  1. No. So LEAVU can take the data my LOMAC client exports and send it over the network to other clients and display it on their LEAVU. Now if it could just 'bug' one of those contacts imported to LEAVU, and then LEAVU steer my radar in the LOMAC client to that contact.
  2. Oh I C. Someone was asking for a gun funnel. At first I thought it was going to be added.
  3. So why is it being added? What about realism?
  4. Now if you can just write a program to steer my radar from LEAVU.
  5. You guys say its a lockon based product, but it has been updated to DCS. And we all know that the KA50 was originally intended for lockon anyways. I can see why you guys would make the claim, to CYA. But in all honestly, anything that was changed in DCS that would make FC 2.0 incompatible should easily be patchable. It is not as if you are developing 2 different because the parts that are going to matter are going to be the same. Now DCS modules not being compatible. That would really kill it for me. Defeats the purpose of a DCS series. And all that would be added is whatever new content is added. Just doesn't give me much of a warm fuzzy to hear maybe this maybe that, we will try. I guess its all wait and see, and if ED cant do it maybe our friendly community hackers can pull it off.
  6. Hmmm. I fail to understand how your post Eagle Eye actually answers his question. So ironic considering your post.
  7. You are on the inside, of course it is no surprise for you. Just because ED says something doesnt really mean anything. Them working on LOMAC could be adjusting the G tolerances and saying here ya go, see we worked on it. There was ever really any indication of what was planned to be worked on. What is more surprising is charging. I have the money, so that is not a concern, it just seems like we are paying for a patch. At least FC had a new aircraft. 1.2 was supposed to be the KA50 and LOMAC anyways. This is all stuff that was talked about and supposed to come with 1.2. So considering I am paying, I sure hope they don't make things worse :)
  8. I am speechless. I never thought I would see the day this would happen. Nice list of features. :pilotfly:

    IIRC no you can't.
  10. Seeing farther into the IR spectrum takes much more than can currently be handled in a headset, that is why there are much larger systems like FLIR.
  11. Well its been 2 years since this thread started. It would be a huge surprise to me to see anything come out. A welcome surprise, but one none the less.

Its amazing the lengths the end user has to go to, just to try and fix what should be patched.
  13. Im stunned. More at the crowd. I mean really, looking at the jet... the direction its pointed... Where I am standing with regards to that direction...
  14. I have a feature request. A release date!
  15. That wouldnt be a problem. F4 was the first game to use 2 processors, back in the day it was 2 sockets. 1 would run the dynamic engine, the other runs the client. Regardless F4 uses a bubble system. Anything outside the bubble is not rendered, but the dynamic engine is still running everything. The only reason F4 does not run better is probably just how old it is.

Was this in another thread? Because I don't see that said here.
  17. Will the enemy AI and sensors, reaction time and such be tuned also? If so, bring it. 2nm, that would be some sphincter clenching stuff.
  18. B is lock on nearest surface target.
  19. Once you have ALchemy installed you need to manually add LOMAC in the game list. Once I did that the loud engine has been solved.
  20. Yeah it will be nice to see the TFS update, I got one and its fantastic for LOMAC even with no native support. Just joystick scaling and some macro'd effects.
  21. Its such a great day when someone reverse engineers your hard work to give it away for free!
  22. Compatibility of modules should be like the #2 priority. Its so important.
  23. I can see this idea working very well if implemented in a patch.
  24. The ideal way to run touch buddy is from another computer over the network. You may check your processor affinities, maybe that will help? I wouldnt think on a quadcore it would hurt at all.
  25. I don't expect them to release the updated manual in PDF. I would love to see it so I could get it in color.
