  1. Here is a video walkthrough of one of my missions, on ccip bombing: The T-45 sight is pretty accurate, so you are unlikely to miss the target
  2. The image above suggests that it doesn’t:
  3. In real life we have much better eyesight than DCS can represent, so to me zoom is not a cheat but actually a compensation
  4. Hi, The templates are like a starting point, you start with a mission of your own (can be a new or an existing mission) then decide that you need a red fleet on it, load the template and the fleet gets added to your mission … the template itself is not modified, it is still there to use some other time. Then you can keep editing your mission, at that point you can edit the carrier deck and eliminate whatever static is needed to clear space… my statics are usually hidden, so you might need to tell the Editor to show hidden objects in order to be able to delete some.
  5. Sorry to hear that, wish you a trouble-free recovery. I'm truly looking forward to flying this bomber on DCS, already got the Flight Manual of the real thing, so I can make a training mission for it whenever it is released.
  6. Thanks for the kind words ... unfortunately the Kuznetsov is bugged at the moment, the U command should raise the wheel chocks, but it is no longer working.
  7. So, the Mod will be the Alpha jet A variant, rather than the Alpha Jet E of France?
  8. looks like a great Mod, looking forward to it, as I have a soft spot for trainer aircraft ... took a look at your Discord, but my french is very limited, tough I could see that your team has been working on this Mod since december 2022.
  9. I use the one that comes included with Windows: MS Defender … any AV can detect false positives, to prevent that I exclude the DCS file path from AV action.
  10. Are you working on an Alphajet? ... I don't know how advanced you are on the project, but I'd love to be able to edit some missions for it when it is released Best regards, Eduardo
  11. most tutorials on this subject are oriented towards new dcs users, and so are not really "in-depth" … the most in-depth ME tutorial that I’ve ever seen is this series, by @Ranger79: I know that it is pretty old, but the concepts it teaches are still valid … the biggest change when you use the current Editor to follow the tutorial examples, is that currently the flags can be named, and the trigger zones can be rectangular in addition to circular. yes, but if you change the mission in anyway (even if just changing the map pov) and then save, the mission’s internal format will be updated to the current miz version.
  12. As a first step, look into your Antivirus activity log, to ensure that it has not restricted access to files it deems dangerous. As a second step, you could attach your dcs.log file to gather more clues about this issue.
  13. Hello all, As promised, today I added another mission to this Training set, this time on using all three variants of the swedish version of the Sidewinder infra-red guided missile, on Air-Air interceptions: Next one will be a Training mission about the employment of the Viggen defensive systems. Cheers, Eduardo
  14. Strange, I use Bana all the time and have no problem with the waypoints that I have set for the mission … this is a recent video I recorded at Nevada, and Bana worked there: However, I have not tested it at Syria
  15. please attach your dcs.log file to gather more clues about your issue
  16. Hi, Thanks a lot for clarifying this, as I had the same doubt myself. Also thanks for the swiss skins, as I was not aware of them. I'm currently fully immersed on the Viggen, but as soon as I've got enough free time, I will try to update my old training missions to make them compatible with the latest T-45, including your scripts. Best regards, Eduardo
  17. Me too, I usually purchase almost every new item that is released for DCS, but after this RB situation I have skipped the Afghanistan map (in spite of its good pricing) and now also skipped on the CH-47. Well, I wasn't flying any of the RB aircrafts since the last couple of months I have been dedicated to the Viggen, but I do use the South Atlantic Map a lot ... so, until these modules actually stop working, I'm not deleting them yet.
  18. You are welcome, but rather than disable the whole antivirus, you can set on its configuration an exclusion for the DCS folder path, this way the AV still monitors the rest of your disk.
  19. Most likely an Antivirus action, check your AV logs to confirm if it is preventing access to any DCS files
  20. This is a bug reports thread and the C-101 is a mature module, so I guess it is a good sign that there is little activity on it I see items for the C-101 on the last DCS update: "DCS: C-101 Aviojet by AvioDev General: Rear pilot is now not present in the Mission Editor preview window (basically in payload dialog) when the 'Solo Flight' option is selected. 'Solo Flight' is now available for AI-controlled aircraft. Fixed C-101EB 'English' cockpit livery not being applied. Now with the 'Disable force feedback effects' option checked, force feedback joysticks (if any is connected) will always return a constant spring force. All FFB shake effects will be disabled as well. Communications: Added Voice Chat sound filters parameters for ARC-134, V/TVU-740, and VHF-20B radios presets." So, I guess they are still active If it is repeatable, save a track file and open a bug report thread. It's been a long while since I did the C-101 training and nowadays don't have time to run the training myself. Can't say much on this, my Thrustmaster works fine with it, maybe your VKB behaves different?
  21. No, the latest version is 1.01 https://www.mediafire.com/file/igxeyo81nx1i01w/VNAO_T45_v1.0.1.zip/file The user @Fresh has updated several scripts and made them available at VNAO Discord: "Hello Naval Aviators, I've been working on updating some of the scripts in the Goshawk, fixing various stuff: Magnetic variation from the map implemented, TACAN, VOR and Waypoints magnetic bearings now correct. Switches for the radios now work in the correct direction. 264 MHz and 305 MHz are automatically set on the radios (Bankler's Mission). COMM1 and COMM2 are automatically audible and on when you have a hot air or ground start. Parking brakes are set on ground by default. ADI is on MFDL and HSI is on MFDR by default on a hot start. Antiskid is on by default for a hot start. ILS is on and tuned to 110.30 Batumi ILS. TACAN is on and tuned to 72X. Data Page on either MFD is cleaned up and shows magnetic variation and QFF from the map. CDI for TACAN and VOR now show correctly when using the reciprocal course. Altimeter starts at the correct setting, within the limits of the Kollsman window. Wind displayed on the HSI is now in the correct direction (was 180° off) Added a temperature error to the altitude based on QFF and sea level temperature All these changes are in the Scripts folder which I have attached below. Please read the readme.txt file to know where to install (replace the original). Feedback and info about any new bugs introduced by my tinkering very welcome. 22. Yes, of course, I got all of this at User Files: Dont have the links handy, but I found them just using a Site search.
  23. I have not seen any DCS option that would allow us to set a custom path for the Screen Captures, but you can use a Windows Folder Junction to relocate the default folder wherever you want. Here is more info: https://ss64.com/nt/mklink.html The variant to use, for DCS, is MKLINK /J
