  1. Zukenburg is a detriment to society and I refuse to support FB in any way, shape, or form.
  2. I loved my rift CV1. Its too bad really, I'll never buy a FB product.
  3. Clock speed is really all that matters here. The new tech in the 10900 is not likely to give you any more than a couple FPS. I'd go with a 9900K, OC it, and care on. It'll be less expensive now and with overclocking, as capable as the 10900 (specifically to DCS).
  4. You won't gain any substantial perfromance buying a 10900. Its all about clock speed. You can save a few bucks buying a 9900K and overclock. Air cooling has improved greatly if your not into water. There were improvements in the 9900 that makes it a solid chip. I use mine for cad as well as some editing so it made sense for me. As a dedicated DCS machine, I did see improvement over my 4790K of course, but not as much as you might think. A SSD is far more important than the latest chip for load times. If you can get high Ghz RAM, it'll help with high load missions.
  5. The vast majority of buttons and switches are listed on the same page as the panel. There are specialized ones that they don't have such as the jettison stores however 90% of what you need is there. It will of course require some time on your end to put it all together.
  6. I used to buy to support, the Hawk cured me of that.
  7. The systems are classified, therefore no info is available to accurately model them. What your asking for is a decade out, at least.
  8. The reason you don't hear much from customers about the product is because we're busy flying. Its awesome, works very well and has more than enough buttons to keep anyone happy. I sold my TM and Virpil stuff after I got the Winwing.
  9. Have you downloaded the MFG calibration tool and run it?
  10. Thats up to NVIDIA. https://developer.nvidia.com/vrworks/graphics/vrsli
  11. SLI is not supported. Vulcan will allow for it, however ED will need to choose to implement it.
  12. Its a 5 way on the Winwing. I believe however that the real deal does not move left as noted prior.
  13. I doubt its worth the investment. The Core speed is just over the 9900K and you can't even come close to maxing that chip out yet.
  14. Load times are decreased, game performance is not increased. I've had an M2 NVME for better than a year. Your mileage may vary but I doubt it.
  15. I certainly understand what you are trying to do. Keep in mind that with my testing I saw no change, 0 FPS loss using RSMapper. It also auto loads so there is no hassle with it. Best of luck with the programming, it does represent an interesting challenge.
  16. RSMapper makes all of this super easy.
  17. Sure VR will always lag 2D, however, if ED decided to implement SLI which is from what I understand one of the many tools it offers, we could see at minimum, an ability to sustain higher frame rates.
  18. It may be viable for single player however it would be a tough one for online groups. When you consider what the cost is to an individual starting out in this hobby and then add the required modules for terrain/aircraft/carriers, yet another paid module can make or break it in some cases.
  19. I would very happily take a copy of that. I seriously started looking at doing this myself last week and your file could take a lot of the foot work out of it for me.
  20. More money gone. Looking forward to the map.
  21. Kinda sounds like your getting out of view of your external sensor if you have one, or blocking the the sensor on your headset. Which VR device do you use?
