I can't get any of the displays to show. I have created the virtual display just like in all the tutorials, yet all I get is the desktop showing instead of the MFD or CDU. NVM. Had to manually edit the options.lua in the saved games folder. Works great now!

I think the way ED is approaching it may be better. Or maybe Falcon's just needs to be more open? ED working its way through developing triggers and resource management will let us make better and more dynamic missions on its way to a dynamic missions. I think a dynamic mission in some cases might be better than a dynamic campaign.

I would say your GPU is slightly underpowered as well as your CPU. I am running an i7 920 @ 3.6ghz and 2 GTX285 in SLI and thats about what I get. This game is just real demanding. FC2 I get over 100FPS.

Strange Lange. I have Win 7 x64 on the 128GB Crucial C300. No stuttering issues here.

Eventually yeah I will put screens behind them, although it looks like a better use of space to use an LCD and maybe get something more out of the free space. The way I have it now it would be easy to convert. Almost done fitting. I am adding another L piece across the top of the MFD's. I liked adjusted the angle to have them forward of the main screen. It made it so I could raise them a bit. Had I to do it again I would have made the C clamps longer with relation to the depth of the screen. But its a pretty strong clamp. If I don't get lazy I will cut the rubber and glue it. Kind of want to use them.

Just banged it out on the vise and a 4lb sledge. Just about to mark up some spots to put the bolts. Ideally I will want to thread the holes. I don't have a press so I will check the store for a drill guide.

Ah I see. I am not putting MFD's on top of an LCD. I am trying to hang them from my LCD so they do not rest on the desktop.

I am definitely looking at doing something similar to this in the future. But for now I just have the MFD's and not another monitor. Phase 2. Thats once I get this big oak desk moved downstairs.

My wife said the same thing. Without anything behind it, it won't withstand you pressing on the MFD buttons. Its OK some school named me an engineer, I'm on it. :joystick:

I have a nice articulating arm mount for my LCD. It allows to me to kind of move it where ever I need and quickly clear up desk space if needed. The one problem remaining for me, is where to put these Cougar MFD's. I can just leave them on the desktop of course. But I would like to have them hanging from the LCD. Has anyone done this? And what solutions have you used. I have a solution brewing in my head but I am wondering what everyone else has done.

I am not trying to imply its modeled to the standards of the A10C. Neither is CA. But it is an F15C in DCS.

They probably just found a bug that required immediate attention. Or they decided to add a feature they thought was important. I can dream and hope its a map for the MFCD. My money is on something related to the weapons AFM. Or something that could be exploited in MP. Spending hundreds of dollars is not a solution. FC3 is pretty much DCS: F15C.

Is the MFCD going to have more pages? Not sure if it should, but I love the map in the A10C.

It doesn't matter if its the master server or the client. Connecting to the master server is the problem and so calling it a master server bug is quite accurate. Its just a petty way of trying to antagonize pissed off customers who cant use the game.

Fact fiction, I don't care. The FACT is when I try to connect to the master server it crashes. The FACT is, when I have the problem many others do at the same time. So the client may be having a problem, but it is having a problem with the data coming FROM the master server. Missed the part where I don't care? Here it is again. I don't care. BTW, just as c0ff pointed out.... upon receiving the master server list... I wonder where that list comes from? THE MASTER SERVER!!! Heard that before. Since I haven't been able to play the game for quite some time, 'Soon' is empty and meaningless.
