  1. Yeah without vr you don't actually notice the large drop in frame rates, it exists but I isn't critical or even noticeable unless you are looking for it!
  2. It is a bug as this does not happen with any other aircraft apart from the two mentioned above. I couldn't fly in vr for months because I thought my rig wasn't good enough. The issue still exists without VR. As I have said Nineline had already confirmed the bug for the Yak52 and I was just informing you all that it exists for the anton. Not sure why it is being disputed. I have spent a long time testing. No other aircraft has a 30fps drop when the engine starts, which gets worse when more of the same type are added. If you fly in a mission or server where there are no Yak52s or Antons other than yourself you probably won't see it
  3. I'm sorry I don't understand? This is already a known bug with the yak-52 and I was just making sure they was aware the Anton also has this issue. Are you saying the frame rate is supposed to drop?
  4. Hi, I have discovered an issue that persists with the FW190 A8 and the Yak-52. I have already informed nineline about this but thought a bug report would be useful. The issue appears to be linked with shadows and when they are turned on or is possibly made worse by shadows. On the ground with the engine off in 2D I get 190-200fps. In VR I get 60-70. When the engine is running and prop spinning in 2D the fps drops to 120-140. In VR 25-35 fps. If shadows are turned off the fps increased a fair amount but there is still a drop. The issue is noticeable in Multiplayer more, If someone joins In a Yak or Anton the frame rates deteriorate and only get worse as more join in the same type. I hope this information is useful. Here is a video uploaded in the yak, showing the issue, the same happens in the fw190a8
  5. +1 this has always been the case with Nevada. The mountains look smooth which is not correct
  6. Appologies, here is the track. It can be achieved by turning on all systems. Prop to manual, decrease pitch, set to auto. The prop then sets to high rpm and jumps up. Prop pitch jumping.trk
  7. The tf51 in dcs isn't actually a tf51. It is a p-51 with the fuel tank and seat armour removed and a rear seat added. A true Tf-51 is one with dual controls. I'm not sure if they actually existed in ww2 or if they are a retrofit mod in later year Edit: would be cool to have it so people can sit in the rear seat of the tf51 just to look around
  8. On the ground if you change the propeller pitch manually then switch it to auto, It instantly jumps to max rpm without adjusting properly.
  9. There is indeed a need for it! Each aircraft feels different at the controls, F-18, F-14, Su-27 etc. Some sticks are harder to move some easier, some have stick shakers, get stiffer as you accelerate etc. I won't go back to non FFB however the brunner one doesn't use the default ffb in windows so it won't work with dcs. I'm still using a MSFFB2
  10. +1 I think the prop has some fps issues like the yak experiences once the prop is turning the fps tanks as well.

  14. Is it possible to tune the ffb effects that aren't ones that would be felt through the control column such as taxing and wake turbulence. The changes in resistance makes flying awkward. It would be nice if you could change it in the special options tab I have noticed that when reducing the effects in the axis tab it doesn't actually reduce the effects i would like it to.

  16. Does anyone have an Idea when the fw190a8 will be be getting some attention? It has plenty of bugs that have been around since its release along with only three liveries!
  17. There are many issues which make it unplayable, are there any intentions to fix and complete this module? Just because it isn't a number one seller does not mean it is acceptable to leave the module in a broken state.

  19. Ah fair enough, felt like a bit of a struggle in vr. Would be nice if it was easier but it isn't anything game breaking haha

  21. It is not possible to select High supercharger by clicking through the switch. You can select, low or auto but that is it. When I pressed the keybind to select high it did not stay in position unless the key was held down, once released it went back to low.
  22. +1 My msffb2 is amazing but it would be so much better having a modern equivalent. It changes everything! It doesn't matter what aircraft you fly it can be implemented to feel like you are at the control of THAT aircraft.
  23. Correct and I don't think that you can use vor's in the f-16? At least our version right now. Only ILS and TACAN
  24. The distance is set by using a DME (eg. tacan or the nav computer) ils does not provide a dme
