  1. good! i appreciate your work to add variety to the server mission line-up here's a question.. can we have bison returned to "normal" weapons again? just for a change think about it.... : )
  2. i fully support anti-cheating measures but i also want to capture the "full mission" on tacview - so in order to get the whole mission, i have to leave ten minutes of dead time at the end of the mission so tacview captures everything including the landing ----- dead time is a good thing to prevent cheating, but TEN MINUTES is unnecessary - two minutes is probably enough
  3. what in the world.....?!?
  4. sometimes when i join a MP server my view is screwed up (ie.. too close - or backed way too far back) i try to reset the view and it doesn't work - only "fix" is to exit the game and come back in anyone else have this? release version and open alpha
  5. after this latest patch (late dec2016) all of my tracks are de-syncing ----- in other words, what happens in REPLAY isn't what happened in the game ---- also, say i'm on a server and i respawn, the first jet appears and gets tracked (ie.. tacview records it) but not second third, etc help?
  6. yeah.. there's something screwy going on here ---- i noticed something similar
  7. is there anything specific about page 22? or is it the first post in the thread that has the magic?
  8. uploaded a video of what i'm seeing...
  9. i've had *massive* problems with my view system - its my own fault, i know it i had default.LUAs in so many different folders and directories its crazy long story short i took a round turn on it and got back to "mostly" a sane setup one little problem remains - when i turn my head to check six i see the seat, i'm not "turning" in the seat (leaning past the side) to see between the vert tails how do i fix that?? anyone know?? thanks in advance
  10. heh! don't get too bent outta shape - i can fly in formation with an eagle in full burner - while i am not in burner ----- got a video to prove it too they want to "burn all the way to bullseye" ---- so they take three bags, they don't realize it takes full burner to fly with three bags, and there's so much weight and drag that their top speed is dirt there's no advantage newbs...
  11. you're getting what ~30fps right? you're flying a helo for petes sake! you're already moving so slow....... [ ducks! ] lol
  12. also.. there may an issue with the gunsight the pipper may not be taking certain own-ship parameters in to account
  13. gracias! : )
  14. that's right - i didn't specify i really only have experience with the F-15C
  15. of course of course if we're talking "realism" here, none of the ordnance on board can be discharged unless the aircraft are first armed by ground crew, an operation that occurs near the entrance to the runway ---- accidental discharges are thus minimized its just a request - and i think it would be an intelligent (and warranted) modification and yes, i do try my best to operate as realistically as possible - it is in the process of following realistic procedures, cycling the controls to ensure full free and correct control surface function, that once in a while, the stick pushes up against my leg and the flares get fired off, that's because spacing available between the throttle quadrant, as mounted on the obutto r3v chassis, in conjunction with the TM:WH stick with JS extension ---- in order to fix it, i would need to move the throttle quadrant outboard by about an inch - but i don't have the tooling to do that, i would need to employ the services of a metal fabricator again (i needed a clients assistance to mod my cockpit setup) so.. just sayin - if there was a simple "weight on wheels" check (or even simply landing gear handle check [up or down] as is the current situation with the gun) for the ch/fl, that would be great
  16. not a bug more of a "problem" there's a "weight on wheels" switch (or equivalent) with the guns ---- ie.. you can't fire the guns while on the ground how about the same restriction for chaff and flares?? i move the controls through their full range of motion as part of my preflight and i can't tell you how many times the stick bumps into my thigh, hitting a button on the HOTAS (the emerg flare button) and....... crud, i needed those! thanks!
  17. whatever you do, don't scroll back a page or two - god forbid someone wastes 20sec of looking to see what has been said on that very subject.. : /
  18. re: OpBison either do 80s - night - or EvW but not all at the same time please thank you
  19. i would most CERTAINLY buy the F-105! iconic vietnam war era warbird - "thud ridge" : )
  20. unrelated but related... i saw in skatezilla's youtube vid how the kneeboard is represented in VR its just a 3D version of the 2D kneeboard here's an idea ----- put the kneeboard down there where your knee/lap would be - like it is in the real world the way it is now (in front of you - but offset to the right) it blocks your view forward
  21. john chesire, tomcat pilot, recounts an unofficial and unapproved many-vs-many furball between early model F-14s and -15s dogfight of the decade - pilot's account while everyone was trading sea stories afterward in the o'club, a reporter lurking in the shadows listened in and based on what he overheard, published an article... here's the article enjoy! 8)
  22. its not pointless ----- the military screens very critically on eyesight you are pointless
  23. it was only a matter of time...
