Hi All. I have also come across this issue with the AH-64 and it occours when taking control from or giving control to the AI system using R-ALT+J and happens with a Hot Start, checked on the caucasus map no mods or tweeks installed, I will try a few more methods to see if happens consistantly, please find attached a couple of tracks showing the issue, hope this helps. Browser is Firefox latest version, also the same on Microsoft Edge, Inet security in use, Windows upto date. Hope the above info helps.

Hi Chuck. Just a quick update, tried to download the MiG-21 guide from the DCS forum links and I am getting Error 404, I checked another aircraft guide and it connected to download link ok, hope this helps, as always keep up the good work.

Hi Frederf. I appreciate the reply and agree with you if I were adding a 2nd missile to the same pylon, but what I am talking about is adding a 2nd identical weapon complete with all the same mounts, ejectors etc to the opposite wingtip in effect mirroring the stores.

Now I'm no maths genius by any means, but when you add 2 identical numbers it should double the value or am I missing something. Now for the point of this post, in Mission Editor if you select the payloads selector, let us use the A-10C for example, If you install an AIM-9L on the wing tip it changes the weapons weight by 256 lbs, so my simple logic says if I load an identical weapon on on the opposite wing tip position thats another 256 lbs thats 2x256 =512 lbs, thats what my maths says, and yet the result in the weapons total weight has increased by a total of 509 for the two missiles from the no missiles weight, this weight difference varies from weapon to weapon. I first found this discrepancy on the F-14 because I was making a weight calculator to suss the landing weights post mission on the return to the boat, and was comparing to in SIM weight calculations, so far it affects, F-14, A-10A, A-10C, FA-18C, AV-8B, I have also checked it with metric units and the fault is still present so in theory units conversion isnt a factor , checking continues, your opinions on this would be appreciated.

Hi All. My issue is with using the Marianas Map offline, I get "The following DLCs are not authorized and will be disabled: Mariana Islands", but when I'm online I have no issue with accessing the Map, hope this helps. Happy Bug Hunting. Crowman.

Hi all. After trawling the reports for the Mi-24 I've been unable to find an entry about the "view transpose" controls, this is listed in the controls under AI Aiming I think it was, despite several attempts involving erasing and rebuilding control sets I am still unable to get it working, any hints would be appreciated or am I just being thick. Hi All. After release of the Mi-24 I installed and tested in Open Beta with few issues. However when I updated Stable to latest and attempted to install Mi-24 I had the same message, following Flappies above post, I tried using the ingame updater, still the same, so backed up user folder and removed and allowed SIM to rebuild the files, then restarted SIM. Mi-24 installed no problem, I havent got round to copying controls etc for other modules yet as mostly using OB version, Hope this helps. Happy hunting. Crowman.

Hi All. Following update to v 2.7.1.7029, I have been unable to access the ME via the GUI limited access via keyboard shortcuts seem to work, have tried repairs, renewing User file, any tips would be appreciated, no Mods are installed. Cheers Crowman.

Hi All. Here's one for you, A while a go I was looking around at whats been changing witin the guts of the sim and I found the model for the P-51B plus some other files for it but no livery files that I can find though, future plans? or abandoned poorer child?, it would be nice as an add-on to the P-51 Module or the "TF-51". Hi Everyone. Quick update for you regarding my issue with offline mode, after being offline with the fallback mode, came back on the forum and saw Bigneweys post glad its not a problem, so I fired up the sim again and offline working as normal, only thing I can think of was update working through servers as I noticed the Multiplayer wasnt loading either, before I tried Offline originally, so I will wait a bit longer next time to let the updates circulate. Thanks for prompt response.

Hi All. To Eldur I also had issues when first installed, or so I thought, sorted when I realised there was an Axis for the prop, now got the hotrod rocking, just need to sort my crap piloting skills now, hope this helps.

Hi All Thanks to Ian-C, for mentioning the Update Server Status, I also have noticed this, same status only 3 servers showing as online, any news on this from Skate, as I personally am concerned as to whether its related to the latest Beta issues, which I hoping will get sorted next update??????

Hi All. I'm glad I found this post as I've been trying to work out whats going on with the Beta, after getting the P-47 and Channel and playing around for a while, I then discovered the other issues of which ther seem to be many, not just the lighting issues mentioned, animation on other modules, its just the Beta luckily and I also am able to use the the stable version which is still mostly ok, I have just noticed that out of the 17 update servers, all but 3 are offline, so I would say something has been found and is hopefully being fixed, so I would say dont do any fresh installs of SIM as servers may not cope, do we know if anyone has heard anything from any of the Moderators regarding the Beta issues.

Hi All I can confirm download issue only appears to be with the user file downloads, the other types ie documents, Skin templates, and DCS previous versions appear to unaffected, also it's not just Firefox that is affected also MS Edge as well so I suspect it is a ED issue, some MOD comments on the situation would be welcome.

Hi All Here's one for you I have just completed Win10 update, but stupid me forgot that I had been using DCS in Offline mode before the update and now I cant get back in, I am receiving the message "Cannot exit offline mode due to hardware ID change. Ask for support" Please any suggestions

Hi All Here is an update on my issue, after trawling through pages and pages about keyboard shortcuts, to no successful conclusion, I found the solution by chance. As my Win 10 install is brand new and I am new to that version of windows, I went through step by step what I had done, and found that the pop up message itself was of no real help, but the icon highlighted on the task bar was, the issue was down to software installed at the same time as the Motherboard fan control software, those little tick-box options again, so now the offending program has been removed and the F-14 Jester Menu operates without interruption, hopefully no further issues will occur with the change over of OS versions. It just proves that something that us users may perceive as a possible fault with a module, may actually be to do with something totally unrelated. A quick message to the moderators, if this post is of more use to anyone else somewhere other than here please feel free to relocate it. As always happy bug hunting and continue the good work.

Hi All. I am currently in the process of swapping DCS over from Win 7 to new install of Win 10, so far Basic DCS Beta installed and working ok, now starting to swap over modules. First one the F-14 all looked ok until it came to using the jester menu to change the radio when I received a windows message about screen capture or something like that, any suggestions/advice from the community.
