Stupid Question - How to disable HP Reverb G2 Passthrough??
firefox121 replied to parxuk's topic in Virtual Reality
Like I said in the other forum https://forum.dcs.world/topic/306260-see-your-pit-in-vr-mod/ , if you turn off the wmr focus window (by pressing WIN+Y on the keyboard) the voice control will not work . You wil notice that WMR focus window is not active because you will not see a blue line in the top of your monitor while WMR is running. Also you can instruct windows mixed reality not to hear your headset by disaling the voice recognition in the WMR control panel -

firefox121 replied to killerquagmire's topic in VR Bugs
- Also try to maximize your system pagefile size according to your memory -Clean all your old settings from steam VR using this method : Also in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MixedRealityVRDriver\resources\settings or wherever you have installed your steam main program look for the file inside this folder named default.vrsettings and search for motionReprojectionMode and make sure is none. And One last thing.... make sure where yo have intalled your dcs and your pagefilesystem HDDs or SSDs have enough free space to handle all Can't help you so far.....null -

Yes , With "easy comms" checked I am not able to contact with any tower.....all works fine with "easy comms" unchecked -
The radio is not able to communicate with atc tower even with right frequency selected if in the options menu the auto radio is checked.

If the flashlight popped out of nowhere it may be due to two things: 1 - you have the controllers enabled and press, if I remember well the win button plus other button (don't remeber wich one), I disabled the win button in the left controller via registry, there is some documentation in internet 2 - Or your are speaking or saying something via your microphone that WMR interpretate like "flashlight on" , then bum it pops out without reason
-
Well, it is more or less easy, first of all you must configure your reverb G2 to response for audio inputs, this is done in WMR config, in config options -> windows mixed ->audio and voice Then when you are in WMR (in the home) you will be able to talk to your headset , make sure to press WIN+Y till you see in tour monitor a blue line in the top across the screen There are a lot of commands described in WMR portal documentation speech recognition, like "turn left", "turn Right", "inicio"(in my system is spanish) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-speech-in-windows-mixed-reality-af24e0a9-7e17-b542-3720-203e278e588e "Flashlight on/off" will activate/deactivate the passtrough so you will be able to see your desktop like the photo I sent in the post THen launch DCS and The headset will be capable to response your words. Hope it helps to you. All this works ingame, or while flying. Make sure not to turn on your wmr controllers or else the flashlight will point where the controllers are aiming. Is an option of WMR portal, so is present all the time, only you must tell the system to hear your reverb G2 microphone as in the image below

this is my curve setup with my winwing orion, and fits perfect withe the orion hotas base throttle detents.
-
also you can use the flashlight option to see through and view your desktop , I use it to touch my thrustmaster panels, try to enable voice recognition, in my case I say "linterna activada" (I am spanish) and it enables the passtrough, think the correct word in your case will be "enable flashlight or flashlight enable (or On)" To exit the view "flashlight off". It is very useful for pit users, breaks a little the inmersion but is the price to pay for vr users. Another thing, remember to have your VR controllers off, if not you will see where they are pointing null

Mirage F1 having major feedback issues
firefox121 replied to Prog1080's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
Try to see the axis page an search for every axe and find if they are binded to more than one device. Sometimes, DCS assigns for example the throttle axe to the pitch or roll axe , or your rudder axe to the pitch and roll too. Make sure you are binding in the mirage f1 ce module, that is the one is playable just now. Hope it helps -
There is a keybinding to remove it inflight , search for "radar cover remove toggle" and assign whatever key combo you like , but if you remove it inflight can´t attach it again till next flight or landing ( I think, never tried to put it on in the parking zone when landed)
-
with the mod 3dmigoto installed on your bin folder, Activate it in game (SHIFT + f7) if I remember well and go to the correct page and disable apache rotor ..... if you cant find the page , in your d3dx_user.ini file found in the 3dmigoto folder search for the string :rotorhide and make sure it is equal to 1, this must hide the rotor blades. Hope This Helps and you can enjoy one of the best helo module for DCS

Super annoying WMR Windows popup screen - How do I get rid of it?
firefox121 replied to sirrah's topic in Virtual Reality
Here is my experience, hope it helps. This windows appears only on tree situations. 1- You press the window button on your LEFT controller, in WMR pages from microsoft, in the special reverb thread is a way to block this via registry, if you use an xbox gamepad, pressing the central x logo button will sow also this anoying window. 2 - You say "go to start" I think, (I am spanish and it appears with "ir a inicio" and the voice recognition enables this start window. 3 - is possible that you have a button in your hotas binded to the "win key" look in your controls and press the win key to see if is binded to some function. here is a way to disable the win function in the controllers, bur if you press the win key it will appears 4 - Other way is to disable via sofware or via switch the win key in your keyboard (most of the gaming keyboards have a "gaming switch" that disables win key -
hello, problem solved, in the last update the fly-to path is more sensitive and if I am not very careful with collective input disappears quickly up in my ihadds at the moment I apply collective and not push my ciclic foward, wen I reach a steady flight it comes back "wherever it was gone" lol
-
In missions with hot start, the flight indicator cue -o- is not shown until changing to copilot seat and going back to pilots seat.

Unable to launch non-Steam DCS using WMR (Reverb G2) with StreamVR.
firefox121 replied to tn_prvteye's topic in VR Bugs
Try two things, First WIN+Y to disable the overlay in Reverg 2 (the blue line in the top of the monitor indicates if is ON/OFF(no blue line) ), then move your mouse and see if you can view the mouse cursor, if so, click on the dcs window and you must see the cursor Also turn off the Reverb controllers, The search in the VR options menu to click use mouse. -
Awesome!!!, waiting for relese, if you put now a pre-purchase,my bank account will drop for sure, counting days till the release....hope before august. Keep the good working

Orion throttle Q: Axis setting without SimAPPpro?
firefox121 replied to Gideon312's topic in Winwing
Hi, you must be sure your throttle orion is NOT configured to 32 buttons, also check the two sliders are just like in the photo, to use like sliders , just put them all foward, you must see a blue line, also click on swich mode to see only the blue line, not circle dots with numbers inside. , also cli -
thanks, don't know if is easy or not, hope aerges think different, of course with or without ffb I'll buy it as soon asthey launch the module
-
Don't know if the mirage F1 was fly by wire, but are going the developers to contemplate the use of ffb joysticks and its response ? (for example firing cannon , missiles or stall loses?)

firefox121 replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
just put a semicolon first in the second line of opencomposite ini then if I remember well you'll se a error on line 7, make the same thing, I didn't try to delete the file, but think in the latest versions are no longer needed. In fact I have no longer the file in my dcs bin folder -
correct as-is Extreme unstable on rudder/torque while taxing...
firefox121 replied to TZeer's topic in DCS: AH-64D
I posted somewher this solution, it works for me, is a little dificult to change my muscle memory to pus down instead of push only but works perfect for me, now I am capable to control the beast more accurate . -
It says the video is private te, can´t see it
-
Same happens to me, I discovered that usually puts my finger in the cameras when I catch my headset to put it on my heda, cleaned them with a glass mop cleaner solved some of the issues, till I figured out how much light dependant are the reverb g2. In a room with very low light levels doesn´t work well, so I must play with lights on and monitor off
-
sometimes happens to me with my 3080 ti, I solve it unpluggin and pluggin into the usb port, I noticed that in most cases happens when I plug first my joysticks devices and then try to connect the hmd, so, first I open WMR portal and then plug mi devices.
