  1. French rebuilt FW-190A8. At the end of 1944 several FW190 A8 and A5 were found abandoned in a bunker at Cravant. SNCAC(Société nationale des constructions aéronautiques du Centre) recovered many of these to reequip the reborn french airforce. The new designation was NC900, this is a depiction of the serial #52, type A8 DOWNLOAD
  2. FW-190A8 captured by USAAF of 404th FG. It was painted in orange-red, the JG4 insignia was misteriously preserved from painting. Initially it was damaged, after gear restoration the Maj. Leo Moon(cmdr of 404th FG) was ready on the ramp, but an oil leakage prevented him to start the take-off run: it never returned to fly and later abandoned in St. Trond, Belgium. DOWNLOAD Photo:
  3. FW-190A8 captured by USAAF, in use by 356th FS of 354th FG. The colour scheme was Deep Blue with a Lemon Yellow band on the fuselage and canopy, the rudder was painted with red & white stripes. The extremely big roundels differ in many details from the standard ones. . The canopy was initially damaged and reconstructed adding a reinforced ring. DOWNLOAD A B&W reference photo
  4. Very nice skin, the only thing I would change is the tone of gray of the default 370gal fueltanks that you've used as base for the custom Makos ones: I don't know why ED don't used the same light gray of the undersides... And the difference for the 300gal centerline is even more noticeable…

Yes, at QD1 PCi-E 4.0 from Corsair/Gigabyte/Sabrent are a bit below the Samsung 970, but they compensate a lot with improved latency and double speed of sequential readings when bigger files (like textures or models) are loading. Probably they still have an immature firmware that can improve over times. Samsung on the other hand have a very good NVME dedicated driver and firmware, I'm curious what the announced 980 Pro can achieve...
  7. DCS loads thousands of small lua files before starting a mission stressing a lot the SSDs in random readings. In this case, the best of the best for PCI-E 3.0 motherboards are the optane 900P and 905P in the AIC or U2(some packages have an M2 adaptor too) form factor. The Optanes are well known for very low latency and best performance in random readings (about 250mb/s vs 40~70 of the "normal" M2 NVME SSD). This performance come at big price sadly...5-6 times the price of a good 1TB Nvme SSD. Since the 905P 960GB was totally out of budget for me, I've choosen the HP EX950 1TB with better random readings than Samsung 970 Pro & Evo Plus. BTW, if you're one of the lucky guy with an X570 mobo you can buy a PCI-E 4.0 M2 and obtain a massive performance jump everywhere.
  8. Ok, about 2 months ago another guy manifested the same crashlog. We have added this to bugtracker to investigate further, but no promises, since any of the team was able to reproduce it.
  9. Sorry, any of the team have FacetrackNoIR/Opentrack/Freetrack to test this behaviour. Moreover those systems are not support by ED itself. By the way a guy with Opentrack have managed to make it working, take a look if this can be of help:

Hi Sushi, those errors are always present, but they will not crash DCS: they are caused due to our mod (like every not official ED Mod with custom cockpit, i.e. A-4E) doesn't carry an ILV file along the edm model of the cockpit Try to attach here your full dcs.log (only this file, in zipped form using the CLIP button), and we may see what really is causing DCS to crash.

Ho provato a darci una occhiata: di critico sul 339 non c'è nulla, gli errori si riferiscono a 2 file in particolare relativi alla chat eventi, a seguito poi si verifica l'ACCESS VIOLATION della dll del terreno. I 2 file sono MissionEditor/modules/mul_chat.lua sulla riga 700 sull'evento takeoff e 707 sull'evento Landing MissionEditor/GameGUI.lua sulla riga 352 (funzione onGame event) all'esecuzione della riga 355 (Chat.onGameEvent...) Non saprei nemmeno se gli errori su chat e terreno sono correlati. Altra cosa riguarda come hai strutturato la missione: vedendo le caratteristiche del tuo PC e confrontandole con i requisiti raccomandati sei un po' borderline per RAM e scheda video (loro consigliano una 1070 o una Vega con 8GB e 32gb di ram per missioni pesanti). Prova a diminuire il numero di oggetti in mix, oppure abbassa i dettagli grafici al minimo.
  12. My PC it's 2 years old and have 2 USB-C , front and rear, but type -C was first introduced in 2015... 5 years ago. I think that unless you have an ITX format or a mini-pc, you should have 1 of this free: if you exclude phone/tablet cables, very few external peripheral use this connector(just now some external M2 SSD are coming with USB-C). By the way, some gaming motherboard have an hybrid TypeA Gen 2 (red instead of blue) that can draw up to 1.5A
  13. I think that for most of us USB addon card is redundant and a loss of money. Instead, most of our PC have USB TypeC that can afford the power draw and stability required by the Reverb I don't know if HP design have flow in this, since the cable is USB 3.1 it should max draw 900mA, but anyway USB-C can push by design up to 3A@5V more than 3 times the normal USB 3.0 specifications. I'm using a short USB to USB-TypeC adapter bought from Amazon and not found issues with it.

