  1. I just got the TWCS Throttle from Thrustmaster (the throttle of the T.16000M HOTAS), plugged it in and started making my button binds before I even fired up a module. However, when I opened up F-15C, the cockpit view was screwed up. It was as if my pilot's head was pushed back all the way to the back of the seat. I couldn't manually using they keyboard to move the pilot head forward or back, or side to side at all (using "R Ctrl" + "R Shift" + "/" or "*" for example). More weird is that in the F2 view, my TrackIR will start affecting the outside view... If I turn my head on the F2 view, the camera will look away from the plane but still follow it... Also, inside the cockpit, if I move my body from side to side, or move my head closer or further from the screen, nothing happens. I checked the axis bindings and they were all correct. The only thing that works is simply looking around with the TrackIR (head yaw and pitch). I've cleared the TrackIR category, TWCS throttle category... etc. and yet the problem still persists. I even unplugged the throttle and rebooted DCS and the problem is still there so it's not caused by the throttle... Can anyone please help? Sorry for long post. EDIT: Just to add, nothing is wrong with the A-10C, everything works just fine inside the cockpit, TrackIR and the throttle, but F2 view is still affected by TrackIR for some reason.
  2. When is the second giveaway starting? Or am I too late already? :p
  3. ouch. ain't sound too fun? I always hear great things about this module though. Any other thoughts?
  4. Hi everyone, seeing that there's the enticing Christmas sale of the MiG-21bis, I was wondering what the condition of the module is. How finished is everything? How "fixed" is everything - is everything that needed to be fixed is fixed? How optimised is performance and other refinements? And what's the biggest drawback that we have to deal with for this module? Thanks!
  5. Ah okay, thank you. At least it's on the radar.
  6. I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but I think that the triggers in ME are dead and broken. I flew several of the FC3 quick start missions and the trigger to spawn more enemy aircraft do not work, even after going into the ME to check that they are used correctly etc. Can anyone verify this and get this to ED's attention? Thanks.

    F-15E?

Yeah agreed, would like to see a full F-15C from BST or something.

    A6-Intruder

Which is probably not gonna be until 20(F/A-)18 lol
  9. I'm assuming it's the same reason why we don't have a fully clickable Su-27. The technology is old enough, it's possible to get enough information on it, but lots of restrictions from the Russian side I believe. We can get an early 2000s (!) F/A-18C while we have difficulty getting close to a cold-war red fighter, most likely due to outside factors, not availability of information. (At some point, ED was planning to make a Su-27SM I think, but was also cancelled.)

    F-15E?

Lol literally the reason why we need some quality red fighters
  11. Could be left over from older stuff or just an external model for the AI.
  12. I don't know if I deserve to have this... I'm modest... In any case, I've been dealing with a 3D pro with a dead rudder twist for the A-10C. Taxiing while mashing the keyboard for rudder while having hands off the throttle ain't so fun :p Definitely has many things to be desired for. Thanks for the opportunity!
  13. I think to add an extinguisher system would be physically adding more systems to the plane, and since this is a FC level systems modelling plane, I'm not sure if and or when they will do that.
  14. I'm not sure what conditions this happens in, but I have noticed that sometimes, the RPM skips from 67% to 62% when I put the throttle completely back. If I have the throttle on at like even like 1% above complete idle, it will remain at 67%. Otherwise, it will skip to 62% and take an eternity to spool up, killing you on landings.
  15. Is there a large disparity between real life capabilities compared to in game?
  16. Nah, in 1.2.x it definitely was working :p
  17. No, there was a problem where if you had altitude hold on, if you entered a bank, the nose will slowly start dropping until it was lower than the allowable range for autopilot to work, and it'd disengage. Essentially, altitude hold wasn't working properly. Don't know if OP was referring that that being fixed, because if it is, that would be amazing.
  18. I think there's less roll rate in general than before, I think it's attributed to the AoA and G limiter though, possibly to reduce stress on the plane.
  19. Lol, essentially, but aren't just about every other fighters though? :p
  20. Not sure if this has been discussed already, but from what I've gathered, doesn't the real life ACS in the Su-27 is only calibrated for one weight configuration? So it doesn't care if you're max weight and 1.2M, it'll still let you pull over G and break your wings?
  21. An awkward "close" encounter I had with MeoW a few months back. Finally got around to editing it! :joystick: Enjoy! 3tFhFeeM9Qg
  22. Does anyone know why the Rockeyes and LAU-61 were removed though? I mean, the models kinda looked shit because they never got updated, but if they kept it in the game, maybe at some point they could give enough attention to update it...
  23. Just wanted to chime in, but just like what everyone said, the A-10 does NOT have a radar. What you are looking at is the Radar Warning Receiver. Think of it as your eyes in huge dark room and people with flashlights. You can't tell if someone is there unless they turn the flashlight on. However, just because they turn the flashlight on, you can only see where they are relative to you. You have no actual distance measurement, you have relative radar strength (in other words, how bright the flashlight is). So what you are seeing is when other aircrafts' radar is scanning and their radar signals happen to hit your plane. (Someone waving a flashlight in the dark, they may not have seen you yet but you can tell that there's someone there). If the tone changes to a very fast and intense bleeping, it means they have locked on to you and are focusing their radar energy to look at you. Since your A-10 doesn't have a radar, if you fly right behind someone they won't know you're there unless they physically look over their shoulders and see your plane.
  24. Haha, I think I know which video you're talking about. I was meaning to take it apart and try to fix it, but never got the time to. But I definitely will some day. As for the age of the joystick, I've only had it for a few months before it showed problems with the rudder twist. Since I've disabled it, I've probably had the joystick for another few months making that a total of probably 1 year + 2~3 months
  25. Interesting and thanks for the insight.
