Interessant, danke!

Also alles gut in Sachen Grafikkartentreiber
  4. Those are just the players that are currently playing on the multiplayer server and that also includes the servers themselves. The actual number of active players at that point in time is just 328 players (1961-1633=328), although some of the servers could also be directly hosted by players from within the DCS multiplayer menu, so the true number of active players at that point in time is probably a little higher, although barely (maybe 340 players or so). As you can see, this is just a VERY small portion of even just the active DCS players on steam as most DCS players don't play multiplayer and if you just took that screenshot when you posted it, then that was also outside of the MP prime time, which is not on a Wednesday morning (western hemisphere).
  5. Just say "AAA" (spoken: "Tripple A"), as it is Anti Aircraft Artillery.
  6. As @Ivandrov said, it sounds like you set the Refuel Probe Switch to "FUS", meaning only the fuselage tanks will get refueled, which also excludes the internal wing tanks (#6 & #11 in the picture below). Make sure to set the Refuel probe Switch to "ALL".
  8. Thanks, I also came across this one a while ago and noticed that it seems pretty much dead, looking at the commit history and activity on the github, which is why I'm curious if there is anyone who tried to use it recently and can share his experience.
  9. It's the only hurdle that has kept me from switching to Linux on my main PC so far. I've looked into opentrack a while ago, but it doesn't seem to support TrackIR hardware, which I'm currently using for head tracking and would love to continue to use, so I'm curious if there is anyone out there who managed to use TrackIR under Linux.
  10. Are you using any kind of head tracking or VR? If so, how does that work under Linux?
  11. Long alignment is already implemented, but it's not documented in the game manual yet. To do a long alignment you just leave the prepare switch in the off position untill the "NAV READY" light appears (takes about 10-15 minutes) and then you flip the prepare switch ON.
  12. The new/reworked R-27 that came with the FF MiG-29 release update does indeed have severe desync issues, meaning only the client that fired the missile will see its actual flight path. That applies to Tacview recordings too, meaning only the recording fromthe client who fired the missile shows its actual flight path. This desync issue should be fixed in the next DCS update.
  13. Well, there are different kind of people. Some people want to use the best product available to them, while other people just want to use a product that has shiny adds.
  14. I'm fully with you there, but the reality of MP is a different one unfortunately.
  15. Have you ever considered, that laws and restrictions might be different in different countries?
  16. You must be new to public MP?
  17. Why do you think that? The text at the top of your screenshot literally says: "in AREA or POINT track modes".
  18. Da es sich weder um eine Frage noch um eine Antwort handelt ist der Kommentar hier im Thread doch irgendwie etwas fehl am Platz, meinst du nicht? Der wäre hier besser aufgehoben:
  19. If you would have read the thread you would know why that isn't an option for DCS yet:
  20. Huh? Pretty much every game is on Linux now, because of this Proton layer that Valve developed. That means you can play pretty much every game on Linux nowadays (except some competetive multiplayer games that have a kernel level anti cheat protection). It's no longer necessary for game devs to create custom Linux versions of their games. https://www.protondb.com/
  21. Europeans (at least those living within the European Economic Area, which is most of Europe) still get extended support for Win10 for another year for free: https://uk.pcmag.com/migrated-3765-windows-10/160269/microsofts-windows-10-extension-is-now-absolutely-free-in-europe
  22. *1994 In missions taking place prior to 1994 GPS is not available and NAV mode instead of IFA should be used when flying the Hornet.
  23. The only thing that is preventing me from switching to Linux on my Desktop machine is the lack of driver support for sim peripherals like HOTAS, Track-IR or racing wheels that I need for my sim games. If that wouldn't be an issue I would have already switched over to Linux. My notebook, which I also use for some gaming, is already running on Linux. You seem to have missed the past few years of Linux developments, because Valve has set a huge change in motion that allows games to be played on Linux without any kind of additional work needed by the game devs. It's called Proton: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proton_(software) This has caused a massive push for gaming under Linux. Even games that are not made specifically for Linux do now run under Linux thanks to Valve and their Proton tech (see above) that is also driving the Steam Deck handheld. This is the single biggest factor why Gaming under Linux is now quickly becoming much more popular! Because of that you can even play DCS under Linux already! But yeah, there are of course other factors that add to that, like Vulcan that (unlike DirectX) runs natively under Linux.
  24. That's true for the instruments and controls, but I'm not able to understand all the warnings on the warning panel and on the Aekran display if they are shown in Russian, hence I prefer the English cockpit.
