Is anyone else finding that on the loadout screen, the TER is missing but the weapons are present? Or is it just me and my clunker of a PC? -
It would appear that the RAZBAM Lightning project has been shut down, unfortunately, but thank you for your reply, Rudel.

Absolutely Extrajanero, exactly my thoughts regarding the Lightning, etc. Regards to the early Jag INS, you are spot on Sir, I second your praise of Marconi and Ferranti.

Hello Fromthedeep, by EEL mentioned in your post am I correct in assuming that would be RAZBAM's Lightning? What classification issues arose? Apologies for my ignorance here. Many thanks.

SlimJim, absolutely. The Tornado... IDS to GR... Well... That is a tall order for me personally. Perhaps a 3rd party mod to replace the Cerberus pod for a Skyshadow would be a good start. I have been roughing it with UK skins on the AV8 (still most definitely the US variant) and the Hornet to try and imagine a poor man's Jag, . The F-4J would be something, that's for sure. To have a Bucc in DCS would be my idea of absolute heaven. I will take a nose around for the Jag mod, thank you for the heads up there. I am extremely grateful to all the mod creators out there for giving us what we have, so a BIG thank you to all of you. I have no problem with waiting, as this is the nature of the beast, just I am surprised that after so many years away from DCS I came back with the hope that we would be looking at something British by now. Thank you very much for your reply, SlimJim, and look forward to the mystery announcement.

Thank you Yurgon, I did notice the Tornado, alas it is the German IDS variant, quite different from the UK GR1. Guys, I was merely casting the net to see if anyone was creating or considering creating mods or modules for UK equipment, I think it would be a huge positive for DCS. Thanks everyone for looking at this post, I do appreciate any and all responses.

Hello to all. Please forgive me if this question has been asked previously, I am a DCS returnee after several years away from the sim. My question is: other than the Scimitar, are there any mods in the works for cold war British aircraft such as the Fightning (E.E Lightning) Jaguar GR, Tornado GR1, Buccaneer, Canberra, etc? As a "maturing" Brit and a product of the 60's, 70's and 80's I was always frustrated that the UK's military aircraft were poorly represented in DCS considering the HUGE presence in the aviation annals of history. If anyone can give a heads up to any Mod I would be extremely grateful, as this would keep my interest in DCS peaked. Many thanks in advance.

Hello to everyone reading this post. I am returning to DCS after a few years away and as usual, find myself diving into the ME. I am attempting to create a weapons range on the Caucasus map and trying to remove trees from the range area. The issue I am experiencing is that the triggers are not working and the trees are not being removed once the flight is started. If any of you would be kind enough to look at the pictures I have attached and either confirm that my trigger settings are correct thus there is a bug or explain to me where I am going wrong I would be extremely grateful. If this problem has been raised elsewhere in the forum I would be obliged for a link to the post. I am running DCS Open Beta version 2.8.4.38947. Many thanks in advance. P.S. As an aside: does anyone know how to remove the SRS voice text in the lower right of my DCS screen?

The internal button / throttle noise is down right irritating in my single opinion and breaks immersion, very unrealistic which drives me round the proverbial pole. Rather than complaining about it I wouldn't mind finding a way to disable them.

Then you are obviously after a Lightning T.5 or T.55 ;) :D My list, a short one, in order of preference: Buccaneer S.Mk.2C - If the Navy version is brought along to us then we need at the very least the "Ark" to go with it. Jaguar GR1 /3 - Who doesn't like a puss cat? Lightning F6 or T5 - The T5 great for nudging your multiplayer mate and saying "we are out of gas!" Torndao Gr1/1a - Forget the GR4 guys, its way too recent for DCS - If it don't swing then it ain't worth a thing. Just my two penneth.

If you cant find it closer to the Netherlands we have it here in the UK: https://shop.newgatesimms.com/product/nyogel-767a/

The Royal Air Force stenciling is way too big but otherwise looks pretty good. Perhaps a Squadron crest on the tail fin?
-
Which of these aircraft would you most likely buy?
Tengah replied to InTrustWeThrust's topic in DCS Core Wish List
We didn't fly the 111. :) It was considered and even ordered for the Royal Navy but then cancelled due to ongoing technical delays and cost over runs but otherwise the British never got their hands on the Vark. For me its the venerable Tonka GR1 all the way! -
So... Airbus keep going and last for years where Boeing are always at the Gas Station and in the Workshop?
-
Absolutely Highwayman! Jag would be a nice one, or perhaps the Buccaneer.
-
I assigned the TACAN rotaries to my Keyboard number pad: 7 for Rotary 1 up, 1 for Rotary 1 down 9 for Rotary 2 up, 3 for Rotary 2 down If that makes sense. Works very well for me.

F-16 defo thumbs up! -
None of the above. F-105D Thud is my Primary choice, but also the Hawker Siddely Buccaneer S2 and the E.E. Lightning F6. The latter would be a very interesting DCS project, A2A + The limited A2G options.
