I have an issue with this mod, I am unable to fire guns, , in the quickstart mission in marianas, choose the plane above the last one (appears in the air) and when choosing guns to fire and press trigger, program exits with a directx error. Installed the last release and the flight model patch

yes is a common issue, because the device when lost track it figures out how the fingers are positioned , try to don't have near sources with high reflection (even monitor), and if you can tilt a little the device in the headset (15º more or less ) to point in down direction . Mine works fine with this config, now I have to separate a little from my monitor in order not to touch it when I extend my arms. Here is how I configured my device... one more thing...If you installed the device years ago, with the old drivers, make sure you remove all the garbage stuff in your main directory. Silly question, did you check in your MR properties that "create audio echo when MR is open" is disabled? if the third button i enabled you hear the wmr sound also in your desktop And also in your sound properties that none of the devices in the record tab has the "hear this device option" checked in the listen tab?

As far as I know, when you switch to VR, the leap motion thinks that is head mounted , no matter where you assign to it in the leapcontrol app, try to put your leapmotion on your chest or on your head with a hand and move the other....the only option works is switch the device orientation, make sure also that autoswitch to head mounted mode in VR is turned on.

use the simapp, configure it to point to ypor dcs savegames blah blah blah and don't forget to check that no changes are made in the export file.... Backup your input folder in your savegames dcs installation in case you have binded some module that you like. then select your device (no matter hotas or stick) and in the label keybinding should appear all your installed modules, click in the image module ad choose the one you like and the name of one you like in the right and download it , in the left should appear the same name, just click in run.....it should save that specific keybinding in your module inputs joystick folder. It is also possible with joytokey, the only thing to do is press the button you want to use twice ... then go to mouse advanced label and make sure that in the params you put 50 and 50 without integer options, just like in the screen and voilá, key pressed , cursor centered.

IMHO, if you go to VR, you will NEVER go back, as long as your rig can handle the minimal visuals... I have a 33'' 4k curved monitor, and since I have VR, I just play dcs on the monitor to fine-tune the keyboard or play youtube tutorials and switch vs google and play to get familiar with the systems. You should think, if your wallet of money is big enough (no offense, just kidding) to buy the best graphics card you can and the best VR headset (starting at HP Reverb G2 or better) Afer you tune everything... you never go back to a flat monitor. If you want a flat screen then think about the resolution, 1080 is not powerful enough to handle 4k resolutions, when I bought my 33'' 4k monitor I was forced to switch from a 2080ti to a 3080ti. Also the most obvious question, I see in your screenshot that the fields to assign keystrokes are well , only see two grey bands that are not bindables. Have you tried to double click on the line and then assign a button press to see if dcs is receiving inputs from the device? Sometimes we forgot the most obvious thing....at least it happens to myself Hope this helps

I think you must do various things... First of all, be sure that in microphone properties , in the listen tab, all record devices have the listen this device uncheked... Disable your nvidia sound devices.(this is mandatory) Also disable mirror headset audio blah blah in the wmr portal. And make sure that in realtek your settings are like the photo. Think you will solve this.

I only fly solo, my mates don´t have time, an use Always pilot seat, and IA for firing only mavs, it works at least for me.... Didn`t try to launch maveriks from pilot seat, but I think there is a way sure.......but george AI does it well for you. IA is easy to use, just pont with your visor where you want to scan, ad tell george to do, then will drop a list where you choose the target, and boom.....not perfect. but works. Of course I am losing half of the fun but....

Yep, more or less, sometimes I only use the mouse cursor (displayed when I move head in vr to point and click with this mouse) Sometimes I use my trackball mouse attached via magnets to my armchair And now, I have moved my Hotas far from my desk and can use the leap motion without reaching my table or my monitor and only use the fingermouse to turn dials clock or counter wise. But as you can see...for less than 10 bucks there is no need of DIY rings devices, I am a bit dumb and sure will end with my fingers burned or something worse

I think that simapp must be open in order to allow motors works k also must be configured to point to your savegames and main dcs folder.

You are looking at the wrong folder, this is the savegames folder, you must search the bin folder in your main game installation folder.

If you want to read the instruments with NVG you can edit the NVD_HDR.fx file located at your "your installation game\Bazar\shaders\PostEffects" and edit the line #define FOCUS_DISTANCE 0.x changing the x to 0 so you will see the instruments perfect. I don't play multiplayer, so I don't know if passes IC test.
