  1. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=241132
  2. ED will release multiple versions of the F-16, each as accurate as possible regarding historicity. Don't count out some weapons from never appearing, just a matter of when.... Could be 10 years from now.
  3. I hope this is the right subforum for this question. How does ED ensure the security of code of third party developers? For instance, would any third party be able to inject code that would be non-beneficial to users, aka spyware? Does ED check for source code of third party modules to ensure that third party developers are behaving properly?
  4. Let me put it this way, if ED can't figure out how to get the Valve Index to work properly, they'll be in a world of hurt and criticism. The Valve Index will probably sell better than any other VR system.
  5. If you don't want to buy the module for single player, then don't. If you don't want to buy the module for multiplayer, then don't. If you don't have the module and want to play on a server that uses it, then buy the module. If you don't have the module and you want to play on a server that uses it, then find a different server. This is not difficult to understand. In a year, most people who didn't want to buy it will probably have bought it, and the others will be happy in their own world.
  6. He could have just used the Su-25. I suppose you think he deserves the full experience with every map included for free.
  7. The person you described does not exist. If he actually does, can you provide his username? I seriously doubt there's a ton of players who just buy one module on discount and expect the full experience without the proper controllers.
  8. Yeah, and that same guy has no joystick, rudder pedals, throttle... Give me a break.
  9. You didn't already buy the dedicated carrier operations module, it's not even available.
  10. $500 thrustmaster warthog $400 mfg rudder pedals $150 TrackIR $600 VR system $300 video card $300 CPU $100 motherboard $500 monitor "$40 for complete carrier operations which includes ATC is just too much and will split the multiplayer community, and I will boycott ED, even though I already purchased the Hornet and want to use that module to its fullest extent!!!11"  You guys are unbelievable. I have a hard time believing that you can't afford $40 when you've already spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars already.
  11. If the server doesn't use the module, you'll still be able to use it on other servers or in single player.
  12. It's insane that people think they're entitled to the work of others. Just buy the damn module and move on with your life, you'll be a much happier person.
  13. I thought the whole point of the switch to actual cash is to get away from the pricing games and confusion? Points are being discontinued, why can't I just use them against the discount price?
  14. I have $89 in bonus cash, but I'm unable to use this towards the Fw purchase. Can this be fixed?

    I-16

Engine mixture needs an axis assignment in controls.
  16. The Valve Index does most things right, I pre-ordered it, and I guess a ton of other people agree. I might still get a Vive Pro Eye for wireless.
  17. The flight models of DCS are absolutely fantastic. Certainly better than FSX and X-Plane. As DCS gets better and better, the other sims will be harder and harder to tolerate. There's also a ton of people who would switch over to DCS if given the opportunity. For those who hate redundancy, I look forward to hearing from you how you dread that precious resources are spent on the F-16 module since BMS is an alternative.
  18. You're missing out on the Christen Eagle II, C-101, and Dora. :D Do you have the Hawk? :joystick:
  19. In the future, DCS: World will literally include the entire world, mapped out to a certain level of detail.
  20. I realize that there are training prop planes and training jet planes and an aerobatic plane, but I'd love a truly civilian aircraft like the 172 at the very least. Also, when DCS truly goes "world" with rendering between high resolution conflict areas (like Utah, California, Arizona, etc), having civilian aircraft would be a lot of fun.
  21. I would love to have civilian aircraft for learning how to fly. Cessna 172 Cirrus SR22 Piper Comanche Etc I feel like the X-Plane simulation is very lacking for flight models, and DCS would be a much better platform to work with. However, ATC interaction would still be very limited...
  22. I guess my question is whether the slew upgrade hardware fixed the problem or if it's more downstream in the wiring of the warthog.
  23. Does anyone remember Wags saying that the F18 slew normally requires button press/hold, then movement of the cursor, but he then modified the code to slew without button press? What is the status on this with the upgraded slew stick? Are we still limited by the thrustmaster software? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3720837&postcount=101
  24. My replacement came with the stick already on the joystick, so you should include disassembly instructions for this part... I tried twisting it to unscrew it, which obviously didn't work, but pulled it off after reading later steps in the instructions. Other than that, smooth install! Another improvement to the instructions would be to have an option to only disassemble the middle panel via 5 screws. This gives you better access to the interior compartment logic board and it also doesn't strain the other wires inside. Taking off the outside panel and stretching the wires was too much risk.
  25. It doesn't make much sense to have activation counts anyway since DCS checks with the server constantly to ensure proper license usage. If 10 machines are all using the same key at the same time, obviously something is wrong. I've lost several activations already because I've installed modules on different computer builds.
