This isn't exactly an F-14 question, but how many Jet Blast Deflector's were on the Forrestal Class Aircraft Carriers? I saw a video of a Tomcat that pushed another Tomcat's front end with its front gear lodged into the catwalk due to the lack of Jet Blast Deflectors

From the list, F/A-18C no question. But the other plane that I would take is the F-14 Tomcat.

If you wanna get up and go, without watching long 45 minute videos, theres 1 minute DCS videos on youtube, they helped me a fair bit, but reading and asking questions with the community then putting them into practice will go a long way, also get Tacview, it'll give you a much better understanding of what you can improve on, I mean that's what made me better at DCS.

At this point, I'm just gonna wake up on the 7th of Oct and throw my wallet at my screen.

What was it like to have real F-14 pilots try out the Tomcat in DCS? Also I forgot to ask, but will the F-14A/B in DCS have the DFCS?

Did the F-14D have Fly-By-Wire?

My flight stick hinders me from Aerial refueling due to the amount of dead zones it has, so I end up over compensating what should be like a 1mm adjustment. So you're waaaaaay better than me that's for damn sure.

Depends, sometimes I'm lazy and just wanna fly casually, other times I don't.
