  1. I’m so sick of people wanting freebies …. How in the hell can you afford a computer able to run dcs?
  2. Hi, Thanks a lot, wasn't aware of it and looks great: and includes 10 liveries!
  3. yes it can, in fact applying mods to saved games and to the dcs main folder is like having two separate games.
  4. I did know, tried it several times but couldn’t get used to it, OvGME meets my needs and its more intuitive and easier to use.
  5. thanks for the report, will check it tomorrow
  6. 12 cores, but has no Integrated graphics, so cant drive the MB hdmi port.
  7. You are right, I was confusing it with "Raven One: Dominant Fury"
  8. The MoBo HDMI port is just a passthrough, the MB does not actually have any graphics hardware, the HDMI port is there in case you install an AMD processor that includes a GPU integrated on it .. most high end AMD processor do not have this, which processor are you using?
  9. Thank you so much, glad to be already subscribed to your channel. Your YT channel seems like a lost treasure of DCS knowledge, wonder why it isnt more well known Wish you the best, cheers! Eduardo
  10. +1 ... learning the free Mission Editor is actually much more worthwhile that just purchasing a Map, for me it is actually a "game within a game"
  11. Ok, I just tried it and it seems to work on my DCS: so, it clearly isn't an issue with the Campaign or with DCS (I have the latest DCS version). On your case, I would try two things: a) first, disable all user mods, to see if then the Campaign works. b) I would try a DCS repair, with the DCS_UPDATER.EXE REPAIR command, to ensure that DCS integrity is correct.
  12. Rather than removing civil traffic, I’d prefer a special static object that one could place onto a road, which would make vehicles reverse direction … this would give missions designers the means to isolate arbitrary sections of roads from civ traffic, to implement our own roadbases.
  13. it needs Syria map and supercarrier, you have both installed?
  14. Since I use RAT mostly for background immersion, I don't need to start it right away so I don't load Moose at Mission Start. Instead I wait say 5 seconds to load Moose, and then wait 3 more seconds before running the RAT configuration script, like on this example on a mission that I'm currently editing:
  15. Yes correct, RAT wasn't working for me because of a trigger error on my part
  16. You can test each knob on separate triggers, and if their respective knob is in the correct position set a knob flag to true. Then the trigger that plays tests for both flags to be true rather than the argument of each knob, this way it won't matter which control is operated first.
  17. KY-58 Power Select Knob, OFF/ON/TD : Argument 447, values 0: OFF, 0.1: ON, 0.2: TD KY-58 Mode Select Knob, P/C/LD/RV : Argument 444, values 0: P, 0.1: C, 0.2: LD, 0.3: RV I extracted the above from the clickabledata.lua file, on the following folder: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2.9.6\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Scripts
  18. no, it seems the last update broke RAT, but I have not done much testing yet.
  19. Sorry, can’t help with this because I don’t have the Kiowa
  20. My point was: "why an improvement should be free", I understand what you all write, but none addresses what I wrote.
  21. I don't really see why this should be so ... only improvements to the free assets I expect for free, but an improvement to a 10-year old Module? why? did the developer not invest any resources developing this "plain" improvement? I find this attitude of "everything for free" quite disturbing, no wonder many don't believe the developer when it discloses how many man-hours went into it.
  22. That's a real shame, as it limits their usefulness a lot (at least for those of us that intended to create whole libraries of ready to place SAM and AAA units). Hopefully ED developers can fix this limitation.
  23. I understand, I considered that alternative too, but it forces us to have one such template for each Map that we have
  24. Hi, I’d love to know how other mission designers are organizing their "templates", for now the best way for me is to have a whole MIZ as a "palette", with one sample of each template, that I can open and then copy from it onto my actual mission, but it is cumbersome, as the Editor can’t hold open two missions at a time.
  25. Prior experience with the C-101, the A-10C II and the Blackshark 3, had taught me that skins are specific to a 3D model.
