  1. Sorry, I didn't get the joke as english is not my native language ... and I also am serious about this hobby On my case, I just want to be happy
  2. you mean the civil aircrafts? The Civil Aircraft Mod dates back to 2017, and it still works fine: https://cam.em-key.de
  3. Even so, they are useful as reference points on the map when editing the mission, to place trigger zones and ground objects.
  4. Hi, Just realized that this Campaign has been released I added it to my DCS, and will begin to fly it as soon as I finish my current aircraft comittment (the T-45C), thanks a lot for sharing this with the community Best regards, and thanks again Eduardo
  5. being a Steam customer is a choice, if you want you can be an ED customer instead.
  6. call me curious, what was the problem ?
  7. Yes, unfortunately the developer of this App has not yet fixed this. As a workaround, I generated the kneeboard files using a "stand-in" aircraft, on my case the A-10A which I'm not flying, and then copied the files manually using windows, to the proper folders for both the F4U-1 and the F4U-1D_CW
  8. Hi, On the F-15C only the rudder gets animation, the toe brake pedals do not animate. You can hit Ctrl+Enter to show the controls overlay, where you will see if the brakes are sensed by the sim or not.
  9. This was before my time ... you will need to open a support ticket, so that ED support can check your licenses and fix the issue: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/
  10. The downloaded file contains an Installation Guide. On my case, I opted to install it using a Mod Manager, so that I can easily undo the install if needed, looks like this:
  11. Don't understand the question of the thread title ... can't you purchase it on the Store? I have it since many years ago and it is still on my account:
  12. dlc is a term used to refer to items that you purchase on the steam or ED Stores, as opposed to campaigns that you download from User Files or other websites.
  13. DLC Campaigns have copy protection, you won’t be able to modify them.
  14. Honestly, I care more for details on the airbases than landmarks, else I would be flying that other civil Sim that can't be mentioned
  15. I'm sure this will be tuned by the developers, as this is an early access bird where the development has not yet been finished.
  16. Here is a tip for the "lessons.lua" file used for the training missions: you only need to specify the filename of each mission, in the order you want them to appear on the DCS list. The mission name and description are taken automatically by ED from within the MIZ file, like this: On the pic you can see that the standard missions (I show only the first mission, for clarity) specify all three fields, while the ones I added for Nevada and Kola (also show only the first mission of each set) make use of this tip. Eduardo
  17. Are you sure? I've never used that kind of path for any official Module, only User Mods would employ such a path.
  18. For that case, I have a separate folder tree for "MP Missions". I used to separate the missions by map folders, but since DCS added the "Map" column to the mission listing I opted to consolidate all my missions by aircraft type instead. Once the sheer quantity of Modules grew too much, I divided them for Helo, WW2, Cold War, and Modern .. just to keep the listings at a reasonable length.
  19. The easiest way to handle user created missions, particularly those not made by oneself, is to place them at /Saved Games/, the paths are these: 1) For user campaigns: C:\Users\your user\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\Campaigns\en\ ( be careful, as you may have a customized location for saved games and the DCS folder may be named differently, like DCS.openbeta ) ... each Campaign can be stored on a separate sub folder, to prevent file naming conflicts if you place every campaign on the same folder. On the disk it looks like this: Within DCS you will see these campaigns at "My Campaigns": 2) For every other type of User mission, the path would be: C:\Users\your user\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\ ... this includes quick start and training missions. As you can literally collect hundreds of missions over time, you may employ sub-folders to organize things a bit, so the desired missions are easier to find. Within DCS you will see these missions at "My Missions": Then you would have to place them within the DCS Program folder, which is more complex since ED did not intend it to be touched by the user, and thus any Repair or Update process may delete your custom missions if you are not careful. Both Training and Quickstart missions employ a LUA file to provide descriptive names, you would need to edit them if you want any extra mission to appear on the DCS listing. Standard Missions and Campaigns do not need any LUA file. Eduardo
  20. the FB 5 is a single seater.
  21. thanks a lot, I truly love early jets and the vampire was the first jet fighter flown by my country (tough it was a T.mk 55 rather than a mk.5)
  22. Yes, of course there are, 8 in total: I understand that they were edited by @Reflected On Caucasus I don't know why they are not set on Marianas WW2, probably that Map wasn't yet available when those missions were made.
