  1. I made this a while ago. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1432811/
  2. I haven't tried myself. But there is a method to revert back to Open Beta version 1.2.16.43180. I'm going to try that.
  3. Thank you ED!!! Ecstatic!!!
  4. I got myself a fancy 4K X 4K template. It is about 230Mb large. I bet LNS's is much bigger!
  5. It is allready moving. But when the engine is started, it also moves when you are static on the ground. This is incorrect.
  6. YES! Dogfighting in an Mi-8. That requieres some balls!!!
  7. Señor Juan, graciás por tu mensaje sincero!
  8. Try to record a video. I saw the bug in a video as well. And if it is the same bug, I don't think it can be captured by a screenshot.
  9. This isn't happening to me. But I expect it is some inconsistency or possibly driver issue. I did see some similar bug in a youtube vid somewhere. Do you have any graphical mods installed?
  10. I Always try to fatefully replicate the buttons on the real aircraft ( i.e. the MiG-21) on my HOTAS for added immersion. And I made myself these two for the rest! :D
  11. Nah... it just looks awesome.. :D
  12. Some things are just beautiful!
  13. We got this beautiful baby! The launch trailer still gives me goosebumps!
  14. I did read the rules, but the text was a bit too difficult to comprehend for me. Thanks for the answer.
  15. So, a while ago, I looked at my account on the DCS shop. It says I got bonus funds for $20. What does that mean? Do I have a voucher for $20 free or something? How can I use it on new in-store buys? Or is it something different?
  16. 256 point resolution? It is extremly low. Most USB controllers are on a 1024 bit resolution nowadays. Yes? My advice: get new rudder pedals. Or find a way to connect the old pedals to a new controller. Possibly from a second-hand joystick on E-bay.
  17. Of course it is possible that the potentiometer wears out after a while. You can try to clean it, but that requires lots of work and taking the thing apart. There is Always the danger that you break it, or a tiny part gets lost. So it is best to replace the potentiometer with a new one. They are not expensive.
  18. The resistance of the pot doesn't matter really. It is important to use a linear one. Not a stereo potentiometer that is inteded to go into audio mixing panels. You only must calibrate every new pot in windows. Just as you would do with every new controller you connect. A resistance anywhere between 10K and 100K is okay. USB controllers only look at the difference in voltage, not the resistance itself. twitchiness might be reduced by playing with the curves and saturation of your axis in DCS UH-1. After you check the calibration in the windows gaming controllers. Believe me, I know. ;)
  19. Yup... That's why I made this: :smartass::laugh:
  20. The Draken was a test of how the different colors would look like together. Entirely off-topic, I am sorry, but I am rather proud of this one. The full build can be seen here: https://modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=202&t=38627
  21. Here is it... This was a test shot for when i was making the 1:48 AZ fairey firefly. You see five pictures of exactly the same subject. Nothing was changed to the paint, only the ligthing was different each time. You see five different shades of... grey.
  22. I might have some screenshot somewhere to illustrate how the appearance of colors change under varying lighting conditions. I'll look for it when I get home.
  23. Screenshots and digital pictures in general are not reliable colorwise. This is because colours can show up very different in varying lighting conditions, and maybe the picture has been corrected with photoshop and the colorprofile of your monitor is a bit off. I am an avid aviation modeller of historic airplanes and some colors are impossible to get exactly right. I always look at lots of different pictures and try making some kind of average color between those different photographs.
  24. Not really. But there were more then 10.000 MiG-21's made over a span of three or four decades. I don't think they all had the exact same color on the inside. So my advice is: look at pictures of the real thing and maybe visit a museum with one in the exhibit.
