  3. C'est avec plaisir que nous vous informons que suite à l'intégration de nos nouveaux éléments, nous ouvrons les candidatures sur Ka-50, Sa-342, A-10C et Mirage-2000C. Le 131st est une structure d'une cinquantaine de joueurs qui se veut active durant toute l'année tant à son niveau qu'à celui de la communauté francophone, via l'organisation de vols ouverts à tous, la création de chaînes de tutoriels etc. Nous disposons de notre propre server dédié pour DCS, capable d'héberger des missions régulières de 25 à 30 joueurs. Chaque appareil est animé par un ensemble de formateurs, afin de vous donner la meilleure formation possible, quel que soit votre niveau, même les grands débutants. L'ambiance est bon enfant, nous cherchons le réalisme en vol tout en sachant déconner. Hey Brix, how are you ? :p I followed half the conversation so it may have nothing to do with your problem. 1) NVG switch is for UV lights, currently broken even if it is moddable to put them back. (values to be changed in mainpanel.lua) 2) NVG always worked without batteries. 3) Opened door while engines started doesn't work anymore, you need to set your radio on intercom. 4) If T/O from a base, you need to put a coalition vehicle on it or you won't be able to ask anything to GC. If T/O from FARP, well you know the music, you have a whole bunch of vehicles to put. Perhaps is it the missing piece for you there. Bye ;) Nicolas
  6. Yup simply put it to client, I won't guarantee that everything will work fine (lag issues cause a lot of units). Still it should work. But if you die, you die, you'll have to restart the mission.

  8. Yes it would be a nice thing to put back this ability. Even if the fame is ugly without it, at least it is far more playable at night.
  9. 1) VRS is the simmer holy graal and that's cool but IRL I never talked to a Gazelle pilot who experienced it, including a 5000 h pilot who who's job was to carry slingloads in the Alps. So if he never met it during his 5000 h at 3000 m, I think that it may not happen so easily. 2) VRS is implemented and I can confirm it to you as long as I participated in the test sessions, and most of the beta testers are from my squad, it is simply hard to get and more than all, you get out from the ring very very fast so you may hardly notice it. Still, promise, it is implemented. Of course you can consider that I am an evil slave of Polychop, but my question would be : Why ? I am not paid (If they paid me then, it could be different) :D 3) Your assertion tends to make me think that you don't think that the blade shape of an helicopter really matter on his aerodynamics, which feels a bit the same as if I said : Wings on a plane don't matter... There are as many differences between the Gazelle rotor shapes and Huey one than between a P-47 and an F-16 ^^ I don't blindly defend devs but here, sincerely, you are wrong... Nicolas

  12. Guys don't focus on the way of asking, simply give an answer to the main question. I don't care either if Hanab has a job or not (I never thought I would write such thing on this forum lol), and no, Hanab, they are not on the Bahamas beach, they are not British, the main coder is at the Reunion. Still as long as it's where he lives, he's just a lucky guy :p It is simply and very objectively that many times, a bug or part of a bug can only be solved with the ED coders intervention, as long as 3rd party devs cannot edit the main DCS code. Of course, making this a generic excuse wouldn't be fair, but I can garantee you (because beta testers are from the squad I lead) that they are at work every afternoon with Patrick, the main coder. (omg I'm too part of the mafia... Still I try to remain objective, I'm a kamov guy, the Gazelle doesn't interest me and I'm not -longer- paid.). This is the way of working of 3rd parties : you add a custom product to an already existing basis which doesn't belong to you. About the communication policy, it is highly suggested to go ask your questions on the Poly discord. Even it may not seem normal for you, there are very few devs and they are all working on both Gazelle and other projects, so they leave the Discord ON on their phone, but they rarely come here, except in the bug section, as long as they don't have so much time to spend with communication. And I agree with you, I would be fool if I didn't : a lack of communication is not a good thing, but when you own a little company, you can communicate or develop, but rarely and hardly both at the same time. So communication lack is not good, but they choose to work instead of talking, and that's quite all. Contrarily to what some people reading this may think, DCS is not a huge market, you don't earn a lot, so you have to focus on work, that's kinda all. And be sure (really) that they are aware of some bugs, and as long as it's their work and they tend to be proud of their baby, it doesn't please them to see that something isn't working properly. When you don't see the issue solved, it is simply that it doesn't depend on them, because for the camera, it would actually be a pretty easy fix.     Hi, Currently it works for me. Have you well set your HUD in night mode ? Switched on the Flir on the lower panel ? Still the FLIR effect on the beta is a bit broken. Edit : Lol, simultaneous answer.

  15. Hi :) So currently the Caucasus moutains look very nice thanks to the vas amount of trees "hiding" the mesh and texture. My main concern about the Persian Gulf map, but too about the NTTR or the future Afghanistan map, is that because there are not trees, mountains don't really look like mountains. IRL there are rocks, surface is far from being smooth like on the current mountains. In those conditions, why not creating rocks templates just like the trees ones ? You create 10-15 types of rocks (which mustn't be the hardest thing to do once you are able to create very beautiful trees on the Caucasus), and put them on mountains/rocky desert areas. Helicopter fight in mountains/rocky areas is mostly hunting guys hiding behind rocks, it was shown in Afghanistan, but too recently in Soudan, or in the Tigharghâr sector in Mali. I say this because currently, on the Persian gulf, flying in Helicopter in the Iranian mountains feels like flying between two generic (well made) textures. And I must say that if Afghanistan map was the same kind, I would personally nor buy it, nor recommend it, which is sad, as long as creating few rocks isn't probably a big deal once you're able to create a very realistic copy of Dubai. ;) I hope that this will be heard, Sincerely, Nicolas

  17. Hi, Just to warn the ones among you who are used to play it. In order to definitely get rid of the "meatboy landing on your face" issue, Meatboy won't land anymore on the FARP on next versions and will simply orbit over your head. I tell you so you don't think there is an issue ;) Currently here are the things I'm going to fix : - Meatboy killing everyone when landing on the FARP because between two updates, he gets drunk. - Miz5 : modifying a bit the trees so visual from WP9 is a bit easier (not too much) - Miz9 : Russian Mi-8 crashing in first village. - Miz10 : bad placement of units on the football stadium If you meets any other bug, please write them here so I can include them.   20. I don't know, there shouldn't be any kind of problem. I mean, campaign missions are simple miz files. Perhaps try to set the player gazelle as another helicopter type in the editor, then put it back on SA-342M, and save. Nicolas

  24. Looks like there are some random issues with the FFB sticks since last update. Main problem is that testers cannot reproduce them. (Even if some have FFB) So please first make yourself sure that it's not a simple mistake on your own, then if not the case provide as many infos as you can, mods, stick, version etc etc. Nicolas
