  1. Not aware about CH Manager, however you have a better (maybe) alternative through the powerfull freeware app RS Mapper: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205492&fbclid=IwAR3olgUKqJt7XcOf6LXRWnTXeYk8Qf3phhstsBW9MHZ0hEcwrx0IctYle-U
  2. This little utility is here from some time but I have missed it till recently. So that I just want to thank to Avantar for his great work! This is a kind of software that cannot be missed by simmers.
  3. A template available to all of us will be even better. Is that possible @OctopusG?
  4. Looking forward too

I flew it a bit. Seems for me that is not needed any trim as looks it flies pretty straight out of the box. Its turn rate is also fantastic good... and very hard to stall it. All these makes me wonder how accurate is the FM.. I am not saying it is not true how is modeled, I just don't know how close to reality it is. The systems however are modeled very nice.... and the landing gear ... well it requires to read the manual to operate them :)
  6. +1
  7. This server is absolutely great. Everyone can join at its own pace, no constraints or anything like that. Very animated server, even is more AI for now, but it gives a real feeling to be part of that time. I would highly recommend this server to anyone.
  8. Yes... maybe on the way... will see... Untill then however, Christen Eagle is a nice toy ;). Yak52 as well...
  9. None for now...
  10. @Wags: could you please let us know what is your perception for black levels with Rift S? There are a lot of comments on the internet complaining about the LCD implementation which lacks in black levels compared with OLED display. However while this might be true, I am still wondering if this is really visible within DCS environment. Thank you
  11. While MAC could be a good opportunity to increase DCS World users mass directly, it can also add a new level of exploits by having easier to manage planes. How wil youl be able when you see a Mig21 for example, to diferentiate if it is the full module or the easy one? this could add an extra level of complexity which I don't think will be well received by older DCS fans. On the other hand some tips could be left on their modules withh messages like... for full features go to DC World" :). This will also need to have an affordable price to counter the quite high number of arcade games which are at 1999 level of play but with some better graphics. Again, in this context MAC might be able to cannibalize DCS World by adding a large number of planes at a lower price, so that no one will be interested anymore in full flavour modules. These are some aspects that I think ED also assessed and even they've been rushed last year to announce it, they understood the cons of integration with DCS and they had act accordingly.
  12. This is my understanding also. MAC3 is a standalone game addressed to those new comers who are overwhelmed by DCS complexity. It will not be integrated in the DCS World, and I think this is a fair approach.
  13. As I got the throttle unit recently, I went into a similar kind of issue on my side with one 4 way hat. It was lacking the feedback of click on several positions. I found out that solving this is very simple. The root cause is that there is not enough room for button rod to move completely free. The button can be easily extracted from the hat rod ... then using a bit of sand paper i just round a bit the edges. Just so simple.
  14. This platform might be good for main stream / low resource requirement games. Also, even internet speed is now increased indeed, it is not yet uniform and this will be another question mark. This might be ok, but same as VR.... need another 15-20 years to be cooked. It was said that Desktop will disappear, but now 15 years later, desktop still stands strong... and nobobody discuss about this extinction. STEAM have failed already on a similar concept... but Google might be smarter and start with PAcMan.. More than that, from commercial point of view, how happy companies like Intel/AMD/Nvidia would be... I think not too much, hence not much support. New tech to replace them? Maybe... but will that worth the developing cost? These are crazy times about automation, cloud etc... (sort of back to '70s Mainframes) ... digitizing everything... even maybe our holly bread... they are ready to say and propose anything during this race where the winner is too far way from finish line, if any finish exists. I think that personal computing will remain strong and is a good cash cow for all companies.
  15. SU25 definitely need a revamp. One of my favorite by far... both variants A and T
  16. Thanks a lot Sinusoid for this tip. Is this working for export to BC7 as well?
  17. Gimp does not have yet this plugin. However I found a good workaround. Use this online tool to convert your dds to whatever you want to be used for GIMP. You can use this tool even to export your final version back into Intel DDS
  18. Ok, so... with no answer received I built form scratch a template: https://drive.google.com/open?id=17PCkt6DBkhCmg2Vn_2rqSCiMOXLTS5s4 Wondering why I cannot upload it on DCS user files.... after upload file is completed it remains hanged and not visible unde "My files"
  19. @Kochrachon, in these days were internet speed have greatly increased, SSDs are larger and cheaper, I think the most important think ED should focus is networking code and its optimization. For Arma3 for example in order to host a 3rd party map on a dedicated server you need to have that map (several gigs of space) physically on that server too. Similar for units mods. Nobody bothered with creating let's say frame only maps, to have it only for server run. Also they need to focus on making maps available for dedi server ... these being another very important bit to help community which is currently WIP ... hence good thing.
  20.
  21. A keyboard with multimedia buttons is all that you need.
  22. Blasphemy !!! :))
  23. How many axis players are still needed? I think I could come up together with one more pilot... making so 2 of us...
  24. Thanks for the link Birk. I was hoping someone could have even a rough template I can start from. I might try to adjust it to fit properly, I just don't want to start from scratch... Ultimately I will start build a template... but by no mean will be very precise if the "wires" will be missing. And yes... if somebody will have at least the "wired" layer it will still be great.
