  1. The resolution is to fix the other missiles in the game, not nerf the one in the game that actually works (or close to works). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Try it in VR and let me know. Also, what Nvidia drivers are you running?
  3. Roger. Hopefully RAZBAM will add this in then
  4. Does the real Harrier have these?
  5. Also curious about how we can best accomplish this  Pretty much all of the major MP servers have this functionality at this point, so I am assuming a lot of users will be interested. That said, I do know that in Beta phase MP is not guaranteed to be supported...or at least that was the case last I heard.
  6. Same, and a TON of frame drops. Noticeably worse frames overall too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. That's all relative, in any case...as he said, that is in the works and close to releasable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. OvGME Repo worked like a charm for me, fantastic work on this. Will be a very valuable feature to quickly and easily stay up to date with the latest version! S!
  9. There's 3rd party stuff, I believe Heatblur's Viggen Campaign was included.
  10. waterman, I have previously given you kudos on the Mirage canopy work you did in that thread...and I wanted to do the same here. I just watched the video in the OP, and wow, awesome work with this sound mod! I can safely safe this: As a guy who doesn't fly the Mirage, I am sad to miss out on your work firsthand...but I hope that you share a love for some of the aircraft I will fly in the future (Hornet, Tomcat, Harrier). Keep up the great work, boss
  11. C'mon ED let the magician work his magic
  12. And thank god for that! All of the FC3 aircraft + Frogfoot should be sufficient for non-study fans long in to the future. ED should update these modules intermittently as new tech and techniques become "standard" in builds of DCS and call it a day. Minimize time wasted/spent on the FC3 stuff. Just my $0.02, and before the Harrier I had spent 100% of my time on the FC3 stuff only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It's 52 for me, based on sitting in fighter aircraft IRL at Wright Patt AFB (as a reference point) and then testing for when the stick and throttle are being held the same spot in VR and RL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I seem to do just fine in MP, despite the "VR handicap", and know of a few other guys that do just fine online as well :music_whistling: I can also read pretty much anything in the cockpit as well, only some things need a super quick zoom in to validate (used to need to do the same on a monitor as well though). Just a heads up that your IPD in-game shouldn't match your IRL IPD from your eye doctor...two totally different things.
  15. 391.01 is running very well for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It took some retuning on my part for the boosts, but everything is running well for me now. The extra Harrier radio doesn't seem to exist for me though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Patience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Ah, good to know...thanks! I'll have to open it up and take a look at that, that's gotta be what's up with them.
  19. I, personally, don't disagree...I will be changing between grips shortly once I have a Gunfighter Pro with a MCG, Warthog Grip, Hornet/Harrier grip, and Tomcat grip. Shouldn't be too difficult to add an extra 30 seconds to the changeover process when necessary.
  20. Let me make sure I am following...you're then proposing that people take the detent in and out based on whatever jet they are flying? Not a bad idea really, given how quickly it can be done...probably more of a hassle than many people are willing to go through though.
  21. That would be so awesome!
  22. Probably for the exact same reasons most real fighter jets have detents (or finger lifts, etc) to be able to push through in to burner? It's used as feedback for the pilot.
  23. Just kidding, brother. Very well written review; accurate, well thought out and complete. I think it outlines the true trade off one needs to consider when looking to get in to VR: Is one willing to give up all the pretty graphics (and some of the other benefits that come along with that graphic quality) for increased immersion and the feeling of "being there"? If one is not, current VR is not going to work out no matter how much someone wants it to. Wish it had worked out for you, luckily you've got a damn good setup to fall back on
  24. Slaw RX Vipers. $700 to get them to the US, but oh so worth it [emoji7] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Looking forward to your thoughts boss! Enjoy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
