Sorry, I know that what I will write is no "pure" real simulation BUT.....I found the apache much much harder to fly than Huey, even with all the technical helps the computers gives to the apache, so.... great adition to the trim reset etc, but....I noticed that the up/down/left/right cursors move the stik and it stays there, a kind of trimming in planes, so I bounded the keys to my trim hat (with a modifier) and now all becomes easy, can make corrections without pressing and hold the trim button and depressing it and trying to see where the damm cross is in the control indicator window... I know it is not the best aproach to a "real control simulation experience", but it works fine, can be done also with the rudder pedals for fine tunning. LAST VERSION : you must not touch ciclic while my "fine trimming solution" and whrn in desired position push TRIM button (in my keybinding TRIM HAT UP) in order to save the new fine adjust and not reverse to standar possition.

Dont know if in options in the misc label there is a syncronize controls at start mission, maybe checked or unchecked will work, if not.... the best solution is plug your device to an usb to prevent enter it in save mode, try also in device manager, go to usb an uncheck in all the usb properties on the power admin (administracion de energia) the option sayng "allow your system to blah blah blah"

I am going to try to assing "usb 2.0 hp reveb sound" to spatial sound and look what happens.

Hi, check if fos some reason you checked or activated the vsync option in DCS and/or in Nvidia control panel, In other ways, witch what module the micro suttering appears, in my case, starts with the apache, the solution in my rig is going to DCS settings and set the graphics options to middle, not the terrain graphics. In the Apache module has (IMO) no difference in visuals on the cockpit, but the performance goes much better. In the other hand, see if you are changing the ASW mode in the oculus headset (if I remember was done with "ctrl" or "alt" + "1 to 5" keypad press) maybe this should change your performance...

With the mini mouse attached to my finger no matters how close o far I am from my desktop because I don't need to extend my arms, only point with my mouse or the blue cross in VR and click or rotate the device's buttons. In other way, with leapmotion attached to my VR you must be far enough to extend your arms without touching the desk, the keyboard etc, in my desktop, unfortunately,I have the winwing orion base and thottle over the surface, in both sides of my monitor, so when I try to reach the buttons in VR with the leapmotion I collide with everything.

I am a bit afraid messing with system stuff, but I downloaded the program and says same as yours , my gpu is selected but undefined, If I change it to HIGH really makes any diference? Thanks

I used this one for a time, then I assigned a click mouse to one of my devide buttons and axis for mouse to one of my many devices axis trough the joytokey app. I tryed to use my leap motion in vr but, due to my desktop config, every time I try to reach controls put mi gingers on my desk or on my monitor, so no usable for me, in fact I am selling it.

Hello, I am selling my leap motion device, because I have not enought room on my playing room, so I reach the monitor or my desk every time I want to use the device, so it is useles for me. I am asking 100€, with all the unit new, (the two cables even the original box with all documentation) PM if you want it, I'll send images an more info if you want. think in the simapp software you can assign the speed , when clicking in the axis a new window opens to assign speed.

Yep, You're right, I play in VR, sorry for the missunderstanding, when I Played with TRACKIR (don´t know if you're using this software for your device or another), I assigned also the center button in the trackIR software to the joy button I told you, If your device software is unable to read joy inputs, then the only option left I can figure is the joytokey program.

The joytokey program doesnt eat resources, is a very little program, in the other hand, to recenter your headset, go to DCS and in the controls settings find UI control, there you will see VR recenter option, with your joys plugged into the computer, try the button you feel the more confortable, for me I am using the tree way switch the left side of my left trottle, when I push it forward, it centers my view, when push aft I asigned VR zoom and none to the center position....It works well for me.

For that, I put a little dead zone in the axis asignement trough SImApp and solved. And of course with my hand in the stick to stop the oscilation. Must say that before with my other sticks (saitek x52 and x56 rhyno) I was not able to refuel any aircraft, now 90% times I do it very very easy....

Well, I am agree with all your conclusions, but.... really I don't use the winwing simapp software for other tha calibrate the device and assing axis, all the rest I do trough DCS settings, and I can assign whatever I want also modifiers (withe the pickle button for example), the way I use the mouse is , for example, in my F18 Orion stick I assign the little stick betwen the two hats as axis and button in Simapp, then with Joytokey app program this axis as mouse and all is done. Hey, I use The WMR recognition speech, when I say (in spanish, "linterna activada" "Flashlight on" in english) I can see passtrough and can use keyboard etc..) you must have the blue WMR line on top of the monitor (Think it says "device is now running thoug WMR") and of course speech recgnition in WMR enabled. Also The two handgrips (sorry for my english) must be iddle or off, If they are ON you will see where the devices are pointing, in my case sometimes I forget that and see a circle pointing to my table).. If they are Iddle or Off you will see trough tour headset where you are looking Here you have a sample of my view when I activate the Flashlight on my Reverb G2

In your WMR portal, click in the ... on the botton left corner, then go to config, there click on "inicio y escritorio" something like start and desktop and you must see this, put the option like me and you will prevent steamVR to open The last one add the shortcut to your DCS.exe like I said before and there you go. If you don't find the start desktop tab, try to unistall and reinstall WMR again. Other solution could be trying to close steam and steamVR and maintain WMR working.

I you put all the 3 files in the bin folder, you must do two things 1st . Disable WMR from start steam vr Mr when WMR starts 2nd. Make a Shortcut in your computer with DCS Open Beta game folder bin, then put in it "Your game path folder\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR with the semicolons included This must start DSC without starting steam VR

Someone has noticed that? When I first enter onto DCS, If I try a mission with the apache, all works fine, smooth as silk etc etc....But, If I exits and change another aircraft, for example HUEY, all goes fone too......here is the STRANGE THING... If I come back to the SAME mission that i've played in the first start with the apache, I only get a slideshow,,, no good FPS, no smooth as silk....I can´t understand this, because it only happens to me with the apache. Is there a simple solution that prevents me from exit the game and restart it again.?? Does someone has the same trouble?

A silly question, did you installed the mod in your savegames folder?, usually this happens when you install tany mod in the main game Extract the ‘Mods’ folder from the zip file into C:\Users###\Saved Games\DCS\ folder (Steam) or C:\Users###\Saved Games\DCS.OpenBeta\ (Standalone if Open Beta installed) You may require the latest C++ redistributables for this mod to work properly If you use SRS, copy and paste the “DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua” file to “C:\Users###\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\Services\DCS-SRS\Scripts\” - BACK UP THE ORIGINAL! In the mission editor, make sure the Historical Filter is disabled
