That's the same version I now have, and it appears to work okay in my Beta game, but I have not tested everything yet. I suspect you may have a conflict with another Mod, but I dont know what that might be. Have a look in your log file and see if you can id any errors, that might give you a clue. I believe there is a navigation mod that does not work with the A29, it could be anything like that, something that affects the mod or adds to its functionality. I have lost track of all the add on's, there are so many now and I don't use them. Another option is to remove anything you suspect might be conflicting, its a bit hit and miss but it is often the only choice you have left when all else fails. Post your log file on here, somebody might spot an error.

What I did was scroll down to where it says "Download Latest Release", that's the one I got 2 days ago and that works. It does not have a version number after it. If you look at the lines of descriptions above it, one line for Bin says a new DLL for 2.8, so I'm guessing that is the fix.

stolzy - go to page 1 and then to the github link, get the latest updated version that works in 2.8.

If you recollect some of the earlier posts you will see that I described this problem way back in Sep and offered the .dds 5 files up for both the main texture file and the cockpit. My aim was to see if we could improve performance and It did indeed improve mine, significantly, but only one other person responded so I removed the link to free up space in my Dropbox. I still have that zip files somewhere if I can find it again.

Making improvements to the Sea King Crew - with many thanks to Urbi who redid a heap of skins for me to work from, new roughmet and new normal textures for everything, and updated a couple of the non UK skins as well, many thanks mate. I have done the UK skins myself with slight changes to his work to reflect current and not so current aircrew clothing and helmets. Issues - All four crew members are taken from the same texture files, so they all look the same. I decided to work on the basis that the crewman in the opening door was the most visible, so thats the skin I have used. The SH3H Helmet is a different pattern to the Westland model and takes its textures from different texture files, so I have done those as well for the 'Junglie' sea Kings. I will release these as an update, on here, when they are done. -
Radium: I believe if you could get this working in DCS many would be delighted to see it, and they would use it. Its a huge project for your first but I wish you all the luck and hope you find enough interest amongst the membership.

I'm using version 0.05 released 23 Jul 2022 and its working fine in my Beta. I have just looked on page 1 of this thread and that appears to be the most recent update. My Beta is up to date. OR, am I confused and we are talking about another Tucano ? If the answer to that question is Yes then my apologies, if its No then it is working.

Nice work Neo, like it. 1st draft of the RCN version. Not happy with it, needs a lot more work. The tail is badly stretched on both sides and the texture distorted, I am finding it impossible to make the DANGER sign for the tail, so that may not be added. Its a different airframe to the RCN aircraft and some adjustments will have to be made to fit things in where they might not actually fit all that well, its a bit of a game !!! -
Not perfect, font is slightly incorrect and I had to allow for stretching on the model.

Sorry - Dropbox are trying to force me to buy a yearly package and I dont intend to pay that kind of price, so they have blocked my account. I have a free 2GB package which is more than enough for what I want, I will try to restore that. -

Okay - Here is my heavily doctored version of your super MOD, with all my new liveries. Its a big file now but I have reduced the textures to just .dds files, so that should help with downloading it a bit. The static aircraft are now in the Helicopters drop down in the ME, folded blades and open blades, you cant find them under the structures option any more. That list is alfa numeric (normally, but not always) so the westlands stuff tends to drop to the bottom of that list, if you cant see it beside the sikorsky look below it. NOW - This works flawlessly for me in my Beta game, but Oban had trouble getting the liveries to show up with this version yesterday, he found that he had to move all of the aircraft .lua files from the database folder and drop them in beside the entry.lua, which is where most other mods have them, and that solved the problem. I have no idea why that happened for him in that way because mine are still in the database folder as you will see, and mine works perfectly, but if you have an issue try that first. Link broken - -

This is the last one ... I'm taking a break from modding for a wee while. Here is the complete set with all the latest updates to them, minor changes, better soot markings etc etc etc . Delete the previous versions and use these. When I joined the Corps the RN was just phasing out the naval Whirlwinds, and you are right, they were bloody useless. I was on 845 and 846 Sqns when we flew Wessex 5's and their payload wasnt all that great either, they actually led to the Land Rover Company developing the Lightweight Land Rover specifically for 3 Cdo Bde , so that we Bootnecks could air lift them ashore from the Carriers, a normal LR SWB/GS was far too heavy even stripped down to the bare bones. I had moved back into the Bde when the Sea Kings arrived so never got to play with those. Actually learned my MAOT/ATC job partly on RAF Puma's, we liked those beasts, good payload. My first helo was the wee Sioux, we used them as airborne FAC platforms. Happy days. -

The glass issue is resolved, it was my version of the mod, I had screwed it up, now fixed. Year and years ago I saw a dark blue RN Sea King with dayglo panels, might have been on HMS Ark Royal IV or HMS Eagle, but I have never been able to find an image of it. They moved on to the light sea grey airframes after that and used those up until the death of RN Air Sea Rescue. Decided to do it anyway: mmarques - I will try an Aussie skin next. -

I only realsied last night that I have been rendering the glass incorrectly on my skins, Eight Ball is sorting me out on that and I will eventually redo all of my skins again with better looking glass, it will take a little time but I will get there. Nothing wrong with the skins otherwise, keep using them for now, I'm always tweeking stuff.
