  1. Mine took that long also from my bank to paypal. The thing is, if you transfer money to paypal it takes that long. But if paypal gets the money from your account, it doesnt.
  2. Which file are we editing? The graphics.cfg doesnt seem to reflect the settings I have in game.

  5. So I had some problems connecting to servers last night, and I am not sure the cause. It would get stuck after selection to join at "loading mission". Now the host had indicated that he had some custom music added, so this may possible be whats causing the hang. The real annoying part is that there is no way to cancel, and it does not timeout even though there is no traffic between me and host. It would be nice to be able to cancel from connecting, or for a timeout to be added. No "support" being asked for, just bringing it to attention.

  7. It is different than the Su25T. When you lock and have the vihkir selected you should get an aiming circle similar to what you see with the cannon. You need to get that close to the target circle in the HUD.

  9. He is able to select cannon. He is trying to use the other hardpoints.
  10. The laser doesnt work like the Su25T. Once you lock the Shkval you will see a countdown for the laser, this is probably for ranging. The button next to it is for resetting the weapons mode. Turn Shkval on. Turn master arm on. Turn laser standby switch to up. Select vihkir, outside pylon. Lock intended target. Move Vihkir aiming circle over target circle in HUD. This will present a C that allows you to fire. Press and hold the release weapon key until missile fires.
  11. Right above your collection you will see a panel. It has 4 blue/gree boxes in a square, and those are the targetting modes. Right below that is 4 toggle switches. The most right one is the laser standby on/off.
  12. Ahh. I was wondering what was going on. I did notice that if I changed some of the mapping to exactly as the key list says. So if it says F + RCTL, I would have problems if mapped as RCTL + F. Do you have a link to this thread EB?
  13. Y and I are used to select the inboard or outboard pylons, U for all weapons (though that only makes sense if all pylons are the same). Your airspeed is not indicated in the HUD when in weapons mode, but it is there for me if I am not in weapons mode. To cancel weapons mode hit backspace.
  14. I notice in the current multiplayer interface, there is no way to view the mission map to see what your waypoints are and such like there was in LOMAC. It would be good to have the option to see this like in LOMAC, but to also have your specific flights path highlights, unlike LOMAC. Also there is no option to save the mission from MP like you could in LOMAC, and this would be great.
  15. One too many 0's :D I am going to play with these values and the LOD's more to see what I can get. I am thinking about dropping the around_objects to a small number when the around_camera is high. With maps that have high unit counts, I wonder how that would help. If you cant see it, why cache around it? And since the around_camera is so high, further than you can see, it makes me wonder if these values would work similar to the F4 bubble?
  16. The mapping ability in BS is pretty strong. Almost as strong as the SST, just without the macro function. But who really uses that? The only reason I use the SST software is because I can use the clutch button to see what I have something progammed to!
  17. Even though it is frustrating for all of us, it is a testament to good this community is and how much people are willing to help each other out. Repent has helped me and others, so my hats off to him. Now if the 159th would put up a real mission :D
  18. Really minor. So from the server viewer, when you first open it or you do a new search the only information displayed is the IP until you refresh. Then it shows the server name and IP, mission, players and ping. :pilotfly:

  22. Yeah they changed the .pr0 layout. They were supposed to get a conversion tool out. I am sure some 12 year old programmer could figure it out.
  23. I have had no real problem programming my X52. Its not fully loaded up yet, but I have most of the main functions needed.
  24. Try to not descend so fast. I think max maybe 8 or so m/s? If you do get into the vortex ring you must learn how to get out of it. Usually I try and drop the nose to get some forward momentum and add collective.
  25. Well its good they are working on it. For those with Vista and needing to use OpenAL, which doesnt solve the loud engine. Here is the solution I found. Just wrap the engine up to afterburner, and then bring it back down. Kills the excessive noise for me.
