  1. As in a usb to Ethernet adapter? Just curious, what does that offer differently that hard wiring straight into the motherboard Ethernet slot doesn’t? Thank you!
  2. Any fix to this? I just switched from OTT to VD and man. It’s been something. Thought I had it set up good, runs great and has beautiful performance. Then maybe after about 5-10 minutes of flying I get a terrible stutter/buffer that interrupts audio as well every 10 seconds consistently (I timed it and it drove me insane). I switch back to wired and I can fly all day with zero issues. Granted it doesn’t look as good but it works. I've tried switching codecs etc.. and no luck. I have an intel i9-9900k, RX 9070xt, DCS on an NVME 2.0 and 64gb ram. Not sure what else to do. At least for VD. Any pointers?
  3. Any update on a fix for this?
  4. Just played this last night for a bit before I had to get off for the work weekend and loved it. Using an ancient 1080Ti and quest 2 and it still performed beautifully in VR. I didn’t have much time to do much messing around but was curious if there are troop insertion missions or abilities? Keep up the good work!
  5. Can confirm. Thanks a lot for this. Just got my interior Apache sound replacements working again.
  6. Having a hell of a time editing the M240H sounds. Messed with the SDEF's all night and no change. Still the default "New M60" sounds.
  7. Spooky season coming up
  8. Sorry if it's been stated before, but are the AI door gunners functional while flying the 47? I can set the 47 out as AI and the gunners operate but they do not do anything when I'm flying the bird. No crew status menu or anything? Thanks!
  9. Just throwing my two cents, I play with a 1080Ti, quest 2 VR. Had some microstutters but switched to 30 Hz with 1.2 pixel density set in Oculus Tray tool. Also deleted Fx0 and metashaders in Saved Games\DCS. I have no issues with performance and it plays very well. Only issue now is VRAM being used to a horrific extent.
  10. Nice! I switched to 90Hz to test yesterday and had some lag surprisingly. Switched back to 72 and had none. Also disabled quad views turbo though after switching back to 72 so I may switch to 90 and see if there is a difference there. Can’t really see the difference with 90 and 72Hz to be honest.
  11. Any tips or steps on how or what you used to stop forcing the FPS? Did you set it through the simulator itself or from an app?
  12. Thanks for the info. I knew OTT had to be running in the background, just new and trying to figure out how to tweak and mess with the others. Got everything working though! OTT seems to run just fine regardless of when launched which is nice. Thanks again.
  13. Just an update for anyone with similar specs and build. Set everything to low, launched OTT with 30Hz ASW and 1.0 PD. Game ran smooth. Upped textures a bit to the medium(ish) range and increased PD to 1.3 and stuck with 30Hz ASW, buttery smooth. Occasional stutter but barely noticeable and only when flying into a heavily populated building area such as a city. Will continue to mess around and test.
  14. That may be the case. I’ll tone it down and see how it works. Thanks
  15. Once I get back home I’ll mess with textures a bit. Frustrating but also expected. VR can be a mess. Lots of tweaking to do.
  16. Wild that you’re having issues with a 4090
  17. Do I still need to launch openXR or quad views companion? I launch both and OTT as well. Should I launch with or without one or the other?
  18. Same here. Did you have issues on last update at all?
  19. You’re still having stuttering issues as well?
  20. Done, still stutters. Swapped the dll’s for quad views and everything. I can launch DCS with 30Hz ASW on 1.3 or 1.4 and the stutter is significantly less but still noticeable at times. I was able to run it without ASW on last patch through tray tool. Weird. Out of ideas.
  21. Had everything the same from last settings used with last update. 1.4 pixel density only set through OTT and 1 for in game. Still stuttering even after rebuild/repair. Very frustrating. Nothing changed at all settings wise except for updated sim version.
  22. I just re installed the original dll. Doing another repair as well. I'll update! You'd be surprised, the 1080Ti has been awesome for me. Wish I had the time and budget for another card but it does the job. I made it work last update, just wish it was so finicky making VR smooth in general.
  23. Last patch (Broken or not) I was able to figure out the stuttering problem. Deleted metashaders and FXO folders, set oculus tray tool settings and ran openXR. Also did a repair build just in case. SOMEHOW, one or all of those solved my VR microstutter issues. I update today, glad to see some fixes and the VR hand controllers back, and the stutter is back. I don't have the best build so forgive me in advance, but I was able to get a solid over 60FPS with zero stutters on VR last update, now I'm not. Really losing hope here. Any help would be great. Using OTT, quad views, process lasso. Build is a 1080TI and i9 9900K with a Quest 2 (yeah not great but works lol). Any ideas? Thanks! Also have 32gb ram.
  24. I agree. We all want a fixed and working patch. Hell we all want a fixed and working game. The frustration seems to be aimed at the delegation of resources and focus put into HOW they release patches. The consistent and repetitive delays, especially recently, don't show us much to further support. I will always support ED, that's not the issue, but the logistics needs to be revamped a little for sure. Wouldn't go too far as to say the PR absolutely needs to be worked on as well. Is what it is I guess, but not surprised.
  25. Ridiculous lol
