Pride and business don't go particularly well together: ED knows that sending RB to go hell would leave a lot of "unhappy" users with a really low trust in ED accountability, which probably won't buy another 3rd party module untill the hell freeze. Much better swallow the pride, try fix the issue with RB and then try to find a way to avoid such kind of problems in future modifiying the ED vs 3rParty dev agreements.

First of all the must finish all missing stuff for Harrier, M-2000C and (obviously) F-15E. Then, RB should release a really interesting module... M-2000-5 / Mig-23 are not interesting enough to me. And even if they did both of above, I will wait for the end of Early Access before buy.

Flown again the mission this night and made it this time: the secret was to simply try lower the gear a couple of times so that the failure dialogue trigger kicks in. Case closed!

Yes, it was too late (already landed), but I saw that dialogue and the following ones (I actually gave up and exited the mission while the protagonist's voice said he didn't have the checklist with him).

Ok, I've finally began the campaign: after the tutorial mission, I diligently followed the flight plan for mission 1: flight level, speed, formation etc... everything according to the plan and orders. Anchored in the correct spot, I waited my turn maintaining altitude and 250 knots. When the time came, I turned towards the H4 base and correctly aligned with runway 10 and flew the approach descending gently from 5000 feet and slowing down. Correctly asked the permission to land at 5Nm and lowered the landin gear lever... Kept the flight path marker on the edge of the runway, slowing down and trying to keek the AoA indicator on the green marker... Almost at the touch down... why I'm stiill so fast? Let's extend the airbrake! Touchdown... something is worng: the nose fallen down too early and too fast... and there are stange vibrations from the plane belly! ... The landing gear... Did I check the landing gear lights? Obviously not, otherwise I would have noticed that the gear is blocked and did not come down... I just landed on my belly! Well, I've just failed at the intro mission... my ego hurts so much

I love the Jeff, but honestly speaking: is simply too good to be real, (and I'm not the only one who think that).

I'm in the same situation as you: I own F-15E, Harrier and M-2000C and there is a risk to never see the MudHen completed. That's really sad but there's nothing I can do except wait and hope for the best.

Well, if RZ had continued to work normally on his modules while trying to find an agreement with ED you would be right. Instead it's almost a year since we received updates and fixes, so this definitely concerns us. A glimpse of hope perhaps? A dim light far away in the darkness of this tunnel of sadness? Or maybe just an attempt to push customers to put pressure on ED? We'll see...

I was tempted to ask for a refund at first, especially since the "situation" had killed all the enthusiasm I had for the module. But after mulling it over for a few days I decided to wait till the end and see how it goes before decide if ask for a refund or not: the Mudhen is a damn good module and I hope for a good outcome.

This option has been already discussed in the past and one of the possibilities being considered as explanation is that this behavior (stopping selling RB modules) could be a breach of contract by ED, which is something I believe ED wants to avoid.

You can read it as "we won't develop new DCS module anymore, but we are trying to find an agreement with ED and support/finish the ones we have released".
