (cant find it now) that Wags was looking for info on English airbases and BIGNEWY recommended a book, his reply to that was he had ordered a copy. This was from over a year ago, so I assume that southern England will be included from this?. EDIT Found it.....Here's a link to the conversation......posts 5 & 7. Going back to December 2014. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135412
  23. Looking forward to this......awesome work so far. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but did this model have the dive siren on it? will this be included in the finished module? if so will others be able to hear it in MP?
  24. Brilliant work. Thank you so much
