  1. Great, thank you!
  2. By standard Gunfighter do you mean not Pro or not Mk II? I assume not Pro, like this one: https://vkbcontrollers.com/?product=vkb-sim-gunfighter-revb-mcg-pro Can you confirm? Thanks
  3. I have been thinking about MCG PRO for a while now but one thing that is is not clear to me is whether it is usable sitting on the desk? Is that possible? If so, which parts would I need to order? Thanks
  4. Of course female Jester could not be JESTER anymore, for true realism we'll have to call her SKATES.
  5. It should be possible, though I am not sure if it is worth it. I haven't tested it but something like this should work (refer to https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 for explanation and details how to run the commands): Copy your entire installation directory to the other PC. Run something like DCS_updater install NORMANDY_terrain on the other PC. Do NOT run DCS GUI. Copy the entire installation back to the original PC. Run DCS_updater repairon the original PC.
  6. I would like to know this too. Which Saved Games folder will the 2.5 release (not open beta) use? Thanks
  7. I am seeing the same same thing. Like if ALT hold didn't have any effect at all.
  8. This one of the great things in this campaign. Some radio voices are actually in English (mostly with Russian accent) so you can understand some things. I even understand some of the Russian (not a whole lot). Are these actual recorded radio transmission? From Krasnodar of course (for realism :))?
  9. Thanks!
  10. Oh, I must have missed this before! Is there some more info about this? What areas? Even if only small, it will still be nice.
  11. We have the "DCS World tour" mission: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=126688
  12. Ah, thanks. I don't think it does (there is nothing in the ground crew menu) but in a sense it doesn't matter because the point of this exercise (which perhaps I should have stated before :)) is to see if I can try complete a combat mission after both generators fail. It seems like it might be possible since weapons work and I can still fly, but quite difficult to aim without the bank/pitch stabilizer. Oh well. Thanks a lot for the education.
  13. Thanks, right, that's what I was asking. Hower, even with 36V inverter set to manual, the co-pilot attitude indicator (and autopilot pitch/bank) still doesn't work.
  14. Should the rectifiers be on or off?
  15. Attitude Indicator is on but the Gyro Compass is not. Garmin GPS works. So the main issue is really the pitch/bank stabilizer.
  16. Thanks, so with the Test Equipment switch on (in addition to the previous settings) weapons work (well, at least some of them)! But autopilot only works partially. Only altitude channel can be engaged (which it couldn't before). But heading and bank/pitch channels still don't work. OTOH, fans now spin too :-)
  17. Thanks, but still doesn't work. I have Standby Generator on, rectifiers off and 115/36 AC manual, as in the attached picture. BTW, rectifiers don't seem to affect APU Gen Load meter.
  18. I cannot get it to work. If I turn off the two main generators, no matter what I try the autopilot and weapons systems do not get power. But from the manual it seems like it should be possible for the APU generator to power them for a limited time? Can someone confirm if this is possible and it if so how? Or not possible :-) Thanks
  19. The online map does have coordinates. You have to hover the mouse over the map symbol.
  20. Did you try Su-25T? I think they used to work there.
  21. Exactly. I always found the often quoted rule about using throttle for glide slope and stick for AOA too simplistic and confusing. You always have to use both at the same time for any correction. If you are on glide slope but your AOA is wrong, you can't just use the stick because that would take you off the glide slope. Similarly, if your AOA is right on but you are below/above glide slope you can't just use the throttle to correct because that would affect the AOA too.
  22. Not in A-10C, no. You have to use LCtrl-B and LShift-B to operate the air brake. And you have to hold the key until the brake is in the desired position, not just quickly press once.
  23. I had the same problem. You have to be quite far from the house in order not to blow up. Of course then it's harder to aim but eventually I succeeded...
  24. I think it's this stuff: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3192237&postcount=12 (you may want to read the whole thread)
  25. Is the server down? It doesn't show up on the list and when I try to connect by IP (91.205.184.66:10308 ) I get "Connection timed out" almost immediately. Thanks
