  2. If you wait for minimal oil teperature for take off, it is 40°C, oil pressure will not be too hight and you will not have problem. If you start like in "WT" you have problem...
  3. hope it is it and, i have no mods in openbeta last patch.rar

  6. sadly i was only passenger..
  7. Normandy map P-47 Spitfire IX and everything related to WWII comes from ED or 3dr party developers and F-15 (any model)
  8. For every USAAF users except 8th AF...
  9. try key "E" when throttle is moved full forward and you get your 67"inHg
  10. If i remember correctly, speed lost is 8 MPH true speed for 61inHg/3000RPM at low alt, 5 - 15 m above water on default map. Between fully close and max. open oil rad.
  11. IMO, bulges above wheel`s bay are not much suitable for late war Spitfires too ,like above mentioned elevator. They are after war features, i think. These bulges went with changed whell`s axis (not means leg`s axis) more suitable for concrete RWY istead of WWII RWY.
  12. or they just had different safety limits like in plane constructions, for example lightweighted Mustangs P-51F/G
  13. Looks like you first press rudder pedal and then you press steering button. Try first press seering button (and hold it) and after that move rudder, it works for me always.
  14. Only P-51H with V-1650-9 was equiped with ADI, V-1650-9A used in P(F)-51D after war was without it. 72" (75"allowed by Materiel Command) was only for 8th AF operating from England with 44-1 fuel (104/150 octane). Only one user used this setting, but this one is the most known. btw. 8th units operating from European continent during winter 44/45 flew with standard 61/67, because they were suplied with standard fuel 100/130 oct. People want always more....
  15. Hello, i tray to fire rockets in pairs but a can fire only 4 or 6 from 6 or 10 and can not fire rest of them. If i take 6 rockets, i start fire with no.5, set on Rocket Counter, and fire no.5 and no.6. Then i set no.3 and fire no.3 and no.4. Then i set no.1 and i can not fire anything, in any way. Last two rockets remain under wings and no go any way. If i take 10 rockets, start fire with no.9 and fire 9 and 10, then set no.7 and fire 7 and 8, then set no.5 and fire 5 and 6, then even i set everything i can not fire any remains rockets. if i fire rockets no.7,8,9 and 10, by settings no.7, then no.3,4,5,6, by settings no.3, i can not fire rockets no.1 and 2 if i fire rockets no. 7,8,9,10, than no. 5 and 6, then no chance fire rest of them, no.3... Rockets Release Control Switch is set to AUTO. If it set to SINGLE, no problem is here and i cant fire any rocket when i want. Or is here any restriction on firing sequence? Thanks EDIT i forgot add this, it is the same for DCS 1.5 and DCS 2.0
  16. 44-15660 was from block 900 P-51D-15, 44-14853 - 44-15752 D-25 were 1945 planes, no 1944.... D-25 started with S/N 44-72627 according to Malcolm V. Lowe book P-51 Mustang and mustangmustang.com page
  17. Wing type is that difference, only. Both could be LF or HF, it depends on engine type, and both could be CW or classic. I think that E type wings were equiped with underwing bomb racks as a standard. Guns and cannons were explained above.
  18. Big thank you for all players and campaign builder. I enjoyed every moment of this event. We lost but next time we will win :smilewink:.
  19. According to Pilot's Notes it will be very similar, i hope :smilewink:. for instance, page with starting procedure
  20. Hello, when Operation ends, will be here any kind of stats? Like pilot name - No. flights - hours .. etc thanks
  21. Hello, will "Case Blue" run on todays patch? latest is now 1.5.3.52018.61
  22. No, you will start to fire with rocket No.4 and next will be 5, 6, 7... 10 Fire sequence is UP not down. Counter always shows number of rocket which will be fire. So, if you have 10 rockets and you want to fire only 4 of them, you must set number 7. Then you fire 4 rockets, No. 7, 8, 9 and 10. After that, you must set counter back to 1 and fire rest of them.
  23. this myth is not true, wings airfoil thickness remained the same during Mustang A/B/C/D production B/C were faster at high altitude because different engine and lower weigh, due to its engine B/C were slower than D model at low altitude
  24. IMHO i do not think that Uncle Dog was a reason for battery movement, it was so small two boxes with control box and antennas. SCR-695-A is big as battery is or nearly that. I think it was reason for battery movement. Mustangs, block -25, on one picture from factory line look like equiped with air vent for battery, but picture is not perfect... Because of it (and IPC from November 45) I think that this local modification, battery movement, become "factory standard". btw. 75inHg remained only temporally modification for while and one location for info, Iwo Mustangs were -20 and -25 and air vents for battery were at least two different shape, "early" probably designed by local modification centre and "standard" designed by NAA or adopted by NAA perhaps.
  25. only presumptive evidence, photos where air intake for battery vent on L/H nose side or inertia switch behind armor plate is visible.
