Yeah, maybe the rudder twist is a hit or miss with the 3D pros. For some reason, my sensor seems to be crap and it's constantly off centre. I've tried calibrating it many times, unplugging/plugging back in, etc. still doesn't work. Trying to twist it completely in one direction would yield only about 50% that way and then twisting only half way the other direction is full rudder deflection that other way. It sits centre at about 40% deflection to the right. I've just unbound rudder twist entirely :p

So I've always been flying with the fixed-wing stuff and I've got the A-10C to work with the 3D Pro just perfectly fine. I don't use the rudder twist because the sensor seems kinda screwed up so in normal flight, I never use rudder. However, I'm wondering how I can manage with a rotary wing without rudder pedals and only a 3D Pro? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Oh. That's interesting. I've seen that on the forum many times and I never saw any posts refuting it. My bad then. I'm curious then, what was the deal with the SM variant? Did they try to make one? Weren't they in the process of making one but (something) happened and they couldn't do it anymore?

Force correlate is also available in the 65G which is also IR ;)

Apparently even a S variant would be a pretty far stretch unfortunately :( ED got cease and desist from RU gov't when they tried to make the SM so I don't think it'll be easy for them to even make the S given how many of them are still being used today. It's just sad to see that there's not enough information or the government is so closed off about the Russian planes when we have enough government permission and information to make a late 90s/early 2000s freaking hornet!! Sigh. One day... hopefully... (two weeks?)

Recently in the DCS 2.0 update notes, they wrote that the "fixed FPS drop when using RADAR" under "DCS World" and not any module in particular. So maybe we can pray and hope that a fix has been implemented and we're waiting for them to update 1.5 as well...?

This issue was happening regardless of GPU OC. In fact, I usually play DCS underclocked. But either way, I still got stuck on the loading screen. I haven't played a long mission in DCS for a while now so I haven't encountered this problem, but if I do, I'll post a log thing here.

Indeed and well said. To be honest, I think you're going to have much more trouble getting the hydraulic force to pull a 12.5g with full bags on the wings than we think...

Not sure if they are going to start a FM from scratch as the 15C has a PFM right now, but probably a modified version of the PFM to incorporate the extra weight, weapons, CFTs etc.

Ahhhh definitely instant buy! Awesome that Prowler showed up and fed our hungry stomachs without those cool wip shots. Do we have a confirmation that the A2G radar is coming along from ED though? Does the F/A-18 that we are going to get have an A2G radar?

Only updates are that the F/A-18 is coming along... Which means the ground radar is coming along (right...?) which mean that hopefully progress could continue on the 15E because the ground radar might be coming along.......... Yeah... progress on the 15E is pretty stagnant given that it's not even confirmed.

Just out of curiosity, do you have the data for the F-15C's sustained and instant turn rates? I know it differs compared to the E especially since those usually have CFT and -229 engines.

Okay I'll try that. Thing is that I've always had "easy communications" on because I don't have a hotas so I don't have the luxury of extra switches to use as the mic switches so I relay on the backslash key and the radio menu and then the easy communication will tune the frequency to the one I need. I guess I'll try turning it off and actually using proper radio stuff then.

Hi everyone, I'm playing the Georgian Hammer campaign without CA and I have trouble raising my wingman and JTAC and anything else. Makes it kinda frustrating since I can't tell my wingman to help me with the ground targets, he just follows me around and I can't ask JTAC for targeting help. Is there a way to fix this? I am using simple radio so I know that the frequencies are automatically the right ones when transmit.

Sorry to be a bit off topic here, but does the Su-27 have AFM or PFM? IIRC, the F-15C has been upgraded to PFM for a while but I don't remember if the Su-27 is PFM level yet? Thanks.

I believe that's the Ultra MFCD mod. It's not only for the F-15 but everything else as well. It allows you to have some col features options. Kinda controversial though because it doesn't seem too awfully fair because you get a colour TGP in the A-10C and some other things like that.

Prototypebay, you're missing the point that one of the main reasons why we don't have better tactics like you suggested because no one will give you these military tactics for free. You can find some basic and general BFM tactics, but never detailed strategy and tactics. Plus, their tactics incorporate the technology and abilities that they have, which are not modeled in DCS. If you take a listen at some of the A-10C pilot interviews or Q&A, you'll hear that they wouldn't even talk about the countermeasure systems or loadouts because they could all relate to strategies, which are probably pretty closely guarded and classified.
