  1. Hello, I've the first weapon training mission almost ready, it works like this: It needs more testing, since it has several scenarios within: Air Start or Ground Start, Internal Gun or Internal Gun + Gun Pods, and landing back at the base or exit once ammo is spent. I will now test each case and polish it a bit more, before adding it to the Mission Pack but it should be soon. Cheers, Eduardo
  2. Thanks a lot, I look forward to your release.
  3. here is a video guide, it may be more understandable:
  4. The Mod includes 21 liveries as standard, on User Files I could find just one for this specific Mod (other Mod's liveries most likely wont be compatible): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/es/files/3336896/ maybe you could ask on the developer's Discord, to see if they have more liveries for it: https://discord.gg/split-air-438053935882829824
  5. A long time ago I did a Guide on the OvGME use, nowadays it is obsolete as it pertains to an old version of the Utility, but the Mod packaging part is still about the same, so I restored the images of that section, take a look at it here:
  6. yes, the AV maker should fix their false warnings.
  7. Just out of curiosity, I installed v1.8 of the Mod. It does not came in OvGME-ready format, you need to create the OvGME archive manually: The Mod replaces the M-2000C and cames with just its wallpaper: but it has no instant action missions, nor training. I was a bit dissapointed to find that it doesn't implement the back cockpit. In fact I didn't see much of a difference on the front cockpit either: So, the main difference is the external 3D model ... from my viewpoint its mostly aesthetics: Anyway, just wanted to let you know that the Mod seems to work fine with the current DCS, didn't lost any file. happy New Year, Eduardo
  8. No idea, there is not enough info to venture a guess ... all I can say, is that I use OvGME since way back, and it has never once deleted my DCS install:
  9. Hello and happy new year to all. I have the Gun Strafe Mission almost finished but during testing I found that my handling of the aircraft was a bit ungentle and I experienced a lot of engine flame-outs. So, I realized that Training on how to restart the engine in the air was really needed, so I edited a short mission to teach that skill to the new MiG-21 pilots. I will now finish the Gun Strafing mission and then add both missions together to this Training Pack Best regards, Eduardo
  10. I must admit that I feel disappointed on DCS, but it is not the bugs or the early access… I don’t do multiplayer, so MP bugs dont bother me, I don’t have a multi-monitor setup so its bugs and limitations dont bother me, I’m no longer using VR so even less bugs to care about, if the xyz weapon is still not implemented, I just use another weapon, and so on and on, bugs don’t really bother me … but the Razbam issue has killed a lot of my joy for this Sim, however I’m still flying DCS but and don’t intend to leave it just yet …. But I can’t deny that it has lost a lot of its appeal to me.
  11. I dont have the same view, the thought of missing on the Viggen or on the Mirage F1 is too sad to even think about … you really have no idea on what you will be missing.
  12. Thanks, didn’t knew that
  13. It doesnt have DRM, its outdated info.
  14. Thanks a lot, this is truly useful and should help new users. Hope fully ED can take those as examples and place them as standard content.
  15. ok, I was just pointing up that it isnt totally and completely broken, it can still provide a lot of enjoyment. I cant fix it, only ED can.
  16. Seems to me that you are focusing too much on a single non-working feature, you will never be able to enjoy DCS with that mindset.
  17. Same happens to me, I do own quite a bit of content for that Sim: but learning each aircraft does not give me the same enjoyment that DCS does, also the Mission Editor of DCS is so much more powerful, so after a few flights I always end up removing it from my disk. An e-mail reminder alerted me of the current Sale that IL2 has, but even at 70% discount I'm not tempted to purchase their Normandy ... I'd rather re-learn the DCS Mosquito So, I end up making my own missions and using a lot of User Mods to supply the needed AI aircrafts .. I know it is not the same quality but my focus is on learning to handle the aircraft, not re-creating historic combats Happy New Year to all.
  18. Why quote so many posts if you only wanted to ask @Morpheus ? ... do you realize that each poster that you quote receives a heads-up message?
  19. I fly the Mosquito on that map
  20. If you don't add the folder exclusion to your AV, its a matter of time for it to delete the file again.
  21. running just a repair will not impede the AV from deleting the file again, the long term solution is to exclude the dcs folder from AV action, and afterwards recover the quarantined files.
  22. It works on my DCS, like this:
  23. Yes, they are the same skins fortunately. No, it uses the exact same folder as the Full Fidelity Mig-15: "MiG-15bis"
  24. Yes, my first impulse when this situation started was to wait for a resolution and withhold my DCS purchases until the matter cleared. My DCS purchases took a dive because of this: I was the kind of customer that purchased almost every item that showed up on the store, both those that strike my fancy and those that I purchased mostly to support the developers, like the CE-2, Yak-52 and I-16, but this last semester I only bought the upgrades to Flamming Cliffs and the F-5E, skipping on all the recent releases. I will use the F-15E credit to purchase the MiG-29 when it appears, but it is unlikely that I will spend more until ED and Razbam solve their conflict. I stopped flying the 15E the moment the situation began, but I still love the Sim in spite of all and thus went on to learn the F-4E and nowadays I have returned to the MiG-21, so I'm making training missions for those two Cheers and happy new year to you and to every user of this Community. Eduardo
  25. What is crap is the quality of most Antivirus, because in my opinion flagging an inocent file as infected is just unacceptable. This is not an ED problem, but an AV maker problem.
