  1. No I am not working on this alone. We are still a Team of a few that hopefully will see new members soon.
  2. The arrival of the patch is up to the DCS patch and the integration. I hope people can hod thier breath for a few more days. Till then, happy flying
  3. Dear Customers and Followers, Today we have a rather nice announcement. We are opening up our doors for recruitment. What would we like to see? First, we are looking for coders to support our coding department and become part of new challenging projects. Requirements: Primarily, you must have experience with C++ and Lua. The applicant must have interest in airplanes and helicopters as that is our primary focus. Preferably, basic knowledge of aerospace, aerodynamics and general aircraft knowledge, but this is not a must as helicopters or planes consist of more than just wings. Those interested in working with us on future projects, please send me a personal message and I will respond to you with an email address for you to send your application and resume. I am looking forward to the messages and applications. Good luck, happy coding. Take care Sven Lead 3D artist/ CEO Polychop Simulations
  4. We prepare a list for checkrides right now. Nothing we can say yet but if there is anything to change we will take a look at it after we have received intel from the pilots.
  5. 23/08/2017 Common to all versions (1.5.7 and higher) - Main rotor head shapes correction - Tail rotor shapes and animation added - Sound no more playing after helicopter crash or else and reloading a new mission - Net arguments correction - Gun & Rockets Sight correction - No more persistent damages when starting a new mission with the helicopter crashed during a previous mission - Radios have been reworked : Now Communication menus are acess-able through "", "RShift+ " and "RCtrl+ " for VHF AM, VHF FM and UHF AM radios respectively - Corrected Gun sound - Fix for Radio issues are in the works Specific to 2.1.1 and higher versions - Textures updated (still WIP)
  6. Nothing has been cancelled yet. For me the stuka is more likely on a longer hault, or more a maybe status, cause at the moment we have no germn speaking coder and a translation of all the manuals available would cost around 65000 - 80000 € without any 0 or 1 programmed on the stuka so you see the mainissue. Starting the 3d model all over is not a big deal. it is a fairly easy plane.
  7. Hi. looks like it is the cockpit of a older version. minimum 15 years back. No EOMS panel and no airbags. @automan: I can not share anything about intentions or if intentons are already products in the making. If there will be news about such a bird it will be posted. Fact is, no matter how, making a high level of detail 3d model of a kiowa can take 1 year or more. there is a lot of research and most details you will not find online unfortunately.
  8. Yes had that during one of our latest testflights a few weeks ago on the nevadamap. It is noted down. Funny thing is, sometimes it happened, and sometimes it did not. Same server, same setup. Only reloaded the game completely and it was gone. Then on the oter test, I did a hard landing, rejoined with a new helo, bam, issue back again. This occured after the update of Nevada to the new PBR engine. As you can see, we had the same issues too. Only way of getting this fixed at the moment is to restart the game I fear, cause currently we had that only 2 times and could not reproduce it on my side.
  9. nice speculations. interesting find, but first, the shown model is the the vanilla model of DCS and the real kiowa has no bladetip lights as far I know and I have not seen any switch or fuze for such in the cockpit or did I miss something? this is no statement or what so ever, I just like the bird a lot and it is one of my top 3, next to the tigre HAD and AH64D block 2. I hope we can share some news at some point this summer. let me tease you guys at least one more time. the pilots assigned to the tester team of something that is in the pipeline, have together at the moment 7500 flighhours on her. she is flown by numerous countries. all out testpilots are from one country. cheers ;)
  10. Hi, We have not made any statement yet cause not all is solved yet. I will not make any huge statement about the past months at the moment, cause the split process is still in progress. We are also working on updating the Gazelle texture wise and during the past weeks some research about the FM was done by some professionals, but, these people never flew the french version. So we have an idea at the moment what could be changed but as stated before, end of june the french should be avaiable again. Then new research could start which will also take a few weeks. In addition we are working on a different project. For now we try to keep projects secret to a certain level of development. The tendency of customers pressing on projects is something that can in certain circumstances influence the quality of a product either way. We still want to deliver some of the best helicopter add ons/ sims if possible, so we think it is also important to not have to much pressure from the customers. As soon the split is finished we will make some statements. Thanks a lot for your comprehension
  11. We will research. Currently it is not sure where this might come from. Found some crash bugg in the ka50 today when i was hit, my game crashed.
  12. Select plane as pilot 1. Startup the bird. let him join as soon all is up, might cause issues in the multicrew code if he joins before the bird is running. then pilot 2 selects slot 2. permission promted your buddy has to hit brefing and then fly.
