Sorry but mustangs smoke tune looks like something out of a cartoon, it is way to thick. I do agree Missile trails should be a little thinker and last longer. The Jet contrails in this game is really what annoys the crap out of me. I have asked a number of times if it is possible to tune it down so it doesn't sit in the air forever. I have never got a response.

@Moto really nice looking Screen Shots there, almost looked real for a minute. To bad the Aircraft lights and Runway lights look like Glow sticks on crack in this sim.

There is smoke coming from 100's of buildings in the city areas. You have a lot of dust kick up from flying low to the ground. You have contrail smoke that lingers in the air forever. When i drop my bombs and shoot my guns i wanna see a BOOM-SPLAT-POW, not a firecracker. I watched a video on the tube of a CAS mission were there was a group of US soldiers pined down by a large enemy force and moving in on them. They had no smoke, flares or anything to mark themselves, just a radio. Flight lead from an F-16 group caught a glimpse of were the enemy force was, and dropped a cluster bomb. With the Dust from that explosion the rest of his flight new were to look, and the soldiers on the ground could tell them were they needed to go from there.

Only means a person has to get out and do some work, so you can afford a pc to run it. Developers aims should be high, and not make games for people on 5 yr old computers.

Why not now? Is it to difficult to model some dust and particles?

First of all, TrackIR is not a requirement for DCS-A10. TrackIr is optional. I am helping you, as why i said TRY SEARCHING for once.

BF2 is one of my all time favorites. That teaser video looks a little CG to me but man i hope not. Should be a heck of a game.

ya the fire looks like a GIF image. If i had the files to look at i could try some things.

Ya That's why it says WIP. Yes there is to much fire in the texture. The point is the smoke and explosions are 1990's for me in this game. The GAU in this game doesnt even produce dust.

F-10 is a joke and you shouldn't have to use it. This topic should go to the wish list as its wanting a realistic Airfield, and ATC comms.

GAU/Bomb Impacts I notice there is no dust kick up from the GAU shells, and bomb impacts. The GAU shells should kick up a large amount of dust as should bomb impacts Specially Cluster Bombs. Is this area just to difficult for the graphics department to model? There would be many Advantages and Disadvantages, and add a lot of Immersion for the pilot.
