Ahh. I was thinking the big button in the middle that says Instant Action. I havent bothered with the easy avionics mode. So this mode has IR for the Shkval?... Sure would be nice to have on the simulation model.

Popping smoke and taking cover would go a very long ways! Not sure how the KA-50 handles tracking targets through smoke. I know its not all that easy manually with the TOW thermal site!

No one said it was dead. Aerobatics has nothing really to do with the problems of the sim, and few enjoy formation flying. Watching is different. Sure the LRM mod has helped things, but they are work arounds because the developer hasnt. IMO, that should be embarassing. The community should be creating mods and skins, not fixing things.

Here is the latest X52 Profile I am using. I fixed a few of the commands that didnt go across all the modes. I also moved the swapped the trim and Shkval uncage, so that trim is on the collective. Latest software of course. Black Shark v1.3.zip

Make sure your GFX drivers are up to date. Did you allow DX to install?

Well the sound problem could possibly be solved by installing OpenAL and then setting it up for LOMAC. The crashing though? Not sure, there are a lot of variables. Make sure all the drivers are up to date.

There is no IR imaging for the Shkval/TV. NVG's are good enough to get you home, but good luck actually fighting at night.

IMO I don't agree. There are just some people who are not going to be drawn to DCS for a while because there is no A2A for a bit. Patching LO provides longevity for these people, which would make them more inclined to purchase DCS when fighters do come. Then again, if there was a patch in the works we would have heard about it from beta testers and such, not details but just that it existed. Since we haven't, even if they started now I think it would take a while to get it out. By then the A10C will be out. I would prefer they just put the effort in to bringing a fighter to DCS quicker.

The TIR software is finicky with BS it seems. Sometimes I have to restart the TIR software. Sometimes the pause and reset key dont work, and I have to reset direct input from the TIR software...

Many people said that. And many of those people, are flying BS, having a hell of a time, and loving it. :thumbup:

How do you use this with TrackIR.

I have been looking at where they are saved, since I dont see any options to before flight. Well it appears that they are both saved by default in the temp folder. I got a few days old install and I got like 30 of each in there. This folder is going to fill up fast.

navigate to \1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ka-50\keyboard You should have a keyboard.lua and default.lua. My guess is you dont have the default.lua.

You mean more than I already did? I am not sure how that is possible. 1. Download the file 2. Extract to the 1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50 folder. Same place the uninstall.exe is, same place the multiplayer.bat is..... 3. Double-click the .cmd file that applies to you. Or even make a shortcut to it on the desktop... Same thing I said before.

Its a bit hard to understand, but here is what I understand... You wanted to remove the weapon selection graphic at the lower right. Its discovered that to do this, you must deselect easy avionics. When you deselect easy avionics, you are not able to un-pause once in the cockpit. Is that correct?
