Yeah, that's why people have offered to place the server somewhere more stable if I'm not mistaken. Either way, it's pretty much empty now because no one can stay connected. I know the BS guys will do what they can but from what the guys who've looked into have said, they may have to move the server to some place more stable, unless I just misread everything. Whatever the case may be with the server being unstable, I'm grateful for the work that's been put in and am hopeful things can be figured out.

I don't know how much you've been on this round, but like I said before, I've been on everyday, all day and it's pretty much been at least 2-1 in Reds favor which is no fun for us Reds.

I am praying this get this figured out soon. It sucks waiting a month to fly this, just to get on and lost 3 of your 4 lives to the server dying, not to mention is looks like this round could be over any minutes already. Well, I'm off to wait 4 hours to get lives back so I can lose them to server crashes again. lol

I've been on everyday since it started back up, all day until late evening. Twice I've seen close numbers, most of the time it's been 2-1 or worse.

Exactly. All of the default Black Shark functions work in all of the servers, including the data link so what exactly are you talking about not working? I'm going to guess that you are wanting to use LEAVU which is considered a cheat by most since it gives you capabilities that you wouldn't normally have in your aircraft. I seriously doubt you're going to find any of the more popular servers allowing things like that. I mean, a KA50 with 360 radar...

Thanks for the explanation. It's become unplayable for me. I've literally spent more time joining, getting disconnected before I can takeoff and trying to reconnect than actually getting up in the air. I think I got a total of two flights in while trying to connect ALL day since this morning until 10pm tonight. I hope they are willing to move the server to someplace more stable. On top of it all, I'd be surprised if this round isn't over by tonight or sometime tomorrow. This setup has things so lopsided that Red has over run Blue in about 3 days. I'd hate to have it end and have to wait another month for this.

Just got kicked out 6 times in a row before I could even take off. Decided to just give up. I see that people are doing a trace and saying it has something to do with where things are being routed but if that's the case, why wasn't it this bad in all the previous rounds? It's never been this bad.

Thanks Microvax for going through all the trouble to look into it. All I can say is that myself and most everyone I'm flying with on TS/SRS on the red side are having more disconnect problems than we did in past rounds. Whatever it is, I hope someone can clean it up. It really is pretty bad this time.

What's going on with the server disconnects this round? It's pretty bad, either single players getting disconnected or mass groups. It varies from 10 min apart to an hour or two. Also, most people seem to have a significant decrease in FPS this round as well. I saw Greg say in the other thread that things were changed that were supposed to have helped with connection issues and general performance. From what I've seen and from the other 20-30 people on TS, they are having the same issue of constantly being disconnected. Again, just passing on the info.

DCS in general has gotten so bad with crashing and disconnecting from MP that it's almost not worth messing with in it's current state.

We tested the same day with SR on and off and it made no difference.

RainbowGeorge and I have both noticed this. We've also seen a significant drop in our FPS now that the server is back up. Where we'd normally see 50-70 FPS, we are now seeing 10-20. Also, specifically concerning the Mig 21 we've found a strange bug that has been isolated to this server only. After we've warmed up the radar, as soon as we turn it on FPS drops to 0 and we freeze. It is soon followed by a lost connection to the server. It's only happening here, not on other servers. We've sent the bug to LN but it seems to be a strange server issue as it only is happening on Blue Flag.

Ok, here comes my whine. lol It's not really a whine, just my 2 cents. Although I have had "thoughts" on things before, in the end I'm always fine with how things are set up in Blueflag, although I will admittedly always prefer realism over fantasy setups. That being said, I HATE not being able to fly my Huey on the red side. Just wanted someone to know, carry on. Looking forward to the next round, whenever it starts. :)

You probably need to start a new one...that's what this is for.

If you can't trim the plane into level flight well enough to uncage, something isn't right. I always wait until I'm in flight and trimmed for level flight. It always works out well.

Just join when the server is up, no need to do anything really.

I'm guessing the hotfix isn't out to the public yet? Either way, good job on taking care of it so fast.

At least it's just the 104th, one of many air quakes. lol

Seems like just an odd thing, my buddy and I don't have open beta.

It's happening to me and another I'm flying with as well. I removed mods before the update and tested with and without mods. The crashes are random. I can get into MP but once I start flying for a few minutes I'll CTD.
