  1. you've been told numerous times this isn't a bug. turn off your engines to repair. they do reply "copy" and wait for you to spool down.
  2. Although the results are inconclusive without more testing on your part, it looks like your ISP is enforcing some sort of bandwidth shaping. You might want to contact your ISP. I sometimes get high ping when I first connect to the DCS web browser but goes away after a refresh.
  3. You can already reverse it.. but unfortunately it is also bound to radar elevation. So essentially he would like the option to bind his TGP separately. Just need ED to give option to a separate keybinding. Simple. This isn't rocket science.
  4. I think that is all the OP is requesting. I wouldn't want them to reverse the current keybinding because then anyone using TMS/DMS buttons will also have their bindings reversed. Just give us an TGP zoom keybinding and we can do what we want with it. Not a major bug or game breaking, but would be nice to have eventually.
  5. The problem is that there is no TGP zoom keybinding, it is using the radar elevation HOTAS binding. I have it set to the coolie button on throttle. So I have the same issue, always pressing the wrong way to zoom in/out. The solution is to map to either TMS or DMS buttons (too late for me as I already have them memorized for TDC/weapon select) OR Give us an option in settings to map TGP zoom The difference between using joystick or throttle buttons is on the joystick it is natural to push up to increase tgp zoom/radar elevation AND push down to decrease elevation/zoom tgp out, while on throttle you are actually pulling up and pushing down on the button which feels inverted for the TGP zoom.
  6. Pretty much. Think of PP as being done after/during mission briefing via data cartridge (maybe we will get it at one point???) TOO would be done during the mission using the TGP The way it's implemented in game is "kind of" backwards. Prior to getting the TGP, TOO used waypoint coordinates where as PP mode is added on the fly.
  7. you just reminded me to get into the ME to save new F18 loadout with the TGP!
  8. although haven't tried it in a while, when vehicles are in the forest with collidable trees, you can set delay to avoid bombs and mavs detonating with the initial collision with the trees.
  9. What do you mean giving up on CA?? Do you mean remove CA from the game? Wags posted a while back that CA was being worked on. And with the annoucnement of the DC I can't see how they would decide to get rid of CA.
  10. It would be silly if they didn't. Although no word on it yet, I can't imagine the DC without CA.
  11. I wonder if it would work with a 2 position switch or caps lock.. so you don't have to hold it.
  12. Reaper, Avenger, Heron for fixed wing, long endurance combat UAV Firescout, Scheibel Campcopter for rotor UAV X47 or the Boeing ones for stealth Each one is useful in its own way.
  13. It's been like that since day 1. You always have to have engines turned off. every module everytime.
  14. just to be sure, your engines are off right?
  15. there is no problem. when you are kicked to spectator no mp server wants you in the game to see what is going on. BF uses this to stop ghosting. You also asked three different times on the BF discord and you got an answer three times. It's not a bug nor something to change
  16. isn't this a server option? server admins are the ones implementing it.
  17. In earlier Wag's videos he had an Alpha build that had F16, MI24 Afghanstan, Syria modules but no AH64:( so that means it possibly isn't in development yet . Definitely day one purchase , maybe in a couple of years.
  18. It's my fault actually because I am not spending enough time learning all the systems as my time in the hornet has been rather limited due to work.
  19. Yes it does thanks! Is this in the new revised manual? I don't have it yet (is it available as a download yet?) and chuck's newest guide doesn't go into this detail.
  20. Now I'm really confused. So when I turn on the HMD the radar automatically goes to HMD boresight mode and is no longer searcher according to what my radar screen is displaying and will infact slew according to my helmet orientation??
  21. I'm not understanding this. JHMS has nothing to do with radar. It's just a HUD repeater and can (currently) only work with sidewinders sensors. how does it affect radar ranges???? Ah NM I understand now what you meant.
  22. make sure you RWR is on
  23. Let me re-phrase, GBU31-38 and CBU 103-105 get their data directly from the INS so once it gets aligned it should show ALN GRDY.
  24. The weapons themselves do not need alignment, INS does and starts alignment when EGI is turned on. Full alignment is 4 minutes. "FAST" alignment is 2 minutes (I believe) but I do not know how this affects precision because I always do full alignment. From the manual it does indicate accuracy will be greatly diminished using FAST align. Better off waiting the extra 2 minutes to get the WCMDs on target. If you have landed from a sortie and load up new WCMDs you do not need to re-align either.
  25. I think it happens mostly to specific areas of the world and from specific ISPs. I do get it sometimes, but the better way to load a server is through IP which is always displayed in the server browser or copy it on your desktop. Load up MP browser enter ip even before it finishes to load the server browser and you are golden. It will actually load quicker than clicking on the server in the browser (possibly because it bypasses ED Network and connects directly to the server).
