Your apparent lack of understanding is what is absurd :thumbup: ED have a vested financial interest in having the 3rd-party development succeed as a result of the contractual relationship between ED and Beczl studios, never mind the Goodwill vested in the endevour, which in itself is probably the most important factor to consider.

There exists a contractual relationship between ED and Beczl studios so he will be well-aware of the current status quo. As he is further the PR-guy of ED, keeping us happy by alleviating Community fears is why he made the statement he did - it definitely DOES NOT mean that ED have now taken over development.

Here you go: For your activation history, you can navigate to the following site: http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php Enter your serial# and click 'Serial Number Parameters'. It will show you exactly what you have done with your serial and when you done it.

Somewhere on the Starforce website there is a utility where you enter your serial and it brings up your entire activation/deactivation history, telling you inter alia how many activations you still have left. See if you can find it - on my phone atm but I'll see if I can find the link later if you still need it.

OK, navigate to your DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/Flaming Cliffs/bin folder and open it. Find the fc3_protect file and double-click to open. Click the 'Activate or deactivate product' checkbox and follow instructions.

You do not need FC2. You do however need to activate the FC3 module. It should have asked you to enter your SF serial when you ran your first FC3 mission. I'll see if I can figure out how you can manually activate and let you know.

That's inevitable if the worst-case scenario comes to being: Out of Sight, Out of Mind........Either way, I hope we find out soon enough - the suspense is killing me. In any event, this matter has a silver lining in that it will serve as a jolly good wake-up-call for all the Dev teams out there at present in that they are to make pretty damned sure that the business-aspect is pretty well tied-up, ie contracts regarding employment/development et al are water-tight, relationships well-defined/contractually sound etc etc. That is the only way to ensure that any '...disagreements and financial issues......' as mentioned on Beczl's site have no chance of seriously derailing a project mere months from finalization. It's a crying shame is what it is.

Ain't this the truth! There's good reason why avarice is one of the seven deadly sins. I would feel better if Beczl posts a wee update. Until then, we would all do good to step away from the keys and patiently await the only acceptable solution, ie continuation of the project.
