Yes, I did, the standard one: LWin+LShf+E .. no difference with clicking the lever lock
-
Hello, If I click on the highlighted lever, the Throttle moves from STOP into MIN: However, I can't then get the Throttle back into STOP ... tried it with both the engine running and non-running, but to no avail, the lever doesn't move the Throttle back to STOP. Does it have a trick? Thanks for the help, Eduardo

Can anyone provide a file to have the canopy open like this?

or ... "create a copy of the livery you want to use" -

I can't really offer you any assurance, as this is a Microsoft move to invade our privacy ... ... dont click the link and just modify the skin yourself with the information I provided on my prior posts. -
-
Have you tried to use the server.lua file instead?
-
el MizEdit permite traducir los textos de toda la mision, no solo el briefing, revisa bien sus opciones.

Check that you have not enabled the historic filter, no user mod is compatible with that ME feature. -
Did a quick check and on my DCS it works fine .. most likely you have a user Mod that is conflicting with DCS:

You have to create a copy of the livery you want to use, and then add at the end of its description.lua the arguments you want to set for the aircraft, like this: Then on the mission editor you use this livery for the static aircraft that you want to place ... I dont know if using this type of livery makes sense on a player controlled aircraft, I have only used it on background aircraft: Once the mission starts, it looks like this: -
You mean how do you fix bugs, isnt it? ... according to me, ED splits its manpower in two parts: one to maintain the DCS core and do bug fixing, the other part to keep developing new Modules and finish up those still in early access.
-
If ED were to do that, how do you expect they to keep their income to pay their employees?

Feedback Thread - AJS-37 Viggen Patch, September 30th 2024
Rudel_chw replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
My thoughts on this is that most DCS users can be classified in two camps: Gamers, and Simmers ... of course, this is a gross simplification, as there are other minority groups: artist who enjoy creating liveries or 3D objects, historians who hate anything fictional, movie directors who enjoy video editing almost as much as flying, diorama makers who like creating static templates, etc, etc ... but still the two biggest groups are Gamers and Simmers. A Gamer is happy just learning the techniques and tricks that will give him an edge on Multiplayer gaming, this kind will rarely read the manual, as he opts to fly mostly FC3 aircrafts, uses auto-start to begin his flight, and watches YT tutorials. They tend to frequent Discord rather than the Forum, as it allows them to communicate with each other on Multiplayer groups and servers. The Simmer is the one that is most happy with the study-level aircraft, and they do use the manual as a first step into learning the intricacies of each airframe. As study is mostly a solitary endeavor, Simmers tend to play Single Player rather than frequent the MP Servers and their Discords, so that would be why you are more likely to encounter them here on the Forum. Well, now probably I will get I am sure I get too Cheers! -
It's so sad that 4 year have elapsed and the flight stick still can't be hidden at will ... I don't care about not having a pilot body, but not being able to hide the stick is getting so annoying.

I flew the Viggen a lot on its first year on dcs, 2017 if I remember correctly, but your great manual rewrite is what made me return to it … just wanted to thank you properly for the effort and let you know that it is appreciated… and of course my thanks to Heatblur for the effort on keeping this Module updated and ever-improving it -

thanks a lot for the explanation, will give it a try to the "real only" option … pity that the map does not extend a bit more to the south, the amount of Baltic sea available is very limiting for mission making. -
Thank you so much, I’m not flying the Jeff at the moment, but will save it for when I return to the JF in the future.

Amazing how many dcs users are comedians in disguise
