Never heard of a Spitfire IX firing handbags before but hey......I'm sure some very clever Modder here would be happy to oblige :lol:

I seem to remember when the 109 first came out you got 3 cartridges for the flare gun. They would automatically reload another cartridge when you fired one to a max of 3. Recently I noticed if you fire one that's it, no reload. Am I missing something, like a reload key binding in a recent update or is this a bug? or has it something to do with the server settings I happen to be on at the time? (not tried firing it offline, just in Multiplayer, mainly at other players :D).

This is so true! Now the dev's said they were aiming for a Q1 2016 release in their December update, so I'll see you guy's in the Gazelle around the end of June then ;) Meanwhile I'm having an absolute ball in the Bf-109 :joystick:

Just to get us in the mood take a look at this video guy's..... [ame= ] [/ame] yes.....yes.... I know we are getting the IXc and this is a IXe (anyone know the exact difference?) but I thought I'd share it anyway. Do yourselves a favour guy's, stick some headphones on and crank up the volume and feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!! LOL, following orders to the last! Wouldn't you if you were in the Gazelle with Wags! After some of those crashes he pulled off, getting himself shot down etc. :lol:

Release next week maybe? Starway's textures sure look good in that live stream. Like the way he has updated the building textures. Almost like the Gazelle was meant to be flown with those textures :)

Thanks for the extra screen shots Starway, I was sold on this DLC as soon as I saw it on the Gazelle stream, but after those latest shots it's a day 1 buy for me. Nice work Starway :thumbup: -
This trip sounds great, you're a lucky guy. Are you going to up to Rachel?, if I was going that would definitely be on my list. Could I ask you to post or host some photo's of your trip when you get back please? Cheers......enjoy :thumbup:

Thanks for the thread SiTh, I posted this on the other messy thread, but now that's closed I thought I would post here and hope for an answer! Following on from the other thread I had issues flagged up from running the OR system checker tool, then I tried the Steam VR tool..... I just ran the Steam VR test and all checks out However I will have to upgrade and install more USB 3.0 ports as I only have 3 at the moment. and another issue... Blimey!!......that's nuts! Hopefully this is on topic?...... I'm looking at getting a CV1 and I went on the Oculus web site and ran their system checker. It came up with my CPU isn't good enough!? now does this mean either a CPU change or a new rig? my specs are below in my sig. What do you guy's think?

I'm no expert here at all as to the aerodynamic forces at play, but here's what I do..... First I shut the throttle (simulating an engine failure). Drop the collective and pull back on the cyclic a little, which has the effect of increasing the rotor rpm, I then increase the collective to stop the rotor from over speeding and I find a balance between slight back pressure on the cyclic to maintain rotor rpm and an increase in collective to check its rpm, and aim to keep the rotor rpm in the middle of the green area on the gauge, and look for somewhere to land. If you are 2000ft + this gives you quite a bit of time for the decent and pick a decent spot to land. In the decent I try to decrease forward speed a bit so once I'm near the ground I can slow to a stop just before touchdown. As the ground comes up I start to add more collective to reduce the decent and try to time it so I touchdown just before I run out of energy in the rotor. It works, but required constant practice to get it right. Hope this helps you out a little :)

I have to agree here. After the weekends stream which was great, its gone a wee bit quiet again. The fiz will go flat if left too long! At least an announcement or pre purchase option would be in order I think.

I'm sure I can find the room somewhere...... If you guy's have a quick wip-round for the purchase fee plus my helicopter flying lessons, I'd be pleased to take you all up for a jolly :pilotfly: Alternately, if you release the Gazelle now, I can start practicing straight away and that should cut the cost of the lessons considerably :P

My idea of a perfect dish right now is.... A nice little texture mod release for starters, closely followed by a Gazelle release for the main course, Then an hour or two on the VA server to let it all go down and digest nicely!!! and the whole lot washed down by a Wobbly......or two :D

Hello there! Welcome to the "is it done yet" community :D Looking forward to what you guy's have in store for us all. :thumbup: I'm really looking forward to trying out a rift for the first time, like yourself I believe it is a real game changer. From an experienced "rifter's" point of view, may I ask if you think my system would handle the CV1? I did try the system checker on the Rift web site and it states my CPU ain't good enough :( Sorry to go off topic! Meanwhile.....welcome again :)

Another possibility after the initial sale of the texture mod would be to bundle it with an aircraft module, say the Gazelle or A10C. Aircraft that spend a lot of time watching the ground looking for targets. This would I'm sure be of interest to at lot of folks.

Not forgetting all the training missions that come with most modules will continue to be on this map, unless they start bundling modules with maps on a regular basis. Two campaign's eh Brix...... are you bribeable with say.....a case of err.... wobbly? :D
