  1. Not sure If I have to request this for all aircraft or not. But For the love of god please get rid of the tacky reflections in the cockpit. It makes looking outside unbearable. It it isn't realistic.
  2. Hi, I have an ongoing issue with WMR VR, I am using the original Samsung Odyssey. This is something that I noticed the other day and is making DCS unplayable. When in an aircraft (doesn't matter what) I have notice that any movement created a very nauseating janky effect (not too different from screentearing, but instead of it looking like the screen it was like the aircraft I was sat in. I noticed a couple of thing from this: looking on the 2d mirror view on my monitor, the jankieness was not present at all, I could see it in the VR headset but not in the mirror. The issue seemed to be greatly reduced when I selected another tab or window on the computer so that DCS wasn't the main window. Hoping someone can shed some light on this issue as I can no longer play this game that I have spent so much time and money on.
  3. No you aren't getting it. In the P47 you can hear other p47s that are on the ground way more clearly than the own engine. I could hear other planes very clearly over the aircraft and not my own. This is not the same in all the other modules, the sound of the other aircraft is much lower. Hence this is a bug.
  4. I have hear like in helmet on. It may be the case that that's how dcs operates, however with the P47 is is massively unrealistic.
  5. It may be quieter than other planes but that shouldn't mean another aircraft, ie another p47 or a christen Eagle being louder than the aircraft you are sat in. Again I use real world examples of me sat in an idling piper warrior at Duxford with a hawker sea fury flying overhead at low level, I could only just hear the sea fury. With normal Takeoff power set I wouldn't have heard it. Whilst I'm not saying the sounds for the P47 aren't good, I am saying there is clearly a config issue with them.
  6. THIS. Just like the prop aircraft issue https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4442676#post4442676 For some reason everything we see is like how a camera would show the effects, not at all something that is present in real life at all. In fact in vr the shadows on the helis are pretty nauseating.
  7. Why has this thread merged with one about the prop when it's bent? Not at all relevant to the propellor visibility issue.
  8. Hi all, I have noticed this on too many aircraft now. Even on the new p47. Please remove all the fake reflections on the canopy glass any anywhere else, they do not add to anything (especially in vr) as they stand out and look tacky. Either real time reflections or none at all.
  9. Can you confirm prop improvements will be for all aircraft or just the jug???
  10. Hi all, I've noticed when I go into the furthest level of zoom vr feels very janky even though my fps are still similar to normal. Has anyone else had this?
  11. Hello, There is a glaring issue in the p47 sounds, in that you can hear other aircraft over the engine that is right in front of you. It may not be the loudest war bird but in my experience when you are inside an aircraft you can barely hear any thing else. I have only ever heard one plane over myself sitting at idle in a p28(with my headset off!!!!) and that was a hawker sea fury at 300mph and 200ft performing a practice display at duxford. So if me and my small aircraft can just about only hear that, why is it that I can hear every single aircraft over the p47. Including the CEII!!!!! (disregard video quality) Please fix this, it is terribly unrealistic. Also please not my feedback regarding audio levels for all other aircraft.
  12. Yeah it is very noticeable on landing. Fyi i have had a complete pc reinstall and the noise is still there.
  13. I agree with you. I would say this is just part of a much larger issue that needs to be worked on. However i'm not even sure ED have acknowledged that?
  14. Hello, In the spitfire reflections are baked into the glass. Please remove them and do not replace them with anything unless there is the intention of using real time reflections. It is massively distracting and tacky looking. This applies to all aircraft with this 'reflection'.
  15. Hi there, I have been going on about the ffb problem for years. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=250670
  16. It would be odd if it didn't at least cough into life.
  17. But that's the thing, you can't see the prop... So if you said you can, you are most likely saying it to not admit you are wrong.
  18. No worries. I know the mod, but this shouldn't need to be modded, as with the lighting updates it has bade the texture stand out more than the already unrealistic levels... Irl you can't see a prop that much
  19. As with pretty much all prop aircraft in dcs, the model is poor. Adds to the performance issues and isn't realistic. Please look at this screenshot to see the horrible effect it makes.
  20. I have noticed that fps jumps up ~10 fps when the window isn't selected.
  21. Can you see them in the screenshot? I know it shows hear like in headset not checked but that was just me testing. Not really sure that any of them make that much difference since world just controls external view and in cockpit is the only one that has that effect. Although it can also be heard loud outside for me. Must be something different in the actual file structure, maybe some incorrect sounds or the sound config in there. I have no sound mods on of course.
  22. Hmm, very odd. I have attached my settings, pretty much the same. I am wondering if there is a larger issue going on here. In multiplayer I was taxing when I could hear an Idling CEII over the p47 which is obviously not correct. Are you on the Open beta or a private test branch? It seems like we have very different sound experiences currently.
  23. Have you tried it with the 'hear like in headset' setting enabled? That seems to be the issue. Apologies for the poor quality audio, but you can hear the tire noise over everything at the start, the noise goes away as soon as i'm in the air.
  24. Hello, whilst taking off I have notice the tire noise is so loud it drowns out the engine and prop. I've yet to find an aircraft that i've flown in that has this irl. This was tested with hear like headset enabled.
