It may not be resolution, but a porked graphics.cfg file. If a semi-colon or something is missing, it will give this error I believe.

According to the the purpose the missile was intended for, I see no reason to have mid course guidance. But it sure would be powerful if it did, outside that of the initial intention. I would venture to say that they dont, more so for financial reasons than anything else.

I think some people misunderstand. TacView can not be used to cheat. But to get the TacView file, LUA exports must be enabled. Having exporting enabled is what allows people to cheat. Just record your flight. Then replay the track on your computer with exporting on to get the TacView. Correct?

Its called asking. And then lots of research. Then development/beta testing. I dont believe anything they are doing is considered classified. The information being classified is a reason we dont see the A10C or AH-64 Longbow or others.

I have never used a fighter communication device. But I have used the SINGAR(sp?), and the quality is superb.

There is a difference between just being able to carry the weapon, and the capability to deliver it. A pack of Longbows is by far the most deadly of attack helos. There are other manufacturers who try to replicate what the Longbow radar can do, but as far as I know, no production helo can.

I would go with the AH-64D Longbow. I dont think there is any other helicopter that can match its munition delivery capabilities. Especially when you consider multiple helos working in a group.

I dont believe that is a problem with the driver, but LOMAC code. Its one of the fixes listed for the DX9 conversion.

True, but only because of the logistics of it all. Who really wants to spend more money on another peice of hardware? Having to go back to the 3D accelerator days. But, if a common API is eventually chosen, and GPU's (which are more suited for the task) include the design needed, then I think it could be a good advancement. I think nVidia buying Ageia, is the best thing that Ageia could have hoped for.

Lock On is well before PPU. It wont do any good. Also, I dont think there are any PCI-e PPU's. You really wont find many games that do support it. Also, nVidia bought Ageia, so expect it on their GPU's soon.

The locking up thing when closing is common. I dont believe there is a fix yet.

I am running Vista 64, and have no issues. Have you updated the SF drivers? And using 1.12b?