  13. neither in kaukasus or nevada such coordinates. should. be needed, but I will talk to the coding department.
  14. We are aware of that shading bugg cause the Gazelle currently does not have PBR based textures. We are working on an update already that will address the textures.
  15. ok you can also unplug trackir while ingame and plug it back in. should work then.
  16. holbeach, just turn off autopilot and gyro and try again ;) just had a flight with a brit chickenleg rider on the weekend. nice stories and intel. to hear and also gaining inputs on certain things was awesome. what he stated, without ap. and gyro she gets close to what a gazelle is in the brits inventory.
  17. hey, I do not know if this would cause issues, but there is a fair chance it might. Plus there is more to it then just changing a texture in general. About updates, well I will check what we plan and how we want to communicate certain topics to our customers.
  18. About modding. Please understand that modding can harm the Airbus License, as we did present them a certain product range, for which we are responsible. If someone moddifies a model or a product in a certain way, that it is a new product in its appearance, not talking about some skins or textures in first place, he does violate some laws and also rules of trust between customer and contractor, that can, under certain circumstances cause trouble on the developers side, which nobody likes to have. I personally do dislike the idea to explain to manfacturer officials what is happening, if someone modifies a product he does not own and that might not be in favour of the license giving company. I do not want to say this could happen, but you never know , cause manufacturers are all very different in handeling a license and the aftermath
  19. We are still waiting for updates on the multicrew side. It was stated before that this is related to the multicrew functionality. As soon solutions are there we will integrate them into the module. Thanks for your comprehension and trust
  20. please switch of the FFB controls flag in the setup
  21. @BaD CrC: The idea of havng a live event with one of the french guys sounds like fun, but I doupt that this would be possible at all, cause we also have the responsibility to protect our sources, cause as stated before, some of the sources are active pilots that do fight in not so pleasent wars too. Maybe in the future, the department I am talking too at the moment, could open up and do an interview. I can ask them but the first question will be like, what is this for and what questions do the people of the community have, plus in that case it is a real department of the army, not just a single pilot. Maybe I could arrange a live event where some people of the community could be invited into the comms chat and this could be published as livefeed throught twich or so. This depends on the availability of the pilots. I can imagine that one of them might be willing to do such, but that would have to be planned and there would be some questions that are no goes, for example names, or missions the pilot has been active in or where he fought in general, stuff like that. So for such an event, if the pilot is willing to do such, this would require some planning. For a different helicopter that I am working on I know that this livefeed and interview would defenately be possible, cause as soon the pilot, I am working with in that project, hears about that idea he is more then happy to go for it, I can imagine, plus, he is a good friend of mine. BaD CrC, thanks for the inspiration for some cool marketing events possible to get closer ties to the community in the future again after all this silence. Maybe the best question asked that day, wins a price. Have to see. Ok, back to work, need to get something finished so it can go into coding.
  22. I have no idea how the guys managed to climb inverted, I have never managed to do so in the DCS:SA342M. I also faced numerous times VRS where others stated there is none or people state that there is no groundeffect, although i certainly feel it start at 1 dics and getting more pronounced at 3/4 of a dics and increasing. Tereare certain ways to test things, but as said before, please, I can only ask for patience. In the meanwhile I keep on working on a Polychop Skunkwork/ Phantomworks project. And no, the name has no relationship to the project.
  23. You know there is a difference between a program and real phisics acting on a rotor? also there is a huge difference if we talk about 3d rc helos or real helos? Plus have you read the article? Again, I am witing for detailed responces fom the french army. I will not spoil which department, cause it is a matter of trust, but yes, we gave 6 modules to them as a present to evaluate our product in terms of what we are allowed to change if we want and what we will have to look into from thier point of view. Unfortunately, as they have more serious stuff to do then play our game, they are fighting a war in mali still today, we all have to wait a bit for responses, which sometimes takes a bit. And i hope you can comprehend, that we prefer to listen to the guys that fly them every day and as soon we have the aswers we need, we can get back to work on the fm. I can only ask kindly to have patience. Who is not able to have patience is an unpatient personality :D :D :D So in the meantime I et back to what I am working on and prepare further stuff for programming. enjoy your weekend
  24. Will see. Depends on some factors, mainly on the factor intel. But hey you reminded me that I wanted to call somebody. Thanks man, I hope it works out this time.
  25. @TripRodriguez: as I stated before, I am waiting for a responce from the french army about some questions raised by us. I can only ask for patience, as we have to be patient to for the answer from the guys that flythe helicopter on a daily basis.
