  1. It's 52 for me, based on sitting in fighter aircraft IRL at Wright Patt AFB (as a reference point) and then testing for when the stick and throttle are being held the same spot in VR and RL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. I seem to do just fine in MP, despite the "VR handicap", and know of a few other guys that do just fine online as well :music_whistling: I can also read pretty much anything in the cockpit as well, only some things need a super quick zoom in to validate (used to need to do the same on a monitor as well though). Just a heads up that your IPD in-game shouldn't match your IRL IPD from your eye doctor...two totally different things.
  3. 391.01 is running very well for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It took some retuning on my part for the boosts, but everything is running well for me now. The extra Harrier radio doesn't seem to exist for me though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Patience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ah, good to know...thanks! I'll have to open it up and take a look at that, that's gotta be what's up with them.
  7. I, personally, don't disagree...I will be changing between grips shortly once I have a Gunfighter Pro with a MCG, Warthog Grip, Hornet/Harrier grip, and Tomcat grip. Shouldn't be too difficult to add an extra 30 seconds to the changeover process when necessary.
  8. Let me make sure I am following...you're then proposing that people take the detent in and out based on whatever jet they are flying? Not a bad idea really, given how quickly it can be done...probably more of a hassle than many people are willing to go through though.
  9. That would be so awesome!
  10. Probably for the exact same reasons most real fighter jets have detents (or finger lifts, etc) to be able to push through in to burner? It's used as feedback for the pilot.
  11. Just kidding, brother. Very well written review; accurate, well thought out and complete. I think it outlines the true trade off one needs to consider when looking to get in to VR: Is one willing to give up all the pretty graphics (and some of the other benefits that come along with that graphic quality) for increased immersion and the feeling of "being there"? If one is not, current VR is not going to work out no matter how much someone wants it to. Wish it had worked out for you, luckily you've got a damn good setup to fall back on
  12. Slaw RX Vipers. $700 to get them to the US, but oh so worth it [emoji7] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Looking forward to your thoughts boss! Enjoy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Roger that, will edit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Not sure it's worth adding at the moment (not sure how many skins you're looking to put in the pack?), but here is a good Aggressors skin pack for the F-5: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2314656/ Currently it's probably not worth adding but once the Hornet and Tomcat are out, it would become relevant IRT an organized MP TOPGUN scenario/event (primarily the VFC-13 Black Saints skin that's in the pack, as they fly as Adversaries in BFM Training at NAS Fallon). edit: per Hoggit, this is already included in game. My mistake!
  16. Eagle: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1410316/ Harrier: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3149719/
  17. Here is a greatly improved default skin for the Harrier: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3350830&postcount=1 Another great Harrier skin: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3348552&postcount=19 And another: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3358445&postcount=22 I am assuming you have the 104th Harrier skin too, correct? I think I sent that one previously but can't remember 100%. Thanks for the initiative to get this put together, this should be a massive help for MP servers to ensure everyone has the skins that people are loading on to themselves. S!
  18. How are you controlling things in VR?
  19. I believe the stock settings work perfectly for the A-10C module with the Warthog Throttle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. GAMETRIX KW-908 JETSEAT Don't forget the fact that it looks badass too :smilewink: Here is what I believe to be true, Andre can confirm: Better material on the cover Adds 2 transducers (up to 8 from the original 6...but the 908 had 8) Easier access to transducers Looks badass
  21. You're welcome, and the Sim Edition is this custom service: https://andres.shop/jetseat/31-jetseat-901-flight-sim-customization-1.html
  22. He answered you the first time you asked in the post immediately following yours
  23. Following up to this with a copy/paste from my cockpit thread here because I'd like some feedback if anyone has any before I invest any time in building this. I really like the trackpad (one finger press/click = left click, two fingers press/click = right click, two fingers can scroll i.e. turn knobs, and it has a click when you press down so you can feel it)...but it felt awkward having it strapped to my leg. It's hard to explain but it felt weird and cramped trying to use it in practice. Instead I've just been sitting it flat on the desk next to my keyboard and it feels a lot better and easier to use that way. So, I had an idea this morning (excuse the elementary level sketch) of how I would take that and improve upon it...a desk mounted stand for my keyboard and 2 trackpads, inspired by the VKB desk mount teaser: My crappy design sketch: Allows for the "feel" of using MFD's with needing to reach my left/right hand forward to interact, except I can use my HMD to point me in the general direction with the cursor and then use my finger on the trackpad to refine where the cursor is before clicking...and I don't need to worry about blinding being able to find the right OSB button in the heat of combat the way I would with a Thrustmaster MFD setup (I feel like this would be a nightmare for me with physical MFDs, or I would constantly be peeking out the bottom of the HMD) I will be able to also use these to operate the UFC, with either my right or left hand very easily while in flight. I also won't need to take my hand off the stick if I find myself in a turn trying to punch something in to the UFC or trying to click Master Arm, Change A/G weapon, etc Also allows me the ability to realistically interact with anything on the front dash (A/G, NAV, V/STOL Mode buttons...Master Arm, Flaps On/Off, RWR Volume, Bingo Fuel Bug, etc) Can also operate in a pinch any of the side console buttons, if necessary, in flight...most of the side console stuff I need in flight in already bound to my Throttle I will use my traditional mouse for anything on the ground (i.e. start up) as it's a bit quicker for me to churn through the process that way albeit not at realistic/natural in feeling I will keep the kneeboard strap (1) because I threw all the packaging away so I can't return it lol and (2) because I may start using it to hold my iPad for my kneeboard. I hate the ingame kneeboard implementation where it just pops up on your screen (and not on your pilots leg), so I might just do this instead and peak below my HMD to see. I am going to head to my parents house to have my dad build it for me this weekend (I am not handy, at all)...any suggestions for improvement before I get started?
  24. Next idea :pilotfly: I tried and hated the VR controllers in cockpit so much that I actually ended up going a different route to enable left handed cockpit functionality when necessary (or convenient). I had been wanting to get a left side mouse for a while, but kept holding out to see what type of hand tracking might come about...looks like that is a while off, so last week I picked up: This trackpad: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9JN5CT4055 This kneeboard to hold the trackpad: http://www.mypilotstore.com/MyPilotStore/sep/10270 I really like the trackpad (one finger press/click = left click, two fingers press/click = right click, two fingers can scroll i.e. turn knobs, and it has a click when you press down so you can feel it)...but it felt awkward having it strapped to my leg. 25. Definitely different material on the seat cover...Andre's Sim Edition is made from a nice, "military style fabric" (per the website) versus the stock seat which I believe is a pleather type of material. The SE material seems durable. In any case, the SE edition from Andre looks and I imagine feels worlds better. Outside of the other benefits you mentioned, my understanding is that Andre also adds additional padding/cushioning inside of the seat cover so it's much more comfortable to sit on. With the basic "seat mat" I can only imagine you can feel the little vibration motors uncomfortably digging in to you while sitting on them. Lastly, regarding the differences in the new ForceFeel seat, sokol made a post with the most relevant details I've seen so far: Thread for further questions and discussion: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=203529
