  1. Hi Guys, thanks for your effort. I will check and test the mission during the weekend. Looking forward to see some nice missions with a lot of gazelles hopping through the field. cheers many happy landings and hovers
  2. Hey, yesterday I flew through a cable on NTTR which was unintended though. I did not loose the rotor. Maybe cause I did hit it with the cockpit and I only heard a thong sound that was it. Be aware, cables have to be cut the proper way. Either avoid them or hit them dead center on cockpit so they can slide into the cablecutters, which is the only way to ensure you hit the cable right and did not miss it.
  3. I would like to add some little joke to the soon question ;-) just for the cause of variety I say never
  4. Hi Robert, thanks for posting and your written words. We appreciate helicopters and proposals a lot. Right now we focus the release of the SA342 Gazelle and look into other helicopter after the release. I can not reveal anything, but who knows, maybe this helicopter will be available at some time in the future. She looks sexy in design that is for sure. About DCS and AS565 it is something totally different in terms of combat employment.
  5. and even more ;-)
  6. The picture is wrong. The copilot/wso/captain is not russian. He is german.
  7. Humans see the world at 50 hertz which is 25 frames per sec. 25 pictures intermiten by 25 none pictures
  8. The Tiger is wrong in shape. Watched the Video a couple times to see how well this is done. I am not commenting any further on the video. What would be kind is, when you have promotion of other devs, maybe post it in thier dev area ;)
  9. Hi, I am sorry, I can not share any documents outside of the company to anybody. I am sorry to say so. Some material might be confidential and the time and workload that is needed to check every page for its status makes it unable to share too. Cheers
  10. @dimitriov that is a superb description. Thanks
  11. I know of these links and my friends know them too. It is always hard to watch and feel what is left behind. Keep them in good memory
  12. Ohh I heard a lot of such near death stories. One of my friends nearly crashed into a radio tower once they flew through a valley in Germany and well, guess what, the tower has never been in the map info. Where this happened and what was the outcome is something I keep for myself, but stuff like that, what can be read in books, I sometimes got real life talks of. One of the pilots stated once to me: " during a flight a pilot makes about 100-200 mistakes. It is just a matter if they are lethal or not"
  13. Hey, nice find. I still rememer my janes f15/ f18/ lonbow 2 manuals. To be honest these manuals help always getting the hang of it. I had a look into some real tornado manuals a few weeks ago. Well to be honest, these manuals are soooooooo complex, I understand now why it is constant studying for 6 month in Holloman and I can tell you that it was only 2 manuals of many. In total the pure programming of a Tornado of todays standards in a sim would probably take 2-4 years of coding, depends on the number of coders.
  14. Well about how marketing is made depends not only on the country, but also on social background. But do not worry we do hear all of you, although it is silent at the moment. Count it as silence before storm ;-)
  15. Well what ever they plan, we are focusing the gazelle right now and try to see what else we like to do. Further down the line there is also the bo105 and the Ju87. As you all know we are all doing this job next to a normal day job which hopefully changes soon. If so, we will be able to produce faster in all regards, which gives us opportunities. About aircraft and future plans we will not leak to much for now. If a tornado is in production already by us or not will be kept secret for now, that is something i probably can state here. The reasons for it are obvious to all I guess. But we have more then only the announced in production, that is for sure, what, well in this case, I can only ask for patience and see for yourself soon. cheers Sven
  16. @shagrat well I know what you say there and yes even for us as developers it is hard sometimes. Developing, testing, day job, wives or girlfriends and some of us even have kids, plus new planes to learn if there is time for it. Bonus of development is, that you learn to fly the plane you develop fast, as you have to test it often. Promised though is, she is a joy to fly and i try to take her out on a short ride 2 - 4 times a week for 30 minutes, so I keep my balancing of training as it is hard to fly her without training as I had to learn the hard way. For sure, after you have as a pilot a few hours on her and get used to her more and more, ka50 and uh1 are real easy to fly, which is in my opinion a pro fact for the nimble helos. Ok this was more side info, now I need to get back to work as we have a plan ;-)
  17. Hey, it is not about showing you guys a finished release and not let you smell it. We thought it might be cool for you guys to have a new desktop background available and thought about sharing one of our renders at least in black and white. Still it is always interesting what you guys write.
  18. Little update as we prepare details here and there for the release. More of such pictures available soon Cheers
  19. @BFBunny: what do you exactly mean with your post? should the Ju87d5-g2 project of us be researchable on the internet search browsers? Maybe you can speciify a bit so we can answer your question.
  20. My grandfather always said "You can push, but if you push to hard it might break"
  21. @Hannibal: I did not have the time lately to think about a setup. I received pedal at Christmas from one of our teammembers and just got used to them lately. right now I am moving to a different apartment and I have my daytime job and the gazelle release in focus, so no time for building a setup at the moment. But I´d love to.
  22. any attack helicopter can fire it weapon on the move, but it is not done in practical terms if there is no particular need to it
  23. I have the feeling that people misunderstand the word "scout / light weight" There is no reason to compare a KA50 with a SA342M. They have different tasks and about piloting, a scout is not attacking direct, they hit and run, so you wait for targets to cross a fire line or approach them slowly and try to outsneak them. Uh1 is even a different deal then KA50 or SA342M. All the comparison is worth only a little, cause what is lacking the ka50 you will find in the gazelle, what the gazelle is lacking you will find in the ka50 or others. about thew copilot position and flying there is nothing bad to it. in reality it is possible too. A gazelle does not fight on the move, that is what we got as info, although they could, but it would minimise the effectivnes to 10% - 15% so no need to do so. In a battlefield you have to think smart or die.
  24. Hi, you can switch from pilot to the copilot seat back and forth.
