  1. know what? yeah, i got a bit of a "pop" also at high alt after my first post i think its "better" - but there seems to be a little bit of an issue "sometimes" when disengaging autopilot... still, "thanks" to belsimtek for the continuing work
  2. seems like its fixed i just engaged the AP and then disengaged it and....... the nose didn't suddenly dive or pop up can anyone else confirm? if it truly is fixed.. a great big "thank you" to belsimtek 8)
  3. For the Rest of Us 1.)Would stimulate a larger community into DCS (at the very least a little bit). This gives you a healthy boost of new and eager pilots that would populate our servers. ... my answer to that >>>
  4. I don't think there is a way to increase the size of the HUD font but going from 1080 to 1440 made the HUD easier to read for me

  7. i would *love* to see heavies in DCS - i probably would not personally purchase them, but i know there is a segment of the community that would relish the opportunity and yes, BONEs too! would be great to have SAC represented in DCS (i would actually probably purchase a B-1) speaking of heavies, not that they need to be actually player-flyable, but i would love to see more variety in AI civvie/airline traffic - so as to model real-world activity
  8. grrrr.. i like to fly the mission to completion - ie.. fly all the way back and land unfortunately, you can do everything right, targets destroyed, get a mission success message - and then still fail all due to no fault of your own the AI may get shot down in the course of the mission (i guess you could say you didn't do air-to-air good enough then huh?) or the AI may take damage, and be RTB when the mission success message appears, and then on the way back, crash - and then you'll get the mission failed message mission 7 was kicking my butt -- for these reasons...

  14. what would be nice would be a step function - press a button and the computer selects the highest priority non-friendly-IFF contact, then designate, select next highest, desig, etc not dependent on user's cursor control

  16. heh! yeap : ) and, in THIS mission, the briefing says don't shoot unless shot at first - then when you're on station, you hear that a 3-ship has crossed the FEBA and you're cleared to engage ??? that was confusing ----- i haven't been shot at but i'm cleared to engage? well, lets see here.. i'm flying an eagle, i've got all these missiles, they're right there.. and i have clearance ---- LETS GO! >: )

  18. problem in mission 05 as the jets are taxiing out - the flight on the ramp behind the player's attempts to taxi out of order (it looks like?) and the far jet gets blocked in that prevented all the following jets from launching - i never got clearance, but i went anyway - but my flight didn't follow me a few jets that preceded this incident got airborne, but as you can see, a large percentage of the strike force was stuck on the deck here's a screenshot of an overhead view.... the jet circled in red was the one that got blocked in has anyone else successfully flown mission 05? has this happened to anyone else?

  20. thx yeah, flew the first mission last night and couldn't find those docs - someone posted a link to the supplemental material today agreed - printing these docs will help..
  21. again, first mission is an air start (i "think") because they are simulating departure from home base (not modeled in NTTR), transiting a long distance (2bags) and arriving on station in the AOR and taking up a CAP station to provide cover for arriving follow-on elements the bullseye is deep in RED territory - it is not meant to be overflown - they are either following along with the convention we've seen online where typically b/e is wpt 1 ----- or (maybe), that's the way its done in the real-world (you must allow for that possibility) ---- the first time i flew the first mission, yeah i proceeded to wpt 1 and got the mission failure msg and had to go back to the drawing board, read the brief, look at the map, and figger out what i did wrong (emphasis on the "I") as for your comments to the effect of everything should be "right" out of the gate.. well, you might have a point, but also keep in mind, if something doesn't work for you - CHANGE IT ----- you're a big boy, cmon ?? i'm stoked - from what i've seen in the first mission, this campaign is kickass and i'm looking forward to the rest of the missions and more red flags after this! i had a few minor points of feedback i wanted to get in front of the devs eyes - i was not intending to open up a slugfest this is a great product - lets keep this on point also, i want it understood that if i am offering a suggestion that is counter to how things are performed in the real-world........ stick to your guns and.. CORRECT ME maybe wpt 1/bullseye is normally Mt Helen ----- in that case, i would retract my statement and say "atta boy! that's why i come to DCS!" also, if there is a better, more private way of providing feedback, away from the eyes of the immature that want to diss all over well-made material, let me know
