  3. Thanks - it is a great campaign to tackle after you do the basic (default) training missions. It focuses on precise flying and incentives to get you to moving around the cockpit a bit quicker. I'm having a great time with it...

  6. Actually - we reviewed it since it is a finished product. I had a good time working through the campaign - a nice job by Armen on putting it together. There are a couple things that could be tweaked, but overall there is good gameplay and some shoulder aching precision flying to be had in the missions. I hope we some more campaigns coming down the pipe for other modules as well... BeachAV8R
  7. I just replayed it once more - landed next to the 102nd helicopter, our character says to unload the cargo, about a minute later the crew chief says "Done, we may take off"..I do not get an F10 selection/choice menu on any other actions. If you follow his instructions and fly to the FARP Otkritka, you do not get a mission passed message.
  8. See below..might help..
  9. Thank goodness you posted this. I had tried this mission about 5 times and failed for various reasons even before getting to Podkova. This morning, I finally cracked the code, got through the whole mission, landed at Pdkova only to not get the MISSION SUCCESS message. I was about to put my fist through my monitor..LOL. Came here, saw your message, respositioned to the south end of the FARP and got the success. Whew! Thanks! BeachAV8R

If you build a Harrier and an LHA - I may never takeoff or land from a land base again.. ;)
  11. Nice job! I'll be using this a lot the next few days..
  12. LOL..after struggling with that for five minutes..thankfully I found this thread. Yeah..that definitely needs to be fixed.
  13. Nice to have collidable trees in NTTR - adds that extra bit of excitement for helos.. [ame] [/ame] BeachAV8R
  14. Thanks - and thanks to Apache600 for letting me take her for a spin. I wish'd I'd had time to fly the F-86 side of the campaign, but couldn't carve out enough time to manage that. I think people will really enjoy this campaign - it works well with the way he worked those old airframes into the modern-ish battlefield.
  15. I agree completely. Though it is a huge leap to say a Pucara might lead to a Falklands Island map and campaign..it is certainly a step. I'd buy it in a second. I've dreamed of a Harrier/Pucara/A-4/Mirage type Falklands scenario for decades... BeachAV8R
  16. Couldn't agree more. Very impressed by the direction this is going.. BeachAV8R
  17. Very sad news. I had flown with him online and corresponded with him when he was working with Baltic Dragon on The Enemy Within. His website design was brilliant.. We lost a good one. BeachAV8R
  18. Thanks guys. I was also exploring another thing...when you have the UPK-23-250 pods mounted to the pylons, I know that the control panel on the canopy bow controls the power, but I would have thought you'd also have to have the PYLON power switch on the right sub-panel on as well for the guns to operate (you don't). So there must be a separate wiring path from the control box above your head to the guns (?).

    Gun safe?

So this might be a dumb question..but once you have loaded the GSh-23L by firing one of the loading cartridges, is the only (and appropriate) way to make the gun "safe" by moving the GSh-23L (GUN) power switch to OFF? BeachAV8R
  20. Dang..that's beautiful. (Still wish I could get an Su-25UTG..LOL..) BeachAV8R
  21. This is a good question. The L-39 would be a nice team player with the Su-25/Su-25T and A-10C as a sort of FASTFAC... I approve of this technique.. Even if it isn't possible in real life - it would be a nice thing to have smoke rockets for this possibility.. BeachAV8R
