I thought the textures were very impressive. I think Wags had autumn running last night, so it would be good to see the other 3 season's textures too, which I would think ED would show these in a pre-sales video anyway? As for me, yes...... I would pay for a quality upgrade to the textures. Like Bignewy said, it's good to have a choice.

They answered the questions in the chat while Matt was flying. They said the Q&A would be posted here on the forums soon .....

Anyone know if you have to register with You Tube to see the live stream or is just going to the link in Wags's post enough?

I'm sure I read or heard somewhere (can't remember where now!) that the Gazelle will be a full release, ie no beta phase. Hopefully all will be revealed later today :)

I noticed this too......nice touch that. A bit off topic but the ability to place airfields may also be a great addition when it comes to operating RAZBAM's Harrier as field deployments can be simulated.

Just seen those pics in the latest newsletter. The Spitfire looks absolutely stunning!! and the Normandy map is coming along very nicely :thumbup: Great newsletter this week................

1. Has a price for the Gazelle module been decided yet?, are you guy's having a pre-purchase for the module? 2. I noticed in the excellent start up video you released you mentioned a fully functional navigation system on the Gazelle, what functions will be available on the system? 3. Will there be an English cockpit option included in the module Special options tab in game? This one for Wags if I may..... Q. The new textures that are going to be shown, will these be part of the standard Caucasus map upgrade in 2.5 or a separate DLC? (This upgrade sounds awesome BTW :) ).

This is a fantastic thread fella's. Lots of good info and tactics discussion here. Ive had the KA-50 for a while now but never spent a lot of time on it until recently and loving every minute of the learning process. All these tactics I find fascinating, the reason I love DCS so much. Day one purchase here for the Gazelle when it finally arrives, but this thread has opened up a whole new perspective for me on how I'm going to use it, thank you all for your inspiration. What's the best server to go on to get involved with this sort of gameplay? I'm guessing the 104th?

Stunning, awesome what else is there to say! The detail on the wings is absolutely astounding. Fantastic work guy's. This is gonna be the module of the century!!! Loved that close up shot of the side of the cockpit in flight, the detail level on the crew's heads and the ejection seats.......nice, very nice. Looking forward to part two :thumbup:

First time I've done this so hope it's ok. Flying on VA server the screen starts to stutter, getting worse very quickly to a point where it stays fixed - like a screenshot, and game locks up. I was getting around 60 fps prior to crash. There were others on the server that were warping. Only way to get a response is to exit game from task manager, which states DCS not responding. Same crash has happened several times now, but not on a regular basis. I am currently using Mustang's ground texture mod from the 104th however I was getting this same crash before installing the mod so not the cause I think. Currently using Nvidia Geforce 364.51 GPU drivers. EDIT Just noticed I have posted this in open beta forum, my mistake gents, I was on the 1.5.3 full release.