Ah, ma la presenza argentina ti assicuro che c'è:lol: Io invece la polemica la volevo ribadire: come già detto la realizzazione della base RAF di Mount Pleasent disturba clamorosamente ogni ricostruzione storica. Come è noto tutta la guerra argentina contro il gigante UK è nata proprio per quello: era un isola isolata, scarsamente protetta, l'unica pista asfaltata era cortissima (ed in merito per farci volare i 339 le testate furono allungate con delle grelle…) e gli unici asset aerei inglesi sul posto erano navali (i Gr3 della RAF operavano su portaerei prima della battaglia di San Carlos ed i Phanthom FGR2 partivano dall'isola di Ascensione...3000nm più su) Qua viene il punto: Razbam sta ricreando tutta la flotta navale dell'epoca, quindi ci si aspetterebbe una certa aderenza storica, ha annunciato i moduli Sea Harrier e Pucarà, ma metterci la base posteriore all'82 solo per la gioia di chi vorrebbe il cold start invece di partire in volo a 300nm mi sembra deleterio. Si poteva benissimo fare a meno, tanto chi volesse crearci missioni non storiche gli basterebbe buttare una portaerei USA per volarci con i vari Hornet e Tomcat e perché no anche la Tarawa e la Kuznestov… D'altra parte, se alla mappa Normandia avessero messo Evreaux con la pista postWW2 da 3 km non vi sareste incaxxati uguale?:D
  17. Hi, all the livery of this package should be refreshed to adapt to the new pilot body and helmet. I don't see Kizir active in the last months. In the meantime I've fixed my helmet decal to conform to new standard. I've redone the patches tex to adapt better to new pilot body Uncompress in AV8BNA liveries folder, under USA VX-5_Night Attack subfolder, confirm overwrite USA VX-5_Night Attack Fix.zip

Yesterday the WMR plugin has been updated again: https://steamcommunity.com/games/719950/announcements/detail/1691596648443063622 The changelog is reporting a scaling improvement for Reverb BTW, I think that people reporting problems should indicate what version of plugin and SteamVR are in use...

Mah... eppure mi ricordo una vecchia intervista di Wags quando si passò da DCS A-10 a DCS World, più o meno a memoria questo erano le sue parole: DCS world verrà costantemente aggiornato con nuovi contenuti, i moduli acquistati verranno aggiornati di pari passo “free of charge” con le nuove tecnologie disponibili... sarà la crisi ma evidentemente questa strada per loro non è più economicamente sostenibile...
  23. Not all airports are reported here and by the way Pratica di Mare or Ciampino had marginal role in Operation Allied Forces. Pisa were the detachment of the tankers Kc-10 and Kc-135 employed, Falconara home base for many UN cargo supplies. Ghedi, Piacenza and Solenzara, involved too, would require to extend the map more and more... About what you call “WRONG LOCATION”, I think you’re missing the point that this is a very low resolution map that is not reporting any Lat&Lon lines, so it’s absolutely a pointless correction...
  24. Alcune delle livree che citi sono già presenti nel pacchetto: Malaysia, UAE ed Argentina. Per visualizzarle devi cambiare country nel mission editor. Della tua lista Nuova Zelanda ed Eritrea non hanno mai avuto la versione A ma la CB e CE rispettivamente.
  25. Microsoft have just updated their beta plugin of Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR to 1.1.39: Fixed an issue resulting in graphics-related crashes for a small number of users. Fixed an issue resulting in reduced visual quality when playing some titles. Moreover Valve have pushed another update: now both beta and release version of SteamVR are aligned with 1.9.13
