  1. OK, understood, but now what does the sync option actually do? If the controller has been moved then DCS has to sync with it anyway, so what is the difference between sync option on and off? thanks
  2. Su-33 is the heaviest (at max weight), at least for fixed wing. Su-27 is close second.

    AGM-65G

I guess this means we will not have force correlate at all? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3661877&postcount=117

    Track file

Still works for me (open beta 2.5.3.24436). Also, the last mission track is always saved in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta\LastMissionTrack.trk
  5. Fantastic, thanks!
  6. Excellent video, thank you for sharing! If I may have one small feedback, it would be great if some of the key slides (e.g. LS gate tables) were available as PDF or something.
  7. Hey, no worries. Your work and willingness to share is much appreciated!
  8. With some JTAC's after you get the "LASING" message you need to declare first "SPOT" and then "IN" (from the menu) and wait for "CLEARED HOT" message before you can fire.
  9. I downloaded the updated files and I think there is an issue with the campaign progression. On mission failure the result is 0, which drops you back one stage (forcing you to redo the mission that was already successful). From the manual So, the result should be 50 on mission failure and greater than 50 on mission success but never less than 50 (assuming you want the campaign to progress linearly).
  10. I am not positive but I think there is a small bug that you need to end the mission as soon as you get the mission success message, while the bandit is still in the trigger zone. If you RTB and land the bandit will get out of the zone and the mission will fail, even if you got the mission success message.
  11. This is not true, campaigns work fine in subfolders. Just put all campaign files (.cmp, .miz, .jpg etc.) in a subfolder of Missions/Campaigns/en.
  12. AGM-65E (laser guided) has been released on Open Beta
  13. IMHO, the floating, out-of-sync labels are much bigger problem than the zoom.
  14. Whether it is correctly simulated or not, this is apparently caused by large negative g's (instant lost of consciousness or pilot death). Su-27 has been behaving like this for a long time. So, to avoid it, roll inverted, pull back on the stick and roll back.
  15. Check the module manager if you have standalone Su-33 module installed in addition to FC3. If so, uninstall it.
  16. Yes, same here. Cannot detect any pattern either.
  17. As a workaround you could create a symlink in your tracks directory. Something like this (you have to do this in the Administrator Command Prompt): cd "c:\Users\<yourusername>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Tracks" mklink /d other_tracks d:\other_tracks
  18. Well, I don't know then. Are you comparing RL or DCS? At the same launch range? That may be... Are the speeds that you quote maximum or terminal? It has been my experience that when Kh-58U is shot at longer range (that's what it is for) it is shot down easier than Kh-25MPU. Nothing scientific. Perhaps flight profile difference? Kh-25MPU tend to fly lower. Also, some ships do have Tor.
  19. FWIW, I find that while Kh-58U have longer range, Kh-25MPU are faster and less likely to be shot down before hitting the target (especially against ships but also land based SAMs).
  20. But that's only true for the auto-generated cartridges. Does the mission editor option disable the custom cartridge (CustomCartridge.ini) too?
  21. If the complexity of F/A-18C is the only thing preventing you from getting it, I would not worry. It is still pretty simple because many features are not implemented yet. You will learn as they are added. It is also very easy to fly and you don't have to do Case I carrier landings at all if you don't want to :).
  22. But does that include using afterburner? I assume no?
  23. Which autopilot mode did you try? LAlt-3 (wings level) does not seem to hold altitude but LAlt-4 (barometric altitude hold) works pretty well.
