  1. Kicking everybody out of the back, that is an extremly fun job I think. :pilotfly::thumbup:
  2. And be sure to check the map ever so often, just to check if you are still on course. I never managed to go in a straight line for more then a few minutes. :)
  3. Might be that there are no Force-Feedback stuff writen for this module at all.
  4. Might be a hint for the next Leatherneck module! :music_whistling: :megalol:
  5. Jackass! This made me laugh. Thank you! :)
  6. Maybe you can try to delete DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\Aircraft\MiG-21bis\Input\MiG-21\headtracker and \trackir and run DCS updater.exe to repair the MiG-21 module. Maybe you can try that. The repair function copy's the needed files to your MiG-21 installation again. Along with overwriting any other modded, so you might want to back-up a thing or two. It should leave customized keyboard-layouts alone. I assume you have the trackIR software installed?
  7. Awesome pics Mr. Alexander!!! I would happily fly the Mi-8 with you in the left seat!!
  8. Wow... NICE!!! Much more immersive then the cargo-cam. I like the russian voices, do we get the subtitles as well? Or are they only put in place for the YouTube video?
  9. A screenshots wich show all the aplicable swiches set would be very helpful.
  10. I've tried that as well. But the MiG-21 is really not a bomber at all. And does the BL755 (or any other cluster munition) ever get the chance of deploying at that altitude?
  11. Too bad. Landing with full flaps and minimum airspeed was quite an adventure with a forcefeedback stick. :D
  12. Yes. I recently added the brakes to an axis. Shouldn't a bit of deadzone at the start of it prevent air from leaking? Strange...
  13. For a few days now, the brake chute often fails to deploy. I am rolling down the runway, pressing the "P" key and... Nothing happens... :music_whistling: I press the "chute deploy" button repeatedly with the mouse and... Nothing... Key assignment is checked and verified. It also won't eject. (This makes sense of course if it won't deploy first) I am using the Warthog with a homemade TARGET profile. I just got this stick and now the chute won't deploy?? I am still running 1.5.0 and not 1.5.1 Any guesses?
  14.
  15. It might be related to the "visible range" bug. Various graphical errors may or may not appear when it is not set to at least "High" IIRC. Also, do you use the HDR setting?
  16. Awesome vid!
  17. pic doesn't show...
  18. Those shots are pretty clear. But you would think the MiG-21 is equiped with enough oxygen to stay up there for a considerable amount of time? I did not look at the time, but I was up at 9km for no more then 30 minutes or so. How much oxygen can the MiG-21 take with him and can you have any control over the oxygen flow except for the on-off function?
  19. Yes I did. Both handles forward. And won't your canopy blow off if they are not sealed properly?
  20. Just this morning, I took the MiG-21 for a spin. And after flying at an altitude of 9km, I noticed the gunsight getting blurry. I am pretty sure I switched on the helmet ventilation and airconditioning controls (all on automatic) And I was wondering, why is the gunsight getting fuzzy? It quickly dissapeared when I decended.
  21. Lots of flying by members of the public Sometimes it was almost too crowded. The DCS section of this event defenitivly took the most admiration from the crowd. Some DCS-unrelated stuff was found... http://www.simparts.de had an awesome stand! The complete A-10 cockpit was a great thing to behold! Some members of our group got interviewed for a local TV station. And finally, a pic with the greatest jet ever made!
  22. Try opening up the pot-meter and slightly de-grease it with a soft cloth and contact spray. Or just spray a bit inside the pot-meter. It helped me with the spiking of my saitek pots. It is like lubricant, specificaly made for electrical connections. NOT WD40.
  23. A screenie... basically the MiG-21 unguided rocket armament on the Mi-8. It is a correct historical load-out. To fire the big S24 rockets seperatly from the other rockets, you need to equip them on the most inboard pylons (so not like the screenshot above!) and select pylons '3-4' with the switch on the armament panel numbered (1) in the picture below.
  24. S-24... KABOOOMM!!! :D Thanks
  25. It is a 'feature' on older design gyroscopic instruments. It is also on the (T)P-51. Gyroscopic instruments need to be corrected all the time IIRC. Modern gyroscopic instruments have some kind of auto-correcting feature build-in.
