200-250 is maximum ping allowing fair game not because of warping but mainly because it causes inaccurate aiming of course, players with high ping do not suffer from it, they have significant advantage against players with lower ping...

self retracting flaps with NO hydraulic pressure
saburo_cz replied to saburo_cz's topic in Bugs and Problems
but it not seems quite plausible/likely to original flight P-51D manual, where is recommended to lower flaps in case of hydraulic pump failure and there is not any note about possibility to self flaps retract... It seems to be a bug. -
Ta-152H-1 used GM1, or high Bfs model like Bf-109G-1 Fw 190D-9 never (may be some experimental D-9 plane but do not think so)

Stats are broken? they do not counting flights, kills...

there is not TWR controled movement on airports on WWII PvP servers, or exactly no one player observe the TWRs comands You just should look around yourself and be careful. some players take off from taxiway or across RWY....

Just after tale off, my engine stop / crash
saburo_cz replied to Cthulhus's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
If your engine ran with manifold pressure above 1,45ATA without MW50 On, it could happen. Or, did you set the automatic pitch control to On? -
Would be nice to see some pictures upcoming Bf 109G6, Fw 190A6/8 :music_whistling: please ;)

self retracting flaps with NO hydraulic pressure
saburo_cz replied to saburo_cz's topic in Bugs and Problems
if they are so easy to move, they should fall down after landing and stop plane, but they do not... no, it is not that -
Hello, i have problem with flaps which retract when hydraulic pressure fails to zero during flight. My engine died (propeller stops) during flight, but fortunately i had altitude to glide to home airport. I lowered flaps to 30 degrease and i still had hydraulic pressure, so i downed landing gear normally and flaps suddenly went UP... My hydraulic pressure was zero when they started to retract. I tried it of-line, and when i stopped engine during flight, i lowered flaps and then downed landing gear, no problem i still had hydraulic pressure thanks to rotating engine. I had to lose hydraulic pressure by Hydraulic release knob and immediately after i did it, flaps started to retract. It is the same for TF-51D. Now i know why i lost several lives during emergency landing without engine...

Hello, main fuel valve seems to be open after plane respawn even fuel cock handle is in OFF position. I can start the engine with fuel cock handle in OFF position and the engine runs "forever" with main fuel valve close. But, when the engine is running and i open valve and then i close it back (OFF position) the engine will quiet soon. What is right i think, because i stop fuel. IMO i can not be able to start the engine when fuel cock handle is OFF. It is the same for DCS 1.5 and 2.0.5

You are completely wrong... The IFF device used by 7th AF was placed instead of battery on the rack mounted on the fuselage fuel tank. And battery was moved in to engine compartment. BUT DCS Mustang has only control box in cockpit from that "new" IFF device and this IFF itself MISSING behind pilot`s armor plate, there is BATTERY (and VHF transceiver), no IFF... Do you really know if DCS Mustang is weighted with battery behind cockpit or in engine compartment? btw. fuselage fuel tank was restricted after WWII, during WWII all Mustangs model D carried it... (with exception TF or WWeary upgraded non combat planes) AND no "late war pacific version" ever existed, it is nonsense, Mustangs from 5th AF or 14th AF underwent different modifications from 7th AF (which only used Uncle Dog device with two antenna masts and moved battery due to advanced and bigger IFF) or from Mustangs used in ETO...
-
AN/ARA-8 (recognizable from two antenna masts) total weight .... 12lbs, no one has chance to recognize any possible change in flight capability... VHF radio was the same, no matter where Mustang was used during WWII, no change here... 7th AF IFF is not probably counted in DCS Mustang, because behind armor plate is battery modeled (behind VHF) and not 7th AF IFF device, no change here again... btw. because of movement battery forward in to engine compartment thanks to bigger new IFF (battery was very heavy box, much heavier than radio devices used in fighters) 7th AF Mustang were slightly better maneuverable, according to pilots from 7th AF, or more pleasant to fly... the tail radar device were not unique device for Mustangs from 7th AF or PTO, Mustangs from ETO used it to, so no change here again... I hope that ED team will check Mustangs coolant logic and work during new possible damage model instead of minor device change. It will bring far more positive result than minor change in cockpit, which barely anyone understand.

Interesting I always wait on ground until oil reach 40°C temperature under 1300RPM and then i do magneto and supercharger check. Only after that i go take off... And i am not only one who was this problem... thanks for response

What is weather setting on server map? It is not default, it is somehow tuned up, isn`t it? Could you set it to default, because this "weird" setting constantly kills P-51 and D-9 engine without any reason... Last example, few minutes before, i climbed with 2700/46inHG with speed above 200MPH and my engine quit at altitude approx. 15k ft. NO WEP used before ant TO power for less than one minute during TO. And this is only last example, it happens very often...

IMO, the best is if you set "Distance Dial" as a axis. If you have on spare. And yes, it is useful, but only if you align your flight path with target`s. If your target does not maneuver too much violently, you will appreciate it. But, it is not mostly useful during wild dogfight.

It is correct now. You should take external fuel tank, that pipe with glass part is connection between external fuel tank and main fuel tank. If you do not have it, it does not show anything. Hold clutch at least 10 seconds, 11 or 12 are better and it will works.

Hi eekz, are you going to switch server to 1.5.6 today? Thanks

Do you change PITCH trim setting to neutral before take-off or do not? Spitfire has preset trim to TAIL HEAVY when spawns.

- old P-51B could be there, but later; any more detailed information about it, please :helpsmilie:

1. there was capsule against humidity, i think 2.Flettner tabs on ailerons were planed, but never used in mas production 5. K-4 were not pressurized, if Bf model was pressurized it got add number 1,3,5...

When i change code on plane (TAIL # in mission editor), numerals in serial number are replace by letters which i use for TAIL #. Instead of MH999 i get MHNNM, for example. Numerals should remain.

Did and it works now correctly. Thank you.

Hi, i have totally dark menu, editor map screen, setting and loading screens. When i go in to plane, it is OK. New beta after reinstall, no mods, no Viggen. I have the same graphic setting for stable. Thanks for any advice.
